Great fast friendly experience here today. That blueberry muffin was very fresh and enjoyable. It paid well with my black coffee.

Bright and open with an integrated coffee bar, the noise level is better than most. Table settings are beautiful with fresh flowers. The food, though, is outstanding. We were there for brunch on a Saturday. We shared the skillet cornbread and deviled eggs and agreed they were excellent, but the deviled eggs were top-notch. For entrees we had a brisket bennie, brisket hash, and fried chicken and biscuits. Everyone said their dish was the best dish. I had the fried chicken - just the right honey and heat, and the biscuits were fluffy, buttery heaven. We were stuffed but Jorge and Matt (one of the owners) dropped off a complimentary order of apple donuts with raspberry jam. I shouldn't be surprised but the chunks of real apple in the donuts - wow. I don't know how they serve food this good in a location this beautiful and such reasonable prices. I guarantee, though, we'll be back for dinner and be regular customers in the future.

About that $23 salad: The portion is a little skeet (that's an STL term - look it up) but the chicken was honestly juicy and flavorful as hell. And, the salad was full of very fresh spinach, and maybe other greens, as well as a good dressing. They provided a healthy amount of shaved Parmesan, which is my favorite. I would definitely order this again if I knew I was going to be around for a while and really wanted a salad. The vibe inside is so cute. This particular location is huge and there are various types of seating available. They have Wi-Fi, which is helpful., and some of their furniture is super comfy. It is the perfect place to connect or reconnect with a friend. I have never been much of a coffee shop, girl, but I could definitely see myself coming here multiple times a week. Service was good. I didn't interact with them much because all I did was order from a little QR code at my table and they dropped it off, but when observing them interacting with other customers, they seemed nice For the size of this place and people coming in and out, it was surprisingly clean, too. They have a $9 breakfast sandwich brunch special that's a pretty good deal - I got the lox and cream on a croissant with a poached egg. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a beautiful spring day in Northern Virginia, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed, the restaurant was busy without feeling crowded, and both the reservation process and check-in were seamless. One thing that stood out was the hospitality. Because of my wife's food allergies, Austin, the manager, personally stopped by our table to make sure her meal could be prepared safely and that she would be able to fully enjoy her experience. After walking through a few modifications, he ensured everything was handled with care. It was a thoughtful touch that demonstrated genuine concern for the guest experience. The food was excellent, but what made the visit memorable was the people. We ate well, shared plenty of laughs with our server, and genuinely enjoyed our time there. With the energy of Ballston just outside and the restaurant's beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in the spring sunshine, it was one of those lunches that reminds you why dining out can still feel special. We'll definitely be back.

All of the ingredients were out in display so you can actually see your salad options. The place was simple and clean. We ended up trying the BBQ Chicken Salad with a slice of bread. The salad is packed in a bowl with a lid. That bowl was surprisingly heavy. It was completely stuffed! There was just enough dressing to cover everything without being too much. And, the salad was pretty good. The price was very much on the expensive side, so that would probably deter us from going there over and over. But, a good place to have every now and then.

When I recently saw the wraps being advertised outside the restaurant in Pentagon City, VA, I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. I ordered the Chicken Jalapeño Ranch wrap, and it seemed to be packed with rice rather than fresh vegetables. The wrap was overwhelmingly carb-heavy, with very little of the fresh produce I expected. In fact, there was no cabbage at all, despite it being listed as an ingredient. For a restaurant called Sweetgreen, I expected a much better balance of greens and vegetables. Instead, the wrap felt more like a rice wrap than a fresh, healthy meal.
