If I could give 0 stars, I would for disrespect, awful service, and unprofessional conduct. I was…read morereally looking forward to trying Pelicana Chicken, but this was honestly one of the rudest and WORST dining experiences I've ever had. :( What made it extremely disappointing was the service. Our waitress (who was short, had dyed hair, and wore glasses) messed up our order THREE SEPARATE TIMES. Mistakes happen, I get it, but how it was handled was completely unacceptable. We ordered rose tteokbokki (which was very bland, by the way), cheese balls, a half order of padak (which was missing the main ingredient aka green onions), and a half order of hot spicy sweet chicken with hot spicy sweet sauce on the side rather than on the chicken (but the sauce wasn't on the side). We were able to ask to send the incorrectly made items back to the kitchen, but within a minute, the waitress came back SLAMMING the wrong order back down on the table. Instead of simply fixing her mistakes, she doubled down and started gaslighting my friends, insisting that this was exactly what we ordered. We tried to explain, but she just kept cutting us off, rolling her eyes, and even went as far as to completely ignore us for the rest of the meal. When we needed the bill, we had to get up and ask for it ourselves... only to find out we were charged for food we never received. The way she spoke to us was so disrespectful, I was honestly shocked! The name on my receipt shows "Misheel", whether this was the waitress, manager, or someone else, disciplinary action is definitely needed. This experience was way too upsetting not to share. Save your money and go somewhere else.

We asked if it could be fixed and I was prepared to make the drive back...but instead they just put us on hold and never answered. When we called back, we were left on hold again. If this happens to seated diners, I guess I can't be surprised it would happen over the phone. Many other options around or within a short driving distance as well. Enjoy...

Morak has quickly become one of my favorite Korean restaurants. The food is consistently delicious,…read moreportions are generous, and the quality is outstanding--you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered the king donkatsu, Gimmari, Tteokbokki, and Fish Cake Soup, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Gimmari was surprisingly huge. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Next time, I'm coming back for the stone pot bibimbap and kimbap. I saw a table of non-Korean customers enjoying them cutting the kimbap like steak and eating the hot stone bibimbap with forks and they still cleaned their plates despite the huge portions That said it all. My only "complaint" is that the king donkatsu is so huge it takes forever to cut it into pieces... but that's definitely a good problem to have! Highly recommend Morak for authentic Korean food, great portions, and friendly service!

The Food: I had their Spicy Tuna Kimbap, Spicy Pork Belly over Rice and their King Donkatsu. Everything tasted amazing. The Kimbap was proportionally generous and the spicy tuna was on point with the spice level. The Spicy Pork over rice was easily one of my favorites here. The spicy marinade on the pork was flavorful and the meat itself was tender and cooked just right. As for the Donkatsu, it was absolutely huge! A big piece of pork cutlet fried nicely let me in a food coma. The Service: Service was great. I ordered at the kiosk to see pictures of some of the food items, but you can order at the front as well. Food came out within a reasonable of time as well. They have a area for utensils/water and another area for you to bring your dirty plates after you're done, so that was nice. The Atmosphere: Spacious with plenty of seating. It pretty clean inside decorated with Asia/Kpop decor.

Ambiance with their music was up beat and energetic, even if no one was there when I was. Seems…read morewhen I was there most business was takeout/pickup. As I am always in search of crunchy, juicy chicken, I was hopeful I found another place I would like to frequent. I wanted the plain chicken to first experience the true essence of their fried chicken. But the guy helping me convinced me the garlic soy chicken was the most popular. Since he confirmed it is just done by putting the sauce on the chicken, having the sauce on the side gave me both options---the basic and I can dip it in the sauce to experience this so popular garlic soy chicken. I, like others, took it to go. The chicken was good, but not the best for me since it had a bit of a spicy kick which I did not appreciate. The daikon and rice (had to order it separately for $2??) helped balance out the spiciness. So that is not ideal in my mind. Though not on the menu, their funnel fries with Nutella sauce was recommended for a special treat. I figured why not? I think it was the best part of what I got (no spice at all ). The guy taking my order was very helpful but definitely not bubbly or engaging at all. However, no biggie in the end, it is about the food, but the experience is part of the larger picture too.
