Majority of reviews are negative for this location, I've had bad experiences at this McDonald's during dinner hours, but I went for breakfast this morning and Wendy at the first window taking our orders was very pleasant and cheery. The drive through at this McDonalds in unbelievable. They can never get the speaker thing right. They will do 2 on one side so it makes the flow terrible. I refuse to even try to go there anymore. All I can say is good luck with getting the correct order. Went there and ordered a Filet-O-Fish meal but only receive the sandwich and no drink or fries the young men they had at both windows seem like they couldn't get orders right the first window asked me what I order I repeated it to him and then the young man at the second window he handed me someone else drink then I told him I didn't order this in which I hope he poured that drink out and not handed it to someone else after I came in contact with it just for safety reasons. But back to the fish meal the lady we spoke to over the outside lane intercom my wife said a Diet Coke large and we never received it so we went to Dairy Queen next door and they got our order right. read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Me, my husband, our 2 year old and nephew was out having a good time and stopped in here to eat. We didn't order much at all and it was empty, even the drive thru. We ordered 3 lg fries and 3 small burgers it took 30 mins to get our food. Then when the lady brought it out the fries were cold, hard and just nasty my son choked on one or was so hard I asked for new ones and those took a long time too, also went to get my sweet tea and it didn't have a grain of sugar in it. This location never ceases to amaze me with their incompetence. Used the app to do a curbside pickup to make customized order a little easier. The custom ordering was ignored and they forgot a 10-piece nugget. EVERY other fast food place in or around O'Fallon can get it right except for this horribly run location. Nashville and Freeburg make McD's taste like gourmet meal compared to this travesty. Owner should really do something, but won't because it's always been like this. This is the only place where you wait in the drive thru a total of 20 minutes to get absolutely cold food. I got a quarter pounder with no onion or ketchup, had to pull up wait and all of it is cold. If I did my job that way I would be fired. Why not want to give people good things! why not want to TRY and management is allowing this to happen, shame on you! Well..... let's do this. First things first. I work down the street from this Mc Donald's. I have had to use this for my Mac D's fix. But do to how utterly crappy the service is I have had to give up on McDonalds. Well then I had to go and get some food. And again the service just flat out sucked. I get there at 9:35 am. I waited and placed my order in the drive through. They took my order at 9:39. I paid and then was instructed to pull forward and wait. In this course I watch numerous cars pull off with their food. I was told I was waiting on a Egg White Delight. So now after a wait a young lady walks up and try's to shove into my car a small bag. I looked at her and asked is that my five items? Of course she said yes! Yes! And I kept saying no. No! There could not be five things in that bag. So with a huff and puff the spoiled ass millennial scampers off to check the car behind me. Then the manager walked out walked around for a few min. Only to walk back in. No. Hey this car has been sitting for ten minutes what's going on? So after another 5 min I decided enough is enough and just as I was exiting the car they manager showed up with the bag. Now logic would tell me to check the bag. But I figured. Nah it's been ten min I'm sure they got my order right. HELL NO IT WASNT RIGHT! The damn lazy arses didn't check the order and shorted me. When I got to my work I attempted to call. I was placed on hold for 15 min! I finally hung the phone up. Shame on me for knowing this Mc Donald's crap and still go. So if you read this take my warning. It's crap. Your going to wait and wait. The food will be screwed up. Why? Oooh I don't know. Maybe they are waiting for the 15 dollar an hour raise. But I'm sure even at 15 an hour this store will still know how to screw it all up. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star. Couldn't get waited on and there was only one in front of me that had already ordered. Looked to be 3-4 employees and they were all over the place moving slowly. Decided to leave and go through drive through, NO, there were eight cars and no one was moving. Went home hungry. The time Before this I went through the drive thru and it took 1/2 an hour. I'll drive an extra 5 miles next time to go to a different one. read more

ive gone here before and i hated the service and food was nasty! i tried it again to see if it changed and it hasnt, they were very disrespectful and rude to me in the drive thru and the window and my burritos were HARD and dry and tasteless. im very disappointed in this place. and i did go around 11pm cause i got done with work and i get it it sucks working late, i work at a fast food place as well, but the restaurant i work at would never tolerate this service. no matter how tired or late it is treat every customer with respect and i didnt get that here. read more

the drive thru girls are typically incredibly rude. they don't know how to take an order or speak to anybody with manners. they'll let you sit at the speaker without responding at all. makayla was very nice though, she made sure I got my drink carrier and had a great attitude! read more

The staff has always been courteous and helpful when we go. They get our order right most of the time. (You have to have reasonable expectations from fast food places.) We like to sit in the seat by the fireplace on chilly days or on the chairs that spin from side to side. Lately the happy meal toy display has not been maintained to let us know what toy to expect. I wish there were a play place and a step stool in the bathroom. read more

