I'm not the type of person that likes to reviews, but this time I actually had a bad experience with this place...this is what happened. I got my break at my job I decide to go get McDonald's there was 5 cars in front of me, so I waited for my turn when I was about to order I decided to get a mc chicken with my points, I told my code to the girl and she said is invalid and I was but how I just did it, I have never used and I took my points, she said to pull to the window I did, she said she didn't that she couldn't do nothing that she was gonna tell the manager to go to other window, I go I'm there, the manager doesn't even know about it, I told her, and she enter it and say the same thing, and I told her the same thing as the other girl, she said she can't do nothing and then she was like okey for what is it and she end up giving it to me...and I ask her okey can I order the rest of my order since they didn't let me do it before she said NO I can't bc I have all this food and all this ppl waiting that I had to go back on line, when I was on line already and I waited she wanted me to go back....by the time I ended with around 8min of my break left so I couldn't go back and either going somewhere else. The bathrooms were absolutely clean...the fry oil was clean producing great fries...and the staff on point. Crazy. We thought it was brand new or something. Anyway...If you are on 95 heading north or south this McDonald's is absolutely safe and worth it. I love you I will wait Ok. If you don't want to get sick stay away from this place. I stopped here four days ago around 10:30pm and me and my girlfriend got two 10 piece meals. They took so long to get the food ready and the same night my girlfriend started feeling sick. 30 minutes after she ate she started feeling a really bad stomach pain and nausea. I came here before a road trip to the outer Banks to get some food in me as I prepared for a 4-Hour Drive. This is the perfect location right off 95 as you're heading down to the beach. I got here probably around 6:00 a.m. and there was plenty of parking on the street. I immediately opened my app so that I could see what deals they had and they did have one that said buy one sandwich and get one free. So I chose this deal when I ordered and had my friend enter my code into the kiosk as she placed her order along with another friends. I was excited because I love getting points off of other people's food!! I got the McGriddle steak sandwich and the free sandwich I got was The McGriddle bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I then ordered some coffee and a hash brown. I was trying to customize the coffee to just be just black, but I didn't see that option. Overall, it was easy to order. However, my friend was disappointed that there wasn't anybody at the cashier as she originally wanted to place an order. I do love the McGriddle steak and the sweet and savory taste of the steak combined with the griddle. That is my go-to whenever I visit lately. We sat at one of the tables and it was nice to relax before a long drive. So if you're heading down to the beach, I would recommend just stopping by here as it's right off the highway and easy to get back on. read more

I must say the service was quite fast and I must be going to the wrong locations at home because this location definitely serves FRESH and hot food. And a plus is my bread wasn't burnt. So I definitely enjoyed my meal this morning at this location. Only drawback was it seemed like it took us out of the way from the highway to get to it but I guess it was well worth it. read more

I was disappointed to wait 20 mins for a M regular coffee and M frappe. I could not go through the drive thru b/c my reward code did not work, so went in-store thinking they may know why. For whatever reason it just was not working so I put my order in w/out it. I waited patiently for 20 minutes and had to ask about my order when I saw they served 2 others that came in after me. I believe it was the manager who was helping me and who slowed down my order out of spite which makes it even worse. It is hard to witness the hearts that are lost and take joy in creating obstacles. Today is April 18, 2020-Covid Pandemic- I don't eat at McDonalds or many FastFood places often; this afternoon my neighbor messaged me as I was leaving my house, making a run to Target to get a few things. He and his wife have cancer, they don't leave their house right now and he asked if I could get him and his wife a few breakfast items. On my way home from Target I stopped at this location and I tried to order on their app but it was saying they weren't serving breakfast after 1059. I wasn't sure if it was an issue with the app or if it was legit. I go through the drivethru and I ask if I can order two biscuit sandwiches and the manager said due to limited supplies on specific things like eggs, they couldn't sell breakfast all day. I told her my neighbors were sick and I even offered to show her the text. But the manager 'Joey' said she'd make the bacon& cheese biscuits for them. It was such an amazing thing to do! She def didn't have too but she did and her entire team was just so nice and courteous. I just wanted to make sure they know that they not only made my day but my neighbors who are very sick. Its not over run by teenagers, the staff has always been attentive and courteous, and it's a clean facility. Worst McDonald's I have ever been to, and I am a fat guy so I eat a lot of McDonald's. I would rather eat a salad with a side of Broccoli then go to this McDonald's. They hardly ever have the chicken tenders past 8 PM. I have been there 5 times and my order has been screwed up 3 of them. The last time I ordered 6 things, and they handed me a bag with 2 large fries in there and said "it's all in there". Stopped in here for the kids to grab a quick bite before we got on the Auto Train. While there is ample parking, the parking spots themselves are pretty narrow. Inside, there was ample seating (all tables and no booths), but the floors were a bit dirty and the condiment station could have used a little cleaning up. Service was fine--not rude but not overly friendly either. Bathroom also needed some attending to. No play area for the kids here. The manager came out and was completely rude! I understand now that my car was parked in the wrong spot but if this error has happened before with previous customers the employee could have at least came out. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because the restaurant dining area closed before 8pm, even though the hours are clearly posted that they close the dining area at 11pm on Sundays. My husband dropped me and my 5 year old so we could get a head start on our order and my daughter could use the restroom. (Anyone with a 5 year old understands that this is an urgent situation). He took the car next door to the gas station. When my daughter and I tried to enter one door, it was locked. We tried the 2nd door: locked as well. An older, short male, who looked to be a manager, was counting out the drawer and motioned to use the drive-thru. This was confusing to me, as I was there at 7:45pm and they close at 11pm, so I mouthed a question so he could come to the door. He rolled his eyes, came over, and opened the door, and said to use the drive-thru. I asked why the dining room was closed if the sign says they close at 11. He said, "The machine is closed." (I'm assuming he meant the cash register, since clearly the food/drink machines were working if they were serving drive-thru). I asked if we could at least just use the restroom because my daughter had to go. Again the eye roll, a sigh and grunt, and then finally, "Ugh, ok fine." At this point I was so frustrated with him that I said "Forget it" and started walking us over to the gas station in the rain. So I know it may be kind of weird to review a McDonald's but I just had to for this specific locations. Every single time I go, the food is fresher than it's ever been at any McDonald's location I've been to. And it's consistent. Literally every time I go, my food is fresh... well as fresh as you can get from McDonald's. I even started testing this to see for sure by ordering something different each time. Burgers, check. Fries, definite check. McChicken, check. Nuggets, thank God check. There was one misfire with cheese sticks where they had obviously been sitting a while, but hey, it's McDonald's. Very dissapointed in the service at this location. I ordered in the drive through and it took 40 minutes for them to prepare my order. When I finally recieved my food, the order was not even correct.
