We ordered a large fries and a 4 piece chicken nugget with ranch and bbq through the app. When we went through the drive through they too our number and gave us our receipt. When we pulled up to the drive through window to collect our food they had us park in a spot and we had to wait for a lady to walk out the order which seemed odd for such a small order. This seemed to slow things down as one lady walked back and forth from the window across the street to the parking lot. When we got our fries the top ones were cold and they could have used more sauce. This parking lot is also very narrow and crowded with lots of cars parking all over the place since they didn't have traditional drive through service. Do yourself a favor and just park in the mobile ordering spot and skip the drive through. Ambiance was frustrating. read more

My husband and I went through the drive-thru at this location to order food. When we asked for our receipt while paying, the female employee ignored us, closed the window, and stood there with a visibly unpleasant expression while acting as if we weren't there. This was extremely unprofessional !!! Unfortunately, this is not the first time we've had an issue with this same employee. Customer service should be basic, especially in a drive-thru setting. This place is very chaotic but it is convenient if your looking for a refreshing drink before starting the chaotic drive on one of the most dangerous highways in America I-4 between Tampa and Orlando, so it's somewhat fitting in a morbid kind of way. Maneuvering or parking here is atrocious and has a lot of the elements we all hate about I-4 this is really a strange link almost paranormal like (pertaining to the claimed occurrence of an event or perception without scientific explanation) but somehow you'll survive the arrival and your departure if you pay attention to your surrounds - it's a total cluster. Although this location is being punished by most it does have a few positives by default and for me that lies in the frozen drink category: Frozen Fanta® Wild Cherry: so refreshing, so delicious and although it's not the best value it delivers (why can't I super-size this one). This is one treat that is definitely sold by volume and not weight - I'm sure if you let the entire portion melt completely it will struggle to fill the vessel 2/3's full. I ordered a medium coke and the worker at the window handed me a small. I told her that I had ordered a medium and asked "isn't that a small?" And she told me no. We ordered happy meal and lady in the window said to go park at spot#2 and wait for happy meal. Well they been doing well except on consistency. I go there between 3:45 AM to 3:55 AM. One day no food, one day closed, one day cash only, one day breakfast only,or lunch only. This last time I went there, they were closed road sign on no warning. I got off interstate on my way to pick up my son in law to take him to work. They were closed. I took my son in law to work and came by an hour later. The said this is new the employee held out a big chip holder the customers just used in from of me. The employee was not wearing a mask or gloves. The chip reader wasn't sanitized either. Then the employee started yelling at me. I'm really surprised by all of the one star reviews for this location. I had a great experience and I made sure that I told them that. I stopped by here on my way to Lakeland. The bathroom had just been mopped and the dining area was very clean. I haven't eaten inside a McDonald's in probably 5 years so I've never used one of their order kiosks. It was pretty intuitive. I didn't order anything complicated. My breakfast was brought over to me quickly. I think this location is great if you're traveling on the freeway and need to make a stop. At 20 minutes, I asked a young man where's our food and got no answer. He looked at me and walked away. I then said excuse me, are you going to answer me and said something like don't just walk away. That's when the manger came up and told me not to talk to her employees that way. I wouldn't have to talk to him that way if he'd answer me to where our food was. No matter how many people complain about wrong orders, 30-40 minute wait times, no manager ever visible and terrible attitudes from employees, they will not and don't need to change. They know we will always come back. The only thing that will change this location in a positive way is for a chick-fil-a to open anywhere within 2 miles. This McDonalds needs some experienced staff to go in and help out the employees. I ordered a fudge sundae and the employee had no idea where a spoon would be. Which honestly is fine, since maybe he was new. But if he's training, then why was nobody helping him at the window? He finally hands us a spoon, but it's OPENED. The spoon bag is clearly opened and the spoon is even sticking out partially exposed to who knows what. This is a major sanitary issue. Decided to hop off the interstate on the way to Tampa thinking it would be a quick stop at the drive-thru. Wrong! Even though it's just off of I-4, it's a pain the butt to get to. The road has a good deal of traffic and there are U-Turns involved which is never quick or fun. The drive-thru is hellishly slow. There are two different drive-thru lanes and the people in them have no concept of who is to go next which just leaves people cutting each other off left and right. The food was not hot and it was haphazardly put together. There must have been about two - three tablespoons of ketchup on my burger. Yuck. No napkins in the bag. So, messy food with no napkins. Lovely. Neither of the people at either of the drive-thru windows smiled or even so much as said one word. What I thought would be a quick 10 minute stopped turned into a more than a half hour ordeal. Seriously... it took more than 30 minutes just to get food from the drive-thru of a FAST FOOD joint. Literally the worst mcdonalds I've been to. Showed up here at 9:20pm to get a happy meal for my child. Stuck in drive thru until 10:00pm, when I got to the window the girl taking payment was on speaker phone with her boyfriend, then when we were waiting another 10 minutes for a 4 piece happy meal the manager and 2 other employees were running around in the front with guest. Slow I waited 15 minutes just to get out of line. And you are asking how is that. After watching the line not budge for 5 minutes I decided it would be best to go somewhere a little less busy. So as anyone that has been to McDonal's knows they have a dual line. I anticipate that the line is to be single until you reach the fork. Unfortunately people don't see it that way and often pull a dual line all the way to the menu. So after the 5 minute wait I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the two cars in front of me to move forward so I could slip out the back. Nasty cold food after waiting 15 minutes in the drive-thru with two cars in front of us and the inside dining closed. Apparently they have a switch over to 'cash only orders' and it slows operations down because they have to do everything manually. Not quite sure how that affects food preparation. Service was about as cold as the food. No real greeting over the intercom nor at the window. Although when I called to address the issue, after we had already left, Brittany (the manager) said she would comp our meal on our next visit.
