For starters, I would historically have rated this McDs as one of the worst McDs in the country. Service was always crappy, workers were never friendly, orders were ALWAYS wrong, and the food was suspect. Regardless of the continual feedback I provided, nothing ever improved. That said, I hadn't been to this McDonald's in a very long time, I've been twice in the past two days to get a burrito using a 40% off deal in the app. It's just a small sampling size, but in both instances the service was fast, staff was mostly friendly, and the food was fresh and hot. A filthy inside with dirty tables and chairs, a disgusting kiosk, and a soda fountain area that looks like it's straight out of tornado alley. The OFallon Mickeys seems to be always busy even at 3 pm when you have missed a lunch break and are really feeling hungry. Based on my in-person visit: Drive-thru lanes were both full, but the parking lot was near empty. So I decide to go in. I order and came back and made sure my fries were fresh with no salt. I check my fries and they were tasted fresh and saltless. I'm giving this place 4-stars for the main reason of the manager coming up to me to make sure my meal AND fries were to satisfaction. The only down side: the toilet paper wasn't on a roll and the floors (lobby and bathroom) were sticky. Might be that the cleaning solution isn't mixing right. Other than that it's fine. read more

We sat in the drive through for 35 minutes because of two reasons: People in this town obviously have no idea how to use the two drive through lane system. Watch the lane next to you. If they finish before you, they go in front of you and vice versa. I got to watch two idiots debate over who went first and it held up the line. Come on people, it's not rocket science. I've been here multiple times before and it was fine. I recently went again and the way it was just disgusted me and I was annoyed. First of all, every table was dirty, filled with food and trash. Nobody answered, so I drove around and went to the first one. A little girl came over the speaker and said they were closed. Then proceeded to say, "we close at 11, but we not taking orders anymore". We only do breakfast at McDs and only when traveling. We passed Starbucks and hesitated and decided to go on to McDs. As most of the reviews were whiny complaints about no toilet paper and mixed up orders we thought we would go inside. It was 7:39 AM and the line was moderately long about 6 cars. We got to the door and it was locked. The sign on the door said it should have opened at 7AM????? I'm assuming that this was because of staff shortages. We left and went to Starbucks. If corporate would raise pay a lot, raise prices a little and lower shareholders dividends and executive salaries maybe McDs could function more successfully. We just had the most horrible experience at this location. Waited five minutes just to place our order with no cars ahead of us. Pulled up to the first window to be asked what we ordered.
