Look. It's a McDonalds, so I'm not going to try to rate another McDonalds menu. I am only rating this today to point out one employee. We came in on Sunday, Sept 2, 2018 at about 1pm. My wife and I and another couple came in just to get a quick bite on our way to the square in Marietta, so this was on the way. My buddy and I (both military veterans) were waited on by Amanda at the counter. She saw my buddies marine corps hat and bought him his meal, pretty dang cool. However, that wasn't the only reason I'm writing this review. Every single order that came thru while we were standing there, including 2 at the drive thru, were wrong. Amanda had rung everything up correct but who ever was in the back kept getting it wrong. Amanda handled every unhappy customer and issue with professionalism and a good attitude. I am amazed at how she fixed all the issues without getting upset or frustrated. Not sure how long this place can keep her, but thanks Amanda for keeping your cool. 4 stars ONLY because of Amanda, otherwise this would be a 1 star review. My wife's burger was dry, my buddies biscuit was dry, but we didn't want to add to Amanda's problem list. read more

This is probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Yes the kiosk makes ordering easy and simple. However, the employees here are very rude and don't seem like they want to have any interaction with customers. When they do address customers, it's only the ones that are standing right up front at the registers that they only use for cash customers. It definitely needs to be addressed. read more

I don't know what exactly is going on at this location, but they are close to non-functional. I sat in the drive-thru stuck between cars for 20 minutes without even having my order taken. Once I was able to get through, I had no choice but to leave or else risk getting to work late. Truthfully, I blame myself. I stupidly tried this location after having the same thing happen two weeks ago. Last time, nobody ever took my order and when I pulled up to the window, they said their system was down. Why...WHY would you not put up a sign anywhere telling people you are closed? There must have been 8 cars in the drive-thru at that point. I figured it must have been a one-off thing and tried it again, but had the same result. This time, their system was working, but they still can't seem to take more than 3 orders in half an hour. How is it that McDonald's corporate is okay with this store struggling the way it is for weeks on end? Give your employees what they need so they can do their job! read more

I usually just go on about my day when I don't get the best experience at a fast food, but this was one of the worse McDonald's I've been to. At first I go through the drive thru and the lady on the mic asked what I wanted and I told her two 10 Peice and the drinks and a couple minutes past and she said nothing and I told her that's it and she said ok pull around so I do and she doesn't say a work when she opens the window just looks at my with her hand out for my card than gives it back and just shuts the window. So I go to the next one and this lady came to the window and gave me my drinks, again no works exchanged, and one of them was a hic with no ice but they put ice in it and after she shut the window I was looking at her to tell her and she just turns around and stares at my so I mouthed it to her that it was no ice and she just continues to stare than walks away. She comes back and slightly opens the window to give it to me and shuts the window. So now I'm stuck with an extra drink. After I get the food she continues to just stare at me with a blank face of impatience as I check my bag. Once I pull off I try the food and my nuggets were hard and over cooked and cold, and my fries were soggy and unflavored. I just don't understand how you mess up pre made food. And you can't even serve it fresh. I recommend staying away and going to the McDonald's on Barrett parkway. read more

I ordered McDonald's curbside bc I've had 2 back surgeries, need another, walk with cane and can't sit in car long. I ordered at home then parked in spot 3. App said it would come out in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting I walked inside to find my food sitting cold behind counter. I asked the manager why didn't someone bring it out to me. She told me dead serious. "ITS RAINING OUTSIDE..." Really?! I said raining?! So, I've been outside in a spot waiting on my food that's been sitting here getting cold for over 30 minutes and the reason it wasn't brought out is bc it's raining?! She said it's a "safety hazard." I said safety hazard to walk outside in the rain?! How long would you have let me just sit there?! She said it's safety hazard to have the "children walking in the rain." Then asked me. "Do you really want children walking outside in the rain?" CHILDREN?! I asked, What children? She said "the children that work here." I said so it's a hazard to have the children walking out in the rain but it's NOT for the customers? I guess they don't take out the trash either in the rain? Come by here pretty frequent, normally no major reason to complain, but I just went by to grab a quick dinner after a long days work and decided to get the 2 Big Macs for $6, I added a drink which brought my total to 7.56, when I get to the window to pay I am charged $10.80, The lady working the window was nice but said that there was nothing that they could do even though it's clearly their mistake. The manager told me that I should just dispute it with my bank.... Yeah it's only a four dollar difference but nobody goes to McDonald's hoping they get charged more than they paid for... and their solution is for me to figure it out... read more

