I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received on Monday, June 10, 2024 and Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at your McDonald's Restaurant located at 6228 Baltimore Blvd, Riverdale, MD 20737. I ordered the combo meal on both days, which was 2 cheeseburgers, fries and drink. I was very disappointed when I received my order. The cheeseburgers were "lukewarm", and the fries and apple pie were not "hot." Not to mention, there were no napkins in my bag nor was I offered ketchup to go with my fries. I was very surprised to receive this type of service from this particular McDonald's because most of the time, when I have come here the service has been EXCELLENT. I have learned an expensive lesson at this particular McDonald's. DO NOT go through the drive-thru if you want your order done neatly & correctly. I ordered the new sandwich - Bacon & Cheddar Cheese Burger and the sandwich was slightly thrown together with the jalapeños on one side of the box instead of on the sandwich. I would have liked to have the jalapeños marinated on the meat. I ordered a LARGE fry and it was not full. Why pay for a large size box and the quantity was that of a small fry? Lastly I asked for extra caramel on ALL 4 of my medium size frappes. They provided an open top cup with the extra caramel. Why?!?!?! There was NO caramel inside the cup on the frozen drink nor was there any caramel along the inside of the cup. The caramel would have been better IN the drink. It's like... THINK, please... Stopped by McDonald's on my way home from the gym. Hadn't eaten at this place in about 10 years. I wanted to try the old bay filet of fish. Turned out really decent. One thing though. Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese combo. I substituted the hashbrown for fries. It took awhile to prepare it, understandable the breakfast sandwich had to be prepared. The fries were hot, but the biscuit was hard, as if they prepared it in the microwave. Ive gotten the same at breakfsst and the biscuit is always fresh. If they plan to do breakfsst all the time they must be prepared to maintain the same quality all the time. Nothing can destroy a biscuit sandwich worst than a dry biscuit. I didn't complain becsuse it took long enough to get this hard biscuit, i can only imagine how long it would take to get a fresh one. Oh well, I won't order breakfast any time other then breakfast from now on. Overall this McDonalds location is ok, always someone cleaning the lobby and bathrooms. This place has made a MAJOR overhaul in the past year or so. There are still people taking orders outside but they're actually efficient now. Even when there is a line, it moves pretty quickly. Also, my food is typically hot and fresh. They still get little things wrong here and there, like giving me a medium drink when I ordered a large. But, now they fix it without issue. The restaurant is pretty clean. The floors aren't sticky, which seems to be a requirement for most McDonald's restaurants. read more

My daughter ordered a coffee and bagel sandwich with app and she chargered her for just coffee wouldn't give receipt and we just left without sandwich it's a hassle every time we come with her. Probably the most incompetent McDonald's I've been to. Not just one bad visit, been here probably 20 times. 5 of the visits have involved food not being ready, being told to move ahead and they'll bring the food out, and it never happens. I honestly don't expect much from fast food drive-through restaurants, but this place is truly the worst. Since it is in our neighborhood, we go there sometimes. They are always slow and at least a third of the time the order is wrong and/or something is missing. Though not Hispanic myself, I speak Spanish fluently without a North American accent. They frequently have intercom order takers whose English is too poor to be taking orders from English-speakers without eye contact, but I have learned that it really doesn't matter because they are no more capable of taking orders in their native language. This IS NOT a case of foreign-born workers causing problems - the nearby McDonalds location in College Park and Riverdale Park on Kenilworth are staffed primarily by native Spanish-speakers and they are fine.
