Not only do the workers know my order by heart, but sometimes I don't even have to say a word in the order box before they greet me by name and recite my order! The wait times are usually minimal at this location, and the drive thru flow is truly efficient. The staff members are always kind. They truly are the reason I get to start my mornings off on a positive note. We sat in line for 30 minutes and we watched the car in front of us get cut off by some lady thinking she was smart. She giggled and laughed at us. They took forever making a drink that I get everywhere, and even made the drink wrong. It was a chai and they put so much milk and took five minutes explaining nonsense. This starbucks location has 2.5 stars. They don't deserve the poor rating and reviews. Lets first mention that they are a free freestanding store with drive-through and mobile order options right off of I-4. They're nestled between a Marriott and a Hilton just behind a Wawa. Perfect spot for travelers to make a quick stop. I can only imagine the amount of traffic they get on any given day. Did I mention the store opens at 4:30am! My local SB isn't open that early not on a Sunday especially. Be kind, be patient and remember there are peak hours when the wait will be long. Can't recommend this location. Six employees and only two were working. Line of several people moved so slow cause the cashier wasn't getting help. The drinks were made right and the place was clean, but the struggle was real for the poor cashier who was doing it all. There were about 5 people in line and 3 more waiting for their drinks. Most of the employees were chatting among themselves and ignoring the line / customers, while 2 were pulling all the weight. I love this Starbucks and I've stopped here many times on my drives across Florida on I-4, it's located off of Exit 19 driving east. The extremely tall sign is just one of the many things I like about this location and when I spot it no matter the time day or night I'm stopping yes they are open 24 hours. How great is that? For me Starbucks is about the "product" so having to wait a little longer than normal is never an issue for me if my order is correct and if they correct any mistakes and stand by their customer service promise to make me a new one if there are issues. I look at this location like it's an oasis after driving for hours on I-4. The staff has always been friendly and has provided excellent service and delivers awesome drinks. Although there are several Starbucks locations around the country that are open 24 hours now, this location will always be the original "24 hour Starbucks" to me. Located conveniently right off of the I-4 at the Thonotosassa exit, this place is a must stop if you are making that typical trek from Orlando to Tampa or vice versa. Why, you ask? Well, because there is delicious coffee and tea, clean restrooms, and delectable pastries. Really, what more could you ask for? There is even a drive-thru for added convenience! The size of the Starbucks is ideal--room for casual seating and lounging, but not so huge that it's overcrowded and crazy. I think the drive-thru option helps prevent that. Also, the location right off of the I-4 (note the GIANT Starbucks sign over the highway), makes it easy to pull in and out of. I've never experienced any problems here, and also I associate it with roadtripping across Florida, so...5 stars! read more

Terrible experience. And it was incredibly obvious that the issue was poor management. Sat in line for over 20 minutes for three drinks. You could see workers running back-and-forth inside from the drive-through. Drinks were lined up on a countertop with no one at the drive-through to hand it out. At least three workers stopped by the window and just looked at the drinks, but no one would hand it to us as the car outside the window. Very strange and inefficient. This was my first time at this location and the bad customer service will make it my last On the morning of 10/25 around 10 am, I am headed to the airport and stop here after getting gas. I order a PSL. About 15 mins after driving off, my drink has cooled down enough for me to enjoy it. Unfortunately, it was coffee. And not tasty at all. I called the store back and asked to speak to a manager. When the manager got on the phone and heard of the mix up, she asked me to bring the drink back. I told her to put it back on my starbucks card, She then said that she would document that they'd made an error and i'd get a free drink. Problem-I don't live in that area. Sooo, let me preface this by saying I love me some Starbucks but this location is hit or miss and is probably one of the more difficult locations to maneuver in and out of. You are battling traffic from three different establishments and it's just dangerous. If you are ever in a hurry I definitely wouldn't take my chances because for some reason this location takes awhile to get your order done. Sometimes you appreciate the extra time and others it's like you leave wondering why it took so long for you to get something you didn't order. This is our second time here in two days. To best describe it layout wise, it's long and narrow. The whole layout of the prep and kitchen area is a lot different from any Starbucks I've been too. Yesterday, when we came at 10am, they were struggling to stay afloat with the massive drive thru lane and the line inside. We had ordered a bacon Gouda sandwich and were told after ordering that they didn't have any left. We had also ordered a warm plain croissant and when my niece bit into it, it was still frozen in the middle. So she was gifted a chocolate croissant to make up for it. Today, we ordered 2 bacon Gouda sandwiches, mocha, java chip Frappuccino, strawberry green tea & a passion fruit lemonade. They were quick and efficient and got everything right. I visited this Starbucks right off of I-4 this morning to relax with a good cup of coffee. It just opened up after renovations/remodeling. I actually liked it better before the renovations. The location is very convenient off of I-4, parking is limited and quite tight, I was not welcomed upon entering the shop, the employee was mildly friendly, I had to wait a couple of minutes at the ordering counter before any employee noticed me waiting to be served, my coffee was served hot and quickly, there was no Truvia to add to my coffee, the dining room was clean & tidy, seating was rather cramped and there were no comfortable chairs anywhere inside or outside of the place (very disappointing), there were VERY few electrical outlets, Wifi worked well, no music was playing, workers were working on various things in the dining area and serving area, and the men's restroom was basically clean. read more

So, I'm driving on Sunday afternoon heading from Tampa to Orlando, looking forward to a good jolt of Starbucks coffee to keep me awake. After waiting about a half an hour looking for a Starbucks sign, I see one for this location. I pulled into the lot, and it was pretty busy. I figured I could live with that, knowing that my local Starbucks moves pretty fast through the line. I was sorely mistaken. When I walked in, probably 15 people in line and virtually no one sitting down. After standing there for 10 minutes and not seeing any progress. Myself and a few others bailed. The person in front of me said they seemed more focused on serving the people in the window than people in the building. I walked over to McDonald's and got a couple of apple pies, coffee and was on my way. The people in front to me still had not been served. This is not typical of my experience with Starbucks.
