For being in Pewaukee you would this this location wouldn't be quite so bad, but it is. The burgers are just thrown together, the orders are seldomly correct. the soda is almost always flat, i don't think i've ever had "fresh" or should i say hot fries from this location. you either get hardly any sauce on your sandwich or enough sauce for the next 6 months. read more

McDonalds Review McDonalds on Ryan Street in Pewaukee, Wisconsin is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. There are three main details that set it apart from most other fast food restaurants. The first thing is the employees. The workers at McDonalds are lazy, rude, and don't like doing there job. This Mcdonalds is also very dirty and small and can not hold many customers and it is in a terrible location. You should not come to this McDonalds because the workers are bad, the McDonalds is hidden, and it is very small and dirty. The workers at this McDonalds are terrible. When you walk up to order your food you will not be greeted with a hello, the worker won't make eye contact with you or say a word. You order your food and they will not say a word. They often don't listen and will not get you what you ordered and it will take a long time to get your food. The food is normally cold by the time you get it. The drive through is also very bad. You pull up to the drive through and the workers will wait for you to talk instead of saying hello. The line for the drive through took over 30 minutes last time I was there and there was about five or six other cars. This McDonalds is also very small and dirty. The workers don't clean it but also there are things like the tiles on the floor falling apart and the paint chipped off the walls. There is only one bathroom and it is small and dirty and both genders share it. The machines are also old and broken like the ice cream machine. I used to go to that McDonalds after school last year and try to get ice cream but the machine was always broken and never was working. The McDonalds didn't bother to get a new one and just left the old one in which wasted a lot of space. The tables were always dirty and there were only a few tables in there that could seat about 15 people total. The third reason this McDonalds is terrible is the location. The location of this McDonalds is very hidden by numerous buildings. There are no signs on the highway to direct people to the McDonalds. This location of McDonalds is hard to find and should be relocated to a spot where it can be seen more. Terrible experience, if I could give it 0 starts I would. My order was completely wrong, the manager was a real piece of work when I called to complain. She denied taking the order herself, it was a slow time and I was the only one there. She denied that the order was wrong and demanded that I come back. I had to wait for my order yet nothing was fresh so not exactly sure what i was waiting for. All she could say when I told her I wouldn't come back is bring your receipt back next time and hung up on me. Now I understand this is McDonalds however it was the point that there was nobody there and they still couldn't get my order right and then when I called back how I was treated. The morning manager of this McDonalds need to go back to training. The place was run with immature kids. In the drive-through I asked for hamburgers at 10am and the smart-Alex (Alice?) on the intercom said "OK you'll have to wait about an hour for those." I said "why?" and she said, "because we don't make those until then". OK I get it, lunch menu doesn't start until 11am but that's all she had to say - I didn't come here to be mocked. So I changed my order to breakfast sandwiches and then when I got to the window, I saw what looked like a zoo of kids laughing and yelling at each other in the kitchen. Then I was told to pull up and wait. Waiting for about 5 minutes isn't the problem, it's when another kid came out with them and handed them to me without saying a word - not a "thank you for your order" or "sorry for the wait". Just shoved it in my car and started to walk away. I stared him down and he looked at me with a "what?" expression, to which I said, "You're welcome". 5 years ago, this place was awesome. Great service and food that was tasty. However, they are very poor with fulfilling your order and you have to triple check to make sure they gave you everything that you ordered. Mistakes happen, but not 4 times in 5 visits. read more

The manager Carrie was extremely rude and was making rude comments at me and my friends. When we ask to give us a minute to look at the menu she reasoned with a poor attitude ruining the whole experience. At the window we were getting our cash together and she said is that going to take 5 minuets too with a ignorant tone. Ok,it's only McDonalds so the labor pool is pretty shallow. The employee who took my order didn't acknowledge me or ask how he could help me. He had a drink on the back counter he took a sip from before coming to the register to take my order. He had no identifying McDonalds attire on, he was wearing a faded hoodie, not even a McD hat. As I was handing him my money he figured it was time to dig his finger into his ear. His coworker decided to get my coffee. She dragged my cup through the ice bin for my light ice coffee. He sarcastically said thank you, you saved me from getting a coffee...or something to that nature. Obviously a franchise location corporate stores seem to be run a bit better. These blatant health code violations in such a limited interaction scare me to think whats in the back room. I'm sure this clown is hoping for $15/hr minimum wage...problem is once there is a $15 minimum wage he'll be unemployable. read more

Slowest drive thru ever! Took us 20 minutes to get one cheeseburger and 2 waters. When I asked what the hold up was, the girl at the window said not enough help. I went to this McDonald's to give it a try after receiving burnt inedible food last time. I used my coupon for free extra value meal and bought a grilled chicken breat sandwich for my mom. I brought it home and the bun was burned and the chicken was burned with the burned bottom put on the bottom of bun as if hiding it was burned. My heart sank as this was for my mom. The French fries were old and gross. I work hard for my money and was very disappointed in my dinner restaurant choice yet again. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager and yes I get apologies each time but I am tired of the apologies what I would like is the issues changed and taken care of by the manager, and staff as this issue has not changed. I have one coupon left from my last complaint and will not even use it at the Pewaukee address on Capitol Drive and so I am out that money as I can't use it but there. I told the manager I will not visit this McDonald's ever again. Once ok could have a bad day, but 3-5 times, all the time shame on you and your staff. As far as I am concerned close this restaurant, or fire all staff and start over. I requested my refund in a check sent to me upon which the manager says, "says, 'I'll see what my boss says, hey guy you need to take my name and address to send me the refund, I do not want a coupon. Also, he says, "this should not happen sorry that it did to you." No kidding this should not be happening and shouldn't happen. So, I will not be using the last coupon as I will not go to that restaurant and I can only go there and will not risk it you know getting my food burnt and inedible. I will not try it again.
