The manager and the crews were not only directing traffic off the main highway. They were keeping the cars moving in the lane as well. The service was quick and moved the dual lane efficiently. Same system as other locations. Two drive thru ordering points. There is no dine in. Only the walk up window to order to go. You can't really rate the ambience. The staff is super friendly. They had lots of staff. I hope it stays that way. I ordered the regular hotdog with mustard, ketchup and Cole slaw. A regular Orange Squeeze Shake. Total of $6.92. That's really reasonably priced. My hotdog was hot. I started eating and forgot to get my picture...Lol. My Orange Squeeze shake tasted just like the push up. It wasn't as orange but it was super thick. You can't go wrong with this one. Only negative for now is this...if you're parked and going to the walk up window, it's hard to back out with the Drive thru line being as long as it is. The employees purposely refused the customers request. I placed 1 order but to put in 2 bags because I was dropping off my mother at her home and planned to eat mine on the way to my home. Staff told me they didn't have extra bags but I demanded something and they gave me a styrofoam tray. My mom's BBQ sandwich was loaded with hot sauce that I asked to hold. The center of the sandwich was a big red spot where they purposely dumped the hot sauce. I ordered a burger cookout style but hold the onion. We got a small bun with a small hamburger patty and nothing else and I mean nothing. There was an elderly man at the window and they ignored him completely. When my brother brought it to their attention, they refused to assist the man. Staff stated he couldn't do 2 things at 1 time but there were not any other customers. Another staff said he was on the phone and couldn't help him. I will never ever go back to this Cookout in Raeford and it's new. There is so much more!!! Stay away folks!!!
