Then my husband and I got our appetizers and the $13 buffalo egg rolls were empty. Literally. One whole egg roll was just the shell with nothing in it (see photo). We also both ordered medium burgers and both with super pink. The saving grace was the wings and the French fries. That's it. I got the bill only to see after ordering there's an additional fee if you don't pay cash. We don't get to go out often and when we experience something like this, it makes me not want to again. I have never had to leave a restaurant to go get food elsewhere, I brought the rest of my burger home for our dogs. We will never come back - do better.

Then came this past Thanksgiving weekend where it required traveling on I-84 from Cape Cod to get to Danbury and my mom, sister and I decided to try you out. Now, I am in the dog house because they want to know when the next time that we are going. I had the chicken club and it was absolutely delicious. A huge piece of chicken with plenty of flavor. My sister had the short rib sandwich and was raving about it once we continued our drive saying she was so glad she had it even though she had short ribs herself for dinner the previous night. I don't know if that's an indictment on her cooking or what, but she loved it. The star however was the cod dinner that mom had. It was one of the flakiest and freshest pieces of fish she had ever had. We got a very late start to our trip, so by the time 2:00 came on the Saturday afternoon came, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The only gripe that we had ( not that we necessarily would have changed anything ) was that we noticed after we ordered that the table next to us got a specials menu and we didn't. It was nice and quiet as our waitress let us have a quiet late lunch and if we were ever in the area ever again, we would make a b-line back to the restaurant.
