The person working, who I assume may have been Hugo, was very nice and helpful. They serve tacos, tortas, tamales, burritos, quesadillas, soups and salads. They listed various meats on the menu, but on this day, they only only had Pastor, Lengua (beef tongue) and shredded chicken. I ordered one taco of each and a Passion Fruit Agua Fresca. The tortillas were very good. Each taco came with cilantro, onions and a shredded mild cheese. They also gave me Salsas Rojo and Verde, and a white container that I assume was sour cream. I don't normally order chicken or Lengua, but I thought they were well executed. The pastor didn't seem like pastor. It tasted good, but it seemed more like a pork sausage. It was lacking that trademark pastor marinade flavor. The salsas were both good. Hugo's is definitely a legit taco truck and I would return. 4.5 Stars.

The day of the event they arrived an hour before the event began to set up their prep area outside around the fire truck. They provided all paper goods, salad, pizza and Italian Ice. They were cranking out pizzas faster than we've ever seen and we had a crowd of over 100 people. They were very accommodating to all pizza requests including making several vegan pizzas. They did a great job with the food truck appearance and the area surrounding the food truck. The food truck, with its purple base, and cool art, is eye-catching. There was outside seating, and although the seating wasn't fancy, it was welcoming. Service was efficient. The food had some good parts, but I didn't connect with it like I do with my favorite spots. I ordered a Carne Enchilada Taco (marinated pork pieces) and a Chicharron Gordita. The pork on the taco was tender, but the marinade was just OK for me. The other aspects of the taco were fine, although there was too much cilantro. A Gordita is made with corn masa, and like an arepa can be, is used to make a small sandwich. Chicharron is fried pork skin. When you see it, it usually is in a long strip with perpendicular slices. It reminds me a bit of a thicker well cooked bacon. The corn masa seemed well executed. I didn't like the flavor combo of the lettuce, cheese crumbles (I assume cotija) and Chicharron. Also, some parts of the Chicharron were very crispy and not enjoyable to chew. These aren't common orders for me. If I returned, I'd probably try different types of tacos like pastor, chorizo or bistec. Given TQ's overall rating, I would still recommend visiting. 3.75 Stars

My wife sent me with detailed instructions to order a pair of "Stan's" hot dogs that featured Martin Rosol's hot dogs, grilled rolls, an abundance of Stan's relish and mustard. While I patiently waited for the food to be prepared, the aforementioned pair accompanying me took up temporary residence at one of the shaded picnic tables. Once again the food was cooked to order and came with both napkins and a smile. Yeah for Marty and his (I presume) bubbly wife.