Every time we come here either the food is wrong and we get attitudes from the employees or we don't get the correct order when we pay and they make a big deal of them screwing up. Not to mention, today it's 34 degrees outside and they refuse to turn the heat on IN THE PLAY AREA. Everyone is bundled up in the play area because it's so cold and they won't turn the heat on. Not to mention. Half the time we come here our order is wrong or cold. I absolutely hate this McDonald's and would never come back here if it wasn't for the play place. I stopped here to get a quick bite to eat on my way to an event. I ordered two meals. When I opened the bag, the fries looked like they were sprinkled with pepper. I asked the employees of McDonald's started putting salt and pepper on the fries, they replied no. I asked if we could get another order without the black sprinkles. Someone bagging food who appeared to be a manager said that's from the grease, it needs to be changed. The employee told us it would take a long time to get another order so I asked for a refund. We were then told they'd make us a fresh order. We waited a little over 5 minutes for more fries with the same black sprinkles. Unfortunately for us, we didn't realize this until we drove off. I called the location to speak with a supervisor. After the phone rang for 7 minutes, a gentleman who refused to give me his name answered claiming to be the supervisor. He claimed they no longer gave names out because they were connected to a gas station and people played on the phone often. I assured him I was not playing on the phone and that I was calling with a complaint. He rudely continued to question me asking for my information to which I advised I didn't feel comfortable providing since he didn't provide his. He then told me he would use the caller ID to forward my info to their director if HR. The interesting thing about that is if they had caller ID, he could've given me his name, especially if he was a supervisor. I called the national customer service number and reported this awful experience, but I caution anyone from going here. If the grease is so dirty it it makes the fries look peppered, imagine what is happening to other food that isn't visible. Patronize this location with extreme caution. My daughter and I were to afraid to eat anything so we just wasted money. But if you eat something from here it might be at the expense of you health. read more

Best McDonald's in the area! Since we all know what a McDonald's is, I'm rating this one as it compares to other McDonalds. It has one of the best PlayPlaces. There is a seperate area for birthday parties and an Air Hockey table. But the service is second to none. There is a manager there, Josh, that because my wife and I are regulars he took the time to learn our names and where we are from. I've even been at the drive-thru where he's recongnized my voice. It's nice going to a place where you are greeted by name. I thought I was just special (like Norm at Cheer's) until one day I was in there with my wife and one of her friends and he also knew her name too. Pretty amazing service for a McDonalds. read more

I had to laugh when I saw the sign inside that said if you give us a five star rating we will give you a free ice cream. What a joke. This place doesn't even deserve one star. First of all the bathroom had no running water and I had soap all over my hands when I came back to the manager and asked him if I could use the sink right there by the counter. My child was given diced apples that expired over a week ago. When I called to inform them, the manager said she could exchange them for a small fry. When we returned for the fries the employee ignored us at the drive they window while she continued to play on her phone and scratch her head. I have pictures if needed. There was so many health code violations going on just in the few minutes we were watching from the drive thru window that I feel the need to find the proper channels to contact health code enforcement for an updated inspection. This is the worst mcdonald's i have ever been to. Me and my little sister drove through and placed our order, 10 piece chicken nuggets and two iced coffees. Simple. We get to the pay window and the lady working and says "you had the 10 piece nuggets?" we said yes, because we did. My sister gets the receipt and said "oh we also had the iced coffees" so the lady rings up for ANOTHER MEAL and two iced coffees. Mind you, we didn't even ask for one meal in the first place. She charges my sister twice for two meals and three coffees. When my sister tried to explain that she needed only 10 nuggets and and two coffees, not a whole new order, the lady at the pay window proceeds to yell and scream about "NOBODY EVER LISTENS TO ME" "GET THE DAMN MANAGER" "this is so stupid". We didn't feel like getting yelled at further so we just told her we would just pay for the two meals without refund and drove to the second window. Guess what? This is our closest fast food place. There's a Wendy's close too, but this is easiest. It's the only fast food breakfast place that's close with a drive thru. My bar isn't set too high for them since it's fast food. We've had issues with incorrect orders or being ignored at the drive thru for a while, but now they don't accept credit cards. Visited twice in last week and both times they tell me they don't accept cards. Thought it was a drive-thru issue, so I went inside and they told me they only accept cash. They accepted cards in the past. But, now, 4 days after being told the first time, they still don't accept cards. It's inconvenient and now not worth it. read more

I went to this store once before, but hadn't been back for a while because they forgot the fish, I know these things happen, so I decided to go back again. Thank god I asked the lady at 1st window for receipt because when I went back, the guy that came over was telling me that it was all there. I showed him receipt and what was in the bag; then he said oh yeah. While I'm waiting for the 2 items, the food already in bag is getting cold. When I got home fries were cold and when I bit into them, they cracked like if I was eating sticks. Food was put together sloppily; nuggets were cold, hard, and gross. Staff seem to lack sense of urgency and don't bother checking for quality. I was not offered anything for the trouble, not even an apology. I'm sure you have plenty of customers, but as for me, I will not be going back. I used to work at a fast food restaurant some years ago and we had to be quick, courteous, respectful, and either offer a free item, make their order fresh again, or provide a refund when something went wrong to ensure the customer was satisfied and would come. Customer service has certainly gong out the window at this location. The staff lacks a sense of urgency and pay no attention to quality. They are in need of some serious service oriented training; unfortunately, some people, even if trained, will still not be able to do the job correctly.
