The guy behind the bar has the PERFECT personality! He's full of suggestions and just easy, funny to have a conversation. I've been here a few times, and haven't been disappointed. Fantastic smash burgers, highly suggest eating here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They've done a kitchen update which is very cool to see your food being prepared.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar side is small but a great vibe with beers and drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It can be a very busy place, but never waited more than 15 minutes for food. Sweet potato tots are a favorite and ask for the "Sneaky" sauce! Always comes out hot!

Excellent take-out service. We ordered a variety of burgers, including the Hot Mess, G.O.A.T., and Josey Wales, and they were great. The Borracho Tots may sound different, but they were very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was ample seating inside and outside behind the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are visiting town as we were and looking for a great burger, don't pass this by. Also, parking in the back is available.

We had a great time at Sneaky's! Jason was a fantastic server - we had super prompt service and he was very personal. Additionally, our burgers came out incredibly quickly. They were delicious! Even the grease was delicious (never knew that was possible). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also loved the disco ball and the lights hanging from the ceiling. Pleasant vibe all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only regret: not coming here sooner

The Hot Mess and the Josey Wales burger was AMAZING!! I not a cider fan but the bartender told me I was going to enjoy it the 2 Towns Pineapple Cider which we did I also tried I don't hear hit was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was great music watch the baseball game wasn't loud where you had to scream or lean in someone ear just to talk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My first visit to Sneaky's was 10/2024. They were 5 star then. Fast forward to 11/2025. They are 5 star now. I kinda kick myself for not reviewing sooner, but after a year of visits, I can confidently say Sneaky's has been a consistently great place to enjoy lunch, dinner, and drinks. I'll start with the food. Get a burger......any burger!! Try them all because they are all great. Tyler adds a seasonal burger to the menu every few months, so maybe try whatever that is while it's offered. They have gluten free buns and can make low-carb adjustments. I'm also a huge fan of their drunk tater tots. mmmmm [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is relaxed fun. There are kitschy stickers all over the chairs. There's always some kind of Xmas light string up that makes you smile.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a patio in the back and on nice days, they open up the windows along the front of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I posted a video watching the Halloween Parade from inside the restaurant. I've been there for festivities, for lunch after the farmers market, and let's grab a bite nights. Great every time! The bar has pretty much anything you'd like and the friendliest bartenders & staff to serve it to you.

We went in early on a Wednesday afternoon. Our bartender/server was on top of it considering she was the only one working, and it did get busier as time went. Burgers were delicious, although messy I though a double Cheeseburger would be the least messy, and I'm pretty sure I was wrong. The Tots are perfect for a snack after drinking too. Love the symbolic Logo of being a "sneaky" fox. Plenty of street parking, as well as in the back of the restaurant. There is also a outside seating are in the back as well.

Came back to have another yummy burger! The service is quick and done by multiple people to keep things flowing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is like a bar atmosphere so it has medium noise level.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Always enjoy it here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hot mess burger is very spicy but good. The double classic is delicious, it was ordered on a gluten free bun and it was one of the better ones I've had. Love that they have self service over water.

I had the Chilli Cheese Tats, BlueBerry Basil Smash, and a Wagu Burger with Bacon & Onion Jam!

The food in this place is Amazing and the pricing is great! Danni was my Waitress/Bartender. Her spirit is soulful and kind. The drinks are strong but savoring.. If you are ever in the area, it's a must stop and try! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The setting in this place is very welcoming and inviting![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Such a cute little spot on Main Street with a pretty good variety of music. If I were to suggest this place I would do so for a drink and to catch a vibe. We went here for food and it just wasn't much to rave about. The waiter was nice, but seemed new. You seat yourself but it took a few minutes to be greeted and get our order taken. The menu is very small and since this was my first time eating there I'm not sure if the burgers are always made that way but it was severely over cooked. Like I love a nice crispy edge but the patty seemed to have just sat on a grill for quite a long time. The tots were certainly the best part of the meal and the sneaky sauce was different but tasty.

    Happy Hour.

Sneaky's Bar & Burger Joint food and drinks in the old Recess Brewery. "Old," in this case, means from 2014-2023. I read that pieces of the oldest barn in Edwardsville were used, and with a 200-year history in the environs, I wouldn't be surprised. I mention all this because it helps explain how a "burger joint" can be housed in such a good-looking brick building. The street-facing windows fold open, so on a good-weather day/night, it has a comfortably airy barnlike feel. Service great, burger and tater tots great, gluten-free needs for Therese H. handled well. Beer A-OK. Thanks, SBJ.

