Nice store. Looks new and the interior is an odd (for a fast food hamburgler joint) mix of Swedish modern design and advertising. It is certainly visually appealing and we were comfy as we ate. Flat-screen teevees viewable from most seats provided constant updates about the weather and news. On to the food. I ordered a Big Mac and a McDouble (pics posted). This was my first time having a McDouble ($0.99), and it is nothing more than a double cheeseburger ($1.29 at this location, $1.69 at the McDoodles up here in Milton), less a slice of cheese. I appreciate the honesty! A double cheeseburger features two hamburger patties and two slices of cheese, by definition. See? "Double" comes immediately before "cheese" in the name. Unlike Waffle Houses and the Varsity in ATL, Mickey D's doesn't treat its diners like dupes and pass off a cheese double burger as a double cheeseburger. /rant Anyway. The McDouble was juicy and delicious. The Big Mac ($3.79, by itself), on the other hand, was a big bundle of fail. I opened the box and the sammitch looked like the staff had played kickball with it. One poorly-placed pickle slice on the whole thing, and maybe a scant teaspoon of the legendary special snauce. WTF, over? The patties were dry and tasteless, as were the buns...more so than usual. I was famished from hiking at Big Lagoon State Park and needed the grub, so I ate the damned nasty thing, but I wasn't happy about it at all. Pfft. Both Coke and Pepsi fountain products, self-serve. That came in handy when it came to choking down my dry-as-the-Sahara Big Mac, so I availed myself of approximately 4 gallons of Diet Coke. No Coke Zero available. Horrors! Trash that disgusting Pepsi crap and make room for my preferred quaff, MuckDonald's! Friendly staff, as far as I could tell. It was just me and my friend at the counter, and he ordered first and paid. He moved away to fill up his cup, which left me alone at the counter. The young girl said--rather loudly--"I can help the next customer!" It looked around and there wasn't a soul around. Durr dur durrrr! I can understand the utility of having a script for uniform and satisfactory service, but a bit of common sense would be nice. I felt like a cog on a gear in a vast and uncaring machine. tl;dr: A newer and nice McD's, with good-enough service and vittles. You know what you're going to get and you always get what you pay for. Just here to heap on the one-star reviews. Ordered thru the app, correct location, verified, checked-in when I parked. Walked in, used the restroom, and the young man busy checking his phone just shrugged and said we don't have your order. Already been charged. App said the order was ready. Young man could care less. Confirmed the location. Left, since I was on my way to a meeting and had no more time to waste. Already been charged, so I could not cancel in the app. Called the restaurant with the number in the app, and it was disconnected. Filed a report with McD corp on their website, and they emailed with a case number and said the sent it to the owner/operator. Two weeks pass. Not a peep. Contact corporate, and they said they auto-closed the case after sending it to the invisible, uncontactable person running this clown show. The amount of money is insignificant, but I reversed the charge on my credit card on principle. And, here is my review warning others to please go to any other McD you can and avoid this one. Bad. Bad. Bad. Big backup at both drive they lanes when I drive up and some trashy girl coming in the wrong way blocking the exit. I waited five minutes and nothing moved. I then went inside to see if it would be faster. Probably a dozen disgruntled folks standing around. The manager was on the phone at the cash register talking loudly to someone. She said she needed to refund someone $20 because they had been waiting fifteen minutes and wanted to go; and she wasn't going to pay that out of her pocket. (Umm we can hear you and you sound like an angry Karen) Nice to hear that I guess. So nice to know that customer service comes first and that customers (and professionalism) are appreciated....that was sarcasm. So while I'm standing there some construction guys walked in and stood in front of me so I left. The drive through still had not moved, the trashy girl was still blocking the exit and I was just mad enough to blow the horn and make her move out of the way. There's bad days when things don't go well and then there's absolute incompetence and your business implodes..... So I drove five minutes, pulled up to a different drive thru, pulled to the window, handed my money and took the bag of food with my change... all In Less time than to order at that other looney bin. But worse, the workers have a bad case of IDGAF! Orders are wrong, food is missing, burger patties cooked so long they are completely dried out, drinks are wrong, happy meal is missing half of the stuff, always out of toys for the happy meals. One star is generous. The owner of this establishment must be a slum lord of sorts. The amount of complaints and no action taken. They know they have the market cornered in this area. So they treat it as such. "Some" of the staff are great the others. Well it's pretty clear you don't know if you should eat the food you ordered or not. God help if you comment on the amount of salt on the fries or question why you are getting a large fry with only the amount of a medium! And getting an attitude when asked to replace them. When you order make sure they are actually listening to your order request. Specifically asked for no onions. Got to the window the staff repeated my order...incorrect. I really want them to get it right and do well. I keep trying but it's never correct. Ordered 3 combos tonight . They asked me to move forward which is fine, before leaving the window I asked if they would please include ketchup in the bag. The 1/4 pounder deluxe meal had none of the items that make it a Felix. no lettuce, no tomatoes. container it was in had the paper taped to it that clearly said Delux. it was just a regular plain cheeseburger. Regular coke was marked as a Diet Coke. No receipt which my daughter likes to use to add points on her ap. we drove around and parked so she could run in and get the receipt and some ketchup. she said it looked like the last 30 people didn't get receipts but they found ours. Of course no ketchup in the bags. No one answers the phone if you call the phone number on the receipt. If no one lets them know about mistakes, then they won't know they need to try better. read more

