The worst McDonald's I've ever seen, the weight lasted 20 minutes, and when we got around to the window, they forgot the condiment, a side of big Mac sauce, then we were told we're gonna have to go back around through the line to get the big Mac sauce because they didn't put it on the ticket. Went through the drive-thru after church. No other vehicles were ordering so I figured it would be quick service. After telling the employee our order, went to pay and they had issues finding the order. The girl ask what we had then goes to the next window. She comes back tells us the price and I pay. Get my card back, no receipt. Get to the next window. Lady there starts handing us our drinks and only hands us 4. We have 5 in the vehicle so ordered 5 drinks. Told her that we had a large coke too and she looks at a receipt and says no you don't it's a medium. I was like ok well then can I have my other drink and she tells me I only ordered 4. I asked for the receipt and she tells us to pull up to wait on out food so I did so. About a minute later a guy came up and asks what we had and I told him. And he goes back into the restaurant. Mind you there are also 5 other vehicles waiting on food. They had employees running around outside with bags of food having issues finding where they go. We got a girl that came up and asked if we had happy meals and I replied yes and she hands them to me and walks away. I said "hey miss" and she just kept walking. Waited another 5 minutes and my wife gets out to go inside for the rest of the food. Employees went out of their way to pretend she didn't exist. She was finally so frustrated she yelled that she needed to speak to a manager. She was in the store for like 10 minutes so I called her and asked if she had it straight and she said yeah. She comes back to the car after 30+ minutes of waiting on our "fast food". All employees besides the girl at the register and one guy that was helping my wife were completely rude and have no reason to be working any job where they have to deal with people. If you hate talking to people who has an issue that needs to be resolved, find a new occupation. The burgers I ordered honestly looked pitiful. Like buns completely flat, missing onions, and was just splattered with ketchup. This mcdonald's definitely needs a new restaurant for competition in Spruce Pine. Sadly we don't have any other burger place. If we decide we want a burger that bad, I guess we just need to wait to get to Burnsville before we stop at this one again. Just terrible. read more

I only ordered 3 food items and got home to find only 2 were in the bag. I didn't think I needed to check for 2 bacon egg and cheese biscuits and hotcakes.. simple right?? I tried to call but no one answers because they're busy obviously and what good would it do me now. They don't care that one of my tribe didn't get breakfast, that's my problem. 9/10 visits to this particular mcdonalds franchise end in either reciving completly wrong orders, missing items from orders and or wrong sized beverages, regardless of what is wrong it seems to be that something always is. I have complained at the store and spoken to the store manager, neither her nor her employees seem to care at all, the staff and management both are incompetent/ lazy and nothing ever changes. Went inside to order and eat one evening. The negative was I waited about 10 minutes for my simple order of a number 3. Nothing special or extra and there was only one other person waiting with me. Looked like they took more priorities for drive thru and order ahead app orders. But on the plus, the food was hot, service was nice and the dining room was clean and newly renovated. read more

It is a 50/50 chance you might have a wrong order it has happened a few times they have been getting better but the staff is so rushed by management to get the food out I feel it damage there quality. read more

A great looking store. However Most of the time the ff are under cooked. With my background I can tell you the reason why and its such a easy fix. the fry basket is too full. They should never be more than 1/3 Full. When you drop a full basket it lows the temp. This in turn will cause a longer cooking cycle plus you will lost the time you were trying to save. Drop two basket (1/3 Full) for better results n quality. read more

Sucks does not begin to describe the service you get at this McDonald's. Even though there's no one in line at the drive-through they make you pull up and park in five seconds later your food comes out with about a whole scoop of salt on it. I know what they're doing their skewing the data on their drive-through pad so they won't look bad and they can get their bonuses for fast service read more

Horrible service after standing in line for over 5 minutes and no one attending to the register, someone at the drive thru asked the what I assume was some kind of assistant manager who was running the front? This person mumbled something and several minutes later came to the register and because I was standing between two cash registers hoping someone would attend to my order and yes she had seen me there, the "asst. manager " went to the register waited on a customer that came in after me and when I called her on it said " I can only wait on customers that are at my register." I assume this was her attempt to take her discontent of having to take orders; out on me. Long story short In my opinion this store gets 5 stars on ignorance and rudeness, 0 stars on customer service. read more

It's McDonalds! You know what to expect, they have very courtesy staff and managers. Food is fresh unless you go late at night.
