Arrived in town late for an overnight stopover. After checking in the hotel we came to this McDonald's for a quick bite. Service was not great. We ordered at the kiosk and asked for the food to be brought to us. Instead the cashier called our number and we had to get the food ourselves. I had to go back because she did not give me any cups for soda. Food was at least hot and good. There was a dead bird in the parking lot! Not sure how that happened! Very scary. No need to write a complete review as everyone knows McDonald's, but this one is extremely slow, even with 7 employees working and 2 on break dining in the dining room. Then my Big Breakfast eggs came with a really long hair cooked into the squared egg slab. Disgusting. If they have long hair, hair nets required. You can not imagine how impressed we were when we entered this McDonald's. First, we were warmly greeted by Scottie, and we knew we were in a for a good experience. My husband and I both headed for the rest rooms, which were spotless. Cynthia, the cashier, was upbeat and friendly. We had our orders in no time. While we were enjoying our breakfast sandwiches, we could not help noticing that Scottie, when he was not greeting customers, he was tidying up. Christy, another employee, was sweeping up. I stopped here on my way to Raleigh recently. I was starving & it was getting late. This place had the shortest drive thru line. The service wasn't the quickest. I ordered a hamburger kids meal with double fries & a Hi-C orange drink. The food was NOT hot at all. These days I am shocked to get fresh food at fast food places. Placed an online order about 15 minutes out. Got there and nothing. My number was not even on the list. I waited a couple minutes and told the girl at counter. She says they are working on it. Who among us has not eaten at a McDonald's? One of the great things about them as no matter where you are traveling in the country you already know 90-95% of the menu and approximate pricing. A Big Mac in California tastes the same as one in NC. The fries in my opinion are the best fast food fries available. The service is always good here and the workers are friendly. I have used the drive-thru so I cannot comment on the cleanliness of the inside bit from outside it looks good. It's a McDonalds nothing more nothing less. Stopped by this location on a road trip. The drive thru line was insane so I swapped my order to counter pick up and parked my car. All 3 doors were locked and there were people inside, I thought I was losing my mind. I try again and thankfully someone was coming out and as I walked in I was yelled at by the workers that INSIDE IS CLOSED I tried to tell her my order was ready but it seemed the only words she could speak were INSIDE IS CLOSED like ok girl, so I went to the counter to have yet another screaming employee- the website let me order online for counter pick up, why would all the doors be closed at 4pm? I supported this restaurant during Covid and tried to encourage the employees and gave tips. The last two times I've been, I was told I had to pay for my mobile order. I tried to explain the app has never given me an order # before unless the payment went thru. I was told by the person at payment window, "we're not McDonalds.We don't care what the app says." What?? The worse McDonald's I have ever been to even for a quick on the drive meal. The area itself is generally busy. I am not from the area but I can guess it is a main road for locals. Went into the restroom..overall OK clean but the stall I went into had the toilet roll sitting ON the toilet seat itself toward the back end. So essentially people are coming, peeing with the entire roll located at their rear end. Clearly an indicator that restrooms are not checked. I ordered a double quarter pounder and recieved a single patty. Informed the cashier and she informed the kitchen. 15 minutes went by and no remake to be presented so I asked the person calling out order numbers to see if it was completed. It was, however, it sat on a table without anyone knowing of it. Eventually got it though. On my way out, made attempts to request a paper bag but no one seemed interested in addressing me so I left. Pros: They appeared fast and moved through a line quicky. Cons: They were fast but at the sake of quality service / food...? I am, or used to be a faithful patron of this establishment. It is convenient to my location and I love the tea. But, lately, this establishment has put me down. You have to wait in long lines, the clerk doesn't assist you on the outside ordering booth, giving you the wrong order, etc, etc. Needless to say, I was there yesterday made my order, received my order, got to work; WRONG ORDER. I called the establishment and explained the situation to them and told them I could not return for a refund until after work. Went there and the manager on duty had an attitude. It was two other people there requesting refunds for whatever reason. Today, I go back, pulled up to the second ordering booth. There was one car before me and two at the first booth. When the car in front of me ordered and moved on, I patiently waited my turn. That's when I noticed at least four cars made their orders and went on. I pulled up to the window, the clerk looked dumb-founded at me and asked did I ordered the (whatever it was). I said no, no body asked me for my order. She said which booth were you at? I said the second one. The clerk then proceeded to say, " well you may have to get back in line at the first booth yo order." I looked at her and politely stated I will not and I pulled off. It is a shame how bad this neighborhood McDonald's has become. And don't get me wrong, I understand staff shortage. But, I can honestly say when I do order there. I stopped here with my 18 month old daughter on our way home from the beach and was hugely impressed. It was the cleanest McDonald's I've been in and everyone working there was SO kind and welcoming. A huge storm moved in while we were eating so we hung out longer than we normally would have and not only were the employees all so friendly, all of the patrons coming in, many whom seemed like "regulars" as they knew the staff, were so nice too. I inquired at the drive thru and asked if they were opening the restaurant and the employee spoke with several others inside and replied soon. When I indicated the sign stated they opened 20 minutes ago I received No response. After waiting 30 minutes I took my business to Burger king located down the block. It's amazing that McDonald's cannot understand extra ice but when you order diet coke and get diet Dr pepper 2 out of 3 times its truly sad. Be different if I ordered more than 1 item. Overall a great McDonald's for one right off I95. Just west of off ramp mixed between a bunch of other rest and eat joints. Interior clean and updated and bathroom was clean as well. It honestly depends on who's working. In the early afternoon the staff seems friendlier, but in the late afternoon/evening they are pretty rude. Stopped by this McDonalds for dinner with two other friends on our trip back to NY. I had to go to the bathroom first and the bathrooms were very clean and looked like they are always taken care of. The employees were nice. I ordered a Big Mac and a large fry, when I got my order the large fry was missing and so was my friends. I received my fry right away but my friend had to wait about 5-7 minutes for hers. I won't let the missing fries change my view of this place because it was one of the cleanest McDonalds I've been to, so I gave it 4 stars. read more

Service was horrid. Giving them one star is too much credit. Short story employee at front didn't have a care in the world and was too bother to even speak . Going into details: Lady at the front didn't greet us, she just walk to her register and stared at us, like okay your bothering me. She didn't even asked what we wanted. Just an awkward blank stare, so I proceed to give my order and so did my husband, at the end my husband told her he had a code from their McDonald's app and she just stared again and said our code reader isn't working (that's honestly the most she said all together all other answers we one worded). Not happy about drive thru attendant this evening. My husband ordered a Happy meal for my son with chocolate milk. When he got to window to get the food he noticed no chocolate milk. Asked about it and comment was we are out of chocolate milk. Ok not even offering or suggested anything else. Store #3770 Would give negative stars if I could. Horrible cashier and manager. Ordered a kids meal and sausage biscuit with no cheese. Waited over 20 minutes and finally received kids meal and no biscuit. Cashier said she forgot to ring it up. A long line had formed, asked to speak with the manager and the manager just yelled "get back in line sir". I would have left, but had other family members at the table eating, so I returned to the back of a long line to yet again order 2 sausage biscuits no cheese while my grandson ate his kids meal. 30 minutes later, I received my 2 sausage biscuits as my family had finished up eating and were ready to leave. I would have taken it to go, but I checked and sure enough both biscuits had cheese. I was so frustrated at this point, I just asked for my $ back, which added up to just over $3. I went to repeat myself to the manager what I told the cashier, that I just wanted a refund, but she yelled at me in a sharp tone "I heard you already" and threw the $3 and change at me.
