I love that there is a tous les jours in springfield. It's so much closer to my parents then going to Annandale. I normally go early on the weekend morning when I'm in town. My husband likes the little sugar donuts, they are very tasty. All of the danishes and croissants are fantastic. Well made,a lot of butter. The apple danish/turnover was my favorite. My mom loves the Portuguese egg tart. She gives it one of the biggest compliments - it's not too sweet. My dad enjoyed the more savory items (ham and cheese croissant). All their cakes look delicious, I haven't tried any yet but I think next time there's a holiday, I'll definitely stop by. They also have a lot of drinks i have yet to try. The quality of the pastries and drinks at this cafe is top notch! We love the location in Annandale, and my family is very happy to now have this beautiful, clean, and delicious place a walking distance from our house. It's become very popular very fast though, so it's hard to find seating most of the time unless you go on a weekday morning after rush hour:( Two things I would recommend are adding more seating (perhaps even outdoor seating for the summer?), and having smaller trays/paper plates as options. Some of the tables inside are tiny, and the large trays barely fit on them, so it would be great to have a smaller option, especially when you're only getting 1-2 small baked goods. I've gotten coffee here before as well, and they take a lot of care when it comes to the preparation of their pastries and coffee drinks. The store happens to be located riggt off a main thouroughfare, and I happened to be driving by one day, so I came to check it out. The ambiance is too sterile and not really designed for staying or hanging out, and I've always ordered to-go. I could tell the chairs and tables were set-up in a way for customers who stay for a short period of time. Pretty expensive, but nice choices for Asian influenced pastries. Nice drink menu (with misspelled "pomegranate". Some savory choices and sandwiches available too. Including an "egg sando". Nice amount of seating. Beepers are a little annoying for picking up drinks as they go off randomly around the restaurant. Music is Asian anime inspired elevator music. I was super happy another location opened up. I normally would go to the Annandale location when I was in the mood for some pastries. I came early afternoon and was happy there were a decent of pastries leftover. There have been times I went after lunch and there wasn't too much but cakes afterwards in the Annandale location because I think it's more populated considering it's next to The Block. Parking was a breeze as this establishment is in a shopping center. So you could shop at Ross or get groceries all while stopping in Tous Les Jours for a treat. A little more than half of the space is for seating but can be tight I imagine when they're busy. You can get savory or sweet pastries which I love. And the cakes are pretty delicious. I ended trying their tiramisu latte this time around. I got it iced and thought it was pretty good as I'm not big on super sweet drinks so it was perfect for me. I got a mix of slices of cake, chocolate croissants, hot dog pastry, and the cream filled rolls. I devoured majority of my treats immediately and was pleasantly happy that even with their recent opening, everything tastes yummy. Can't wait to return when I'm around visiting. read more

We have been to many Tou Les Jours locations and came to this one since it was newer. When my friend ordered a strawberry matcha the brown drink is what came out. We confirmed with the worker before trying it and were surprised to hear he confirmed it was a strawberry matcha. The drink tasted watered down and more strawberry milk than anything. I'm so glad my friend told me that Tous Les Jours was just around the corner. The cafe is beautiful inside and they have a nice coffee selection. I tried the tiramisu latte and the ube latte which were both very tasty. Service was quick and efficient. Staff were still being trained but didn't affect my experience. They have beautiful light cakes, donuts and macarons. Will definitely be returning. Also love that they open at 7:30 am. read more

I came three times already and each time they are either out of what I want or there is something wrong with my order. As I love their bake good options I find their drinks and cakes over priced and not too accommodating. There's not very many alternatives to lactose free people and the service there is lacking. A lot of younger high school kids that seem like they are forced to work by their parents...very non chalant and not friendly either. Two of the times I went I got baked good, taste was good, but I got multiple items and they didn't even bother to as to bag up or box my pastries...I had to ask. I mean honestly you see one person and assume they will dine in and eat all the food? No...with good customer service you offer and when I did ask they seemed pissed about it...this generation is full of spoiled teens with bad attitudes, what happened to manners and working hard? On to the drinks...i got a tiramisu latte that took over 28 minutes to get because they ran out of the foam...but didn't tell anyone until 10 minutes into the drink or at least let me know when I ordered. I couldn't even get back in line for a refund cause it was so long...and the manager/owners? They seemed stressed and frantic...the drink itself? 1/10 lacked flavor and I don't see what was tiramisu about it? Because of the cocoa powder on the top? I tasted no mascarpone on the top...and the bottom was just expresso and milk. And then in then towards the middle of my drink I found a LARGE PLASTIC from possibly a zip lock bag in my drink... at that point I just threw it all away... I've come here before to pick up the bcloud cake for a celebration and it was amazing. But today I stopped in for a cappuccino to-go and... nope. No lids for hot drinks (on any size), so I stayed to drink it. The cup was scalding, and sleeve for the cup was MIA until requested, and the cappuccino? More like a sad latte. This place opened up really close to where I live and it's been my go to for a quick cup of coffee or pastries. Im really happy an Asian bakery opened up nearby. Pros: Food- the Greek yogurt berry pastry was tasty. Drinks- good variety of espresso drinks in different sizes. Cons: Wifi - I asked an employee and was told they don't have it for customers, huge bummer. Service - pretty bad. A quick "hello" or even a nod to acknowledge there is a fellow human being in front of you at the check-out would go a long way. Ambience- I think this place is designed to prevent people from spending time sitting down. Very limited wall outlets for chargers. Also, the employee in charge of bussing tables would stand uncomfortably close and stare at anyone who looked like they had finished their food/drink. I can respect it if they only want people to stay a short amount of time, but if so I'd definitely prefer they indicate that clearly with signage or something rather than the passive-aggressive approach. To sum up, it's fine for a quick snack but can't recommend it if you want to sit and enjoy for a while. read more

This location of Tous Les Jours just opened and I'm very glad we have one of the big Korean Bakery cafes now so close and I don't have to go to Annandale every time. The food and drinks here are great and the staff is friendly. The only problem is that is mobbed and there are very few places to sit. I think the staff is a little overwhelmed, but they still crank out the drinks pretty fast given the volume and keep it clean. Both times I've gone have been over the weekend and I've still been able to sit down. That said- there is always a line. read more

Not sure why they stay open until 9pm, because they aren't making fresh food throughout the day. We were hoping to pick up a few things for dessert and went about 4pm on two separate occasions. They had very few things out and they were all old looking. Even when you go early, they don't have a lot of choices. The food in the "hot box" looks like it came from 7/11 or Wawa. Don't waste your time or money and go to Paris Baguette down the road in Springfield. Much better selection and quality. read more

So happy to see a bakery/ coffee shop open in Burke. It's very nice inside. Lots of great choices and the coffee was very good. You pick up a tray and tongs and pick out what you want. Then pay. If it's to go they will bag everything or you can stay and eat there. It's bright and clean and lots of seating to sit and talk. The only thing I would say is the music was a little too loud. Should be background music so people can relax and visit. I've been there many times and love all the delicious choices!! read more