If it were not for the Illinois 66 Passport, I still may be oblivious. The Illinois Passport is promoting 66 businesses on the first 301 miles of the original historical Route 66. The businesses start in Chicago and come all the way down the state to Collinsville. After visiting the business, you get a stamp in your passport just like your travel passport. Stagger Inn is definitely a historical neighborhood dive bar. It's 52 years old and still going strong. It has an old wooden bar, two rooms for dining and drinking and you can see into the kitchen from a large window. The staff was friendly and provided great service. I sat at the bar and ended up chatting with all the servers as they picked up drinks for their tables. When reading the menu, I was impressed that they hand-cut their fries and hand batter the onion rings. I am definitely going back for the onion rings. This visit I did the fries as a side and they were crispy and still had the skins on the potatoes. When they placed my plate in front of me, they informed me they do not season the fries. The bartender recommended that I salt them while they were hot. Preferring pepper, I gave mine a shake of black pepper. I liked that they didn't salt the fries, since I'm trying to reduce my sodium intake. My Stagger Burger was incredibly delicious. I added, Pepper Jack Cheese and Jalapeños. They were generous with the jalapeños and left the seeds in, so the burger had a little burn to it. For me, this burger was top-notch. Stagger Inn, thanks for the stamp in my Route 66 Passport. I'll be back for Chicken Wings and Onion Rings. See you, soon.

Getting there and parking: My family, including a pre-teen, met up at Stagger in to visit with a couple of our friends. Parking was a small challenge. There is a large public lot on the same block, but it was full when I got there around 6:20pm on a Wednesday. There is minimal street parking. Luckily, I found a spot after a couple of times around the block. Walking in, you can see right away that it really is a no-frills tavern. There's not even traditional table service, though it's not exactly counter service, either. You sit down, decide what you want from the menu, walk up to the kitchen counter to place your order, and give the ticket the kitchen gives you to your server. However, the menu was much nicer than what I expected, with very fair prices! Appetizers ranged in variety from French fries and wings to fried pickles and spinach artichoke toasted ravioli, with prices ranging from around $4 to $8. Entrees included a variety of sandwiches, salads, and burgers from $4 to $8.50 or so. They even had vegetarian and pescatarian options, including a blackened tuna sandwich and a black beans burger! All three of us, including a picky pescatarian adolescent, found food we enjoyed! Beyond the food, the service staff was friendly and the bar service was adequate. In all, it was a really great place e together up with friends AND bring a kid--at 6:30 on a weeknight, at least! I would very much recommend this place to a group looking for a casual environment with good food at good prices! Atmosphere: Food selection & taste: Service: Price: I'm not sure if would be fair to give 4 starts based on the above, though, because I wasn't to rate it for what it is, not for what something else is. Overall, I give it a 4.5! Vegetarian friendly: yes (lacto-ovo)

They offer bone-in and boneless wings. I prefer, bone-in. To me, boneless wings is just another name for nuggets. You also get your choice of sauces, or doing a dry-rub for your wings. I'm a fan of the dry-rubs, so chose Buffalo-Lemon Pepper. It was a combination of my two favorite flavors, so it seemed like a logical choice. The blend of the buffalo with lemon pepper, gave the wings an extra tangy taste. I also like how extra crunchy the wings were. Crisp on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. When I eat wings out at a restaurant, I am a stickler for the number of drums and flats match. My order here at B&B was 3 & 3, so I was happy. In addition to my wings, I had a side of fries. Damn, they were good. They were crinkle, my favorite fry and they were good sized. The bartender offered a beer cheese sauce for dipping and I took advantage of his offer and tried it. The beer cheese was way better than using the typical ketchup. Being a Tap House, there were plenty of craft beers and commercial beers on draft. If you are torn on what to choose, they offer samplings. The bartender said, if I told him what I liked, he could make recommendations to match my taste. He guided me to, Floyd's Deluxe and it was a good match for my wings and fries. The ambiance is industrial minimalist, which is a relaxing sports bar vibe. I was pleased with my first visit, so I will be back and the next time I'll try a burger. Good food and excellent service, will always get me to return.
