Sorry but if you're a McDonalds off the highway and people make a choice to get off the highway to eat there- giggling that your shake machine is "down" doesn't cut it. I live around here so this is my main McDonalds. Do. Not. Go. Here. Usually when I get to the menu area to place my order you have to ask for them. They will not ask for your order when you pull up, you ask them or you wait for who knows how long for them to realize you've pulled up. You ALWAYS have to repeat yourself twice even after saying it as clearly as humanly possible, and usually they're extremely short and rude. No one wears masks, and honestly 9 times out of 10 the hardy smell of weed comes pouring out of the windows when they open to receive your money. I don't care if you smoke/drink on your own time, but really? At work? And yes, I have waited at least 30 minutes for one hashbrown before. I just don't order add ons from them when I go to this McDonalds because I know its just too much to ask. I have never been to any other McDonalds like this. I tell anyone I know to not go here, or to simply go here to be blown away by the hilarity of it all. read more

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. As I pulled up to the first order box I was told just one moment please. Waited for three minutes. I know this because I put my stopwatch on my phone on. They are notoriously slow.Another car pulled up to the second order box. They place their order and pulled forward. A second car pulled up to the second order box. They place their order then pulled forward. I was still waiting to place my order. But instead of waiting I left. This same thing happened to me last week at the same exact McDonald's in Pontoon Beach. At least last week only one person ordered before me. So I drove to sonic in Edwardsville and was waited on and served in less than 30 seconds. They have a lot better ice anyway. read more

These are about the rudest people you could possibly come across. First I attempted to make my order, and was not greeted but by stares from a young female worker, who proceeded to walk slowly over to me and order me to order at the machines, that they wouldn't help me. When I asked her why she loudly said she didn't know, the manager yelled over they don't take money, I'd have to do the machine. I'm sauvy enough I didn't need help, so I ordered. Then, a guy worker complains several times about my girls being in the play center. He then gets the manager, who tells me the girls can't be in there, because water was coming in at Theo their end by the entrance. I get my girls, while trying to speak to the manager, Patricia, who is on the phone, she proceeds to yell at me and when I correct her and inform her I won't be spoken to and I'm not speaking to her any way, she makes statements of being grown too, which makes no sense. I take my girls, throw my dollR cheeseburger in the trash, and walk to the enclosed entrance to wait out the storm. Patricia "the manager", then continues to be on the phone loudly while walking about the eating area, were other customers are talking about the whole situation on the phone. To be honest, with their customer service skills, and attitude towards others and life, no wonder they work in McDonald's. I don eat at McDonalds, and I'm thankful of being reminded why. read more

This is the nastiest McDonald's that I've been in. There are bugs everywhere, there are flys darting at my head, fruit flies all over the ketchup dispenser, dirty tables, soda machines haven't been cleaned for a while, there are wet floor signs up on a dry but sticky and dirty floor, and to top it all off my fish filet bun was dry! If I could not give this McDonalds a star at all, that would be great. read more

Punk night manager accused me of being a drunk even though I live in st Louis. Called 4 times asking for a Corporate number and hung up on me. Last time said he would call pontoon PD. What a McDonald's, they got new Khios and they Should call them Chaos, all that does is jam up the line up even more than it already was but I go to the drive-through and order five cheeseburgers two with ketchup only, I waited four minutes at the drive-through before they asked me Kindly to pull up to #1 I then waited for another two minutes to get my five cheeseburgers with five catchup only now what does it take to train ketchup mustard pickles and onions when I went back and asked for my refund I was told there are new employees on the grill and only been there a week like I said it don't take brain surgeons to know the difference between ketchup mustard pickles and onions on a cheeseburger probably one of the Most common hamburgers they serve for the last billion customers I will no longer go in this establishment I'm a man of my word and the manager there was rude as well! read more

I could go on and on in detail about the terrible experiences here over the last 3 months but im not. I'll make it short. There is no accuracy on the orders being made and there is no reason why i should wait 20+ minutes for an order for 1 to 2 people. There is zero urgency from the staff there except for MAYBE one employee. Fix this place or shut it down. Id rather not have the option of not eating there over giving them chance after chance. Been here quite a few times. Mostly come to let my girlfriend's kids to play in the playplace.If it wasn't for the play place we would likely never order food from here. Everytime we come there are more dirty tables then clean(especially in the play place) , and our orders are done incorrectly. We end up having to clean our own tables before eating most of the time. This used to be my favorite McDonald's to go to but now its one of my least favorite. It could be again with a little bit more attention on the cleanliness of the lobby, better communication , and orginization of the staff. I hope to see this place flourish again but its going to take some work. read more

These people get our orders wrong 75% of the time. And that's being nice, it's actually higher percentage than that. I experience very rude employees the majority of the time. If it wasn't so close to home I would avoid going there altogether. read more

I'm traveling through the state to see a friend and I stopped here for both dinner and breakfast. The dinner experience was through the drive thru, and it was quick and painless. For breakfast I went inside. The seating are and the restrooms were clean, and the staff were VERY polite and helpful. Everyone was smiling and at ease. The food on both occasions came fast and hot! I wish the McDonald's in Minnesota was like this one! read more

I wish I could give this place no stars!! My chicken nuggets tasted and looked as if they had been sitting out for hours. I was lucky to even get them the staff was goofing off. I took my little girl in there to play, The girl that worked there said to us (very rudely), your child cannot play with her socks off. My daughter has cerebal palsy and I had to take off the brace and everything on her foot so that she could play. It was funny when i ordered my girls food, the lady was scratching her head then gave us our food. Grossed me out! Then she comes over and says something about my child feet when she was playing on your nasty floor. We'll never go in that mcdonalds again they are to rude and the place is dirty gross! read more

By far one of the worst McDonald's that I have ever been to and I know many that would agree. The service is slow, the order is rarely correct, the food is often old and over cooked, the staff is usually rude or too busy arguing to get your order done, and don't even bother with the drive through. I've lived here for a few years and would visit the area before then. I would say two years ago the food was great and the service was too. Since then it has declined quickly. They spent what I would assume to be a fair deal of money on renovating the inside and outside of the building, but I guess they forgot to staff it with a staff that could hold up to its looks. Don't waste your time and money on the crap that they serve. Not that McDonald's is gourmet or anything, but you get my drift. Plenty of options are close by. If I'm really wanting McDonald's I'll drive to Edwardsville or somewhere else to get it...and I only live about a mile away from this one. read more