This McDonalds location is one of the worst drive thru restaurants of all time. It takes a least five minutes just to get a drink. It does not matter if the order is for a drink only or also food, the wait time is absolutely way too long. It usually takes the person taking the order at least three to five minutes just to acknowledge that your car has pulled up. I will not go back here anymore. Today they were out of Diet Coke. How does that happen at a McDonalds? Poor management and employee training!! Until people quit spending their money there, thinks will not change. If there was an option for 0 stars. That's what I'd give them. Maybe even a negative number. I've been here twice. And both times were the most horrible experience I have encountered. One time I ordered two ice cream cones. And they handed them to my dripping like they had been sitting there. The second time I ordered a 20 piece chicken nugget meal and 2 large sweet teas. They tried giving me one sweet tea. And one large unsweet tea. i got to the first window and they didn't have my other sweet tea. So I asked them to add it. And he added a medium unsweetened tea. I began to ask the lady at the second window to fix it. And she gave me attitude and was rude. and not only was she rude. But she tried To give me a smaller tea than I asked for. But the smaller one wasn't even filled all the way due to the fact that she was already using the last of the tea for my first tea. this is the worst mcdonalds I have went to. I would way rather drive 15 minutes out of my way to get to the next McDonald's than to go back to this one that is located 3 minutes from my house. read more

Somehow this McDonald's does not seem to know its own products. The 6 piece nuggets is part of the mighty kids meal ($3.99). And that comes with small fries (cardboard bag). Here they always give you kids fries (paper bag), which are supposed to come with the happy meals ($2.99). It's not a big deal but over the years we consumers lose out a lot. read more

My orders are always wrong, and the place is gross. On top of that, the employees are rude and don't seem like they want to do their job. I've worked at McDonalds before, and while it's not ideal, an employee should not talk to a customer the way these people do. I went to my local McDonald's drive-thru today. I ordered an Egg McMuffin and a Hash Brown. The Egg McMuffin didn't have Canadian bacon on it and they forgot to include the hash brown. I repeated my order back to the window person but it didn't faze her. On top of all that, my sandwich was cold! Of course, I didn't realize any of that until I got home! Boy, was I disappointed! Last Saturday my wife and two kids went through McDonald's drive thru. What a night mare. Its anything but fast food. My wife and kids get home and my son loves the breakfast burritos. Anyway sure is sh-- no breakfast burrito's. We got one chicken wrap. Going thru the drive thru is really a joke. They put all this money in remodeling with 2 lanes. That place can't handle one lane. Today the kids wanted a happy meal. Is soon as they said that I was trying to talk them into DQ right next door. No go! Anyway you pull up to make your order and you are put on hold, which is no big deal. It didn't take long and she asked what I wanted. I ordered two breakfast burritos, one hash brown, one chocolate milk, one happy meal and one #8 which is chicken strip value meal. Out of chicken strips so I got the 10 piece chicken nuggets. I told them all the drinks I needed and when I got to the last large drink, she interrupted and asked if she was right on a small sprite for the happy meal, then forgot about the large ice tea. well it was a good thing she remembered. she just put coke in it and not a one of us drink regular coke. She asked me twice about the sauces for the burritos and I told her yes. She asked about the sauces for the nuggets for the happy meal and the 10 piece nuggets. I told her one BBQ and one Ranch. Got up to the window to pay, asked how you doing. Just as I do with everyone I come in contact with. She looks right at me and took the $20 and gave me the change back, and once again just as my mom has always taught me to say thank you. She looked right at me like it was a bother to wait on me. After 17 minutes in line they tell me to pull up to the white line and they will bring it out as soon as its done. It was only maybe 3 or 4 minutes she brings it out and said thanks. I looked in the bag and seen the chicken, two burritos and fries as well as the happy meal. DAMN they got it right after 20 minutes. Got home, started getting the kids set up to eat and the 6 year old wants to no where her ranch is. Then all of a sudden the 9 year old asked where his burrito sauce is. I was pissed. Then the 9 year old took a bite of the burrito and asked me for a napkin. I told him to get one out of the bag. Ya right! Lucky we had straws. you know these aint know high school kids working there. They are older then that. And these people want $15 a hour. Seriously this whole world is going to shit and I blame are court system & politicians. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, I finally get to the speaker, and I am cut off and asked to wait. After another 5 minutes with an impatient toddler in the car, the vehicle in the next lane (who pulled up well after me) starts to order. My response was " are you serious? They get to order before us?" I was rudely told that the manager had to fix something on her screen and it would be another minute. Had she been the least bit polite I would not have been nearly as upset, but I let her know that I really didn't appreciate waiting for 15 minutes only to have someone who just pulled up get to order first. I was then told that if I was going to be rude that I could leave. I told her that she can't talk to me that way and she responded with " you got to give respect to get it" I have worked in customer service for 23 years and NEVER would I think it is ok to actually speak that way to a customer. The manager was no better. Unapologetic and actually defended the crew member saying it's ok for her to tell me to leave. Someone who chooses to spend their money at your business automatically gets your respect. They don't have to earn it. It's called customer service! The Hardee's employee across the street sadly knew exactly who I was referring to when I mentioned how rudely I had been treated. Lack of customer service skills is EXACTLY why I will NEVER choose to spend my hard-earned money at that location again! read more