I was the 2nd car in line with 2 waiting in the App slots. It's 5:25 pm I placed my order Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, 40 piece nugget, 2 large fries and a sprite. They move the person in front of me to the 3rd window....yes they have a 3rd window. It's not to fix the mistakes, it's where they hand out most of the mistakes. So I pull up and a nice lady comes to the window and I pay....she doesn't hand me the Sprite with my card...no biggie I'll get it in a minute. She walks off, then about 6 minutes later comes back to ask me to pull over to slot 6..oh damn someone's already there...who's that? Do not waste your money here or try to work here. Most of the employees are not fully trained especially service people. Which is why it takes so long for or to go through you got one person taking orders most of the time with two lanes. Previous GM was stealing money from crew members not only teenagers but adults especially. Now with the new GM they're treating everybody like garbage even more. They're nice to you at first but after you've been there a while they start to treat you really bad if you mess up on petty stuff. They want you to work yourself to death just to be treated like you don't matter as well the new GM smokes weed with his managers. Forces managers to pay refunds and their whole training process is a joke. Every manager trains crew members differently so they're getting taught the stuff they're supposed to and not supposed to. As well they discriminate against people with disabilities working there. They absolutely do not care about customers or their own employees all they care about is money. Worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. They screw up my order every time and then they are rude about it. The iced coffee has either hot coffee in it instead of the cold brew or iced tea in it and they don't seem to care. On more than one occasion they replace the Canadian bacon on their egg McMuffin with bacon without asking if it's okay or telling you. Eat at your own risk. They don't change their oil. Here's how to tell if the oil is fresh: Take the fried item & press between a white napkin, kleenex or paper towel. The volor of the oil should be clear. If you see any color, the oil is old. Don't eat the fried food & certainly don't feed to your kids. read more

I am a snowbird and I visited this McDonalds about six months out of the year. until about 6 weeks ago I had only utilized the drive thru. went to the drive thru as usual and my order was all wrong-more so than usual. The drive thru ALWAYS has a 12-15 minute wait and I didn't want to make customers behind me wait so I parked and went inside. The store was absolutely FILTHY. Bugs on the counter, street clothes, the person that I found out later was the manager, was wearing a disgusting long sleeved white T-shirt. I asked why the kid running for the drive thru was wearing a dirty coat with his hood on. The manager said "Because he is cold ". The worst experience was explaining my experience to the corporation. The staff has ALWAYS been extra friendly and although this location is experiencing the same staffing challenges that the entire service industry is, I've never had a major order issue or unreasonable wait time. Dirty tables, slow lines, incorrect orders, all true. However the one comment about checking the oil, was, well, silly. Oil is rarely clear, unless you got the first few items cooked in it, or they change it after every order. This location rivals the on up on 9th and Creighton for the worst overall, but they all pretty much suck. read more

This is the worst McDonalds around. We have visited a few times and I am a reasonable person so I know some places and teams have their off days so I let it slide until today. They are always out of something or they get the order wrong. The employees are sweet and apologetic but I can tell that this place has leadership and management issues. The McDonald's on 98 and Blue Angel is always on point and extremely clean and organized. This is the closest to our house but we will not be coming back. I don't typically leave reviews....people make mistakes. However, today I ordered two double cheeseburgers, two medium fries and a large coke easy Ice. Simple. The drive through cashier was so rude. She repeated my order. It was right. The second window I confirmed again and my bad, didn't check the bag. No second burger. Thanks McDonald's on Sorrento! You won again!
