Haven't had a Whataburger since college. Remember it being greasy. Close by and seen it recently in a travel blog. So, why not. Had to stop to get gluten free wannabe buns first. Ok. So the whole thing! Service was on point. Very friendly and accurate. (Order screens were down). Got the lettuce wrap burger and fries. And the combo comes with a gargantuan drink. Man, that's a lotta iced tea. The burger is not greasy. Nothing like I remember. Great improvement. Fries are meh.... Fixings are good. All in all, better than I remember. if I could locate the operators contact info I would call. Stopped in today for the first time. we ordered 2 combos and a couple milkshakes. I took one bite out of my patty melt and there was a hair. We turned around since we had already left the restaurant. I walk in and tell the cashier there was a hair in my burger. She claimed everyone in the back had on hairnets and insinuated that perhaps I put it there. She was not the manager because after the second insinuation that no one could have put the hair in the burger we decided to get our money back and she called for a manager. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced at food service. Definitely won't be back and will be filing a formal complaint with corporate office. read more

Do not eat the fish sandwich. Both the fish and tartar sauce on it did not taste good. The toilet would not flush in the restroom. The cleanliness was mediocre. Service at the register was excellent. I told an employee the sweet tea was empty and nothing was done. read more

Nice WB location with friendly staff and decent food, but they do have a pretty small inside seating area. During high volume hours it can be hard to get a table. Our burgers were good during our visit but not the best WB I've ever had. The onion rings were really good, and it's nice to be able to swap these for the fries that come with the combo meal. Drinks are self-service in the seating area. Plenty of parking. read more

My son and I visited to order a burger at the drive though. The person taking the order was so quiet I had to ask for her to repeat several times. When I drove up to pay and get the food the young lady that came out didn't loot at me, didn't say hello, just asked for the money. When she returned with my change and food she just plopped the food through the window with the same rude attitude as before and handed me my change.. still no thank you or eye contact whatsoever. I just received a DoorDash order I placed with Whataburger in Spartanburg on the east side and I've had problems with ordering from them before but I gave it another try. I ordered #2 which is a double meat with bacon condiments and no cheese I received a single meat, no bacon or condiments but got cheese. My brother ordered #2 with Monterey Jack cheese with condiments and received #2, double meat with American cheese and no condiments. They're completely incompetent. this is the third and last time I'll order from this place. read more

I get that this place just opened and I will give them grace. It was pretty chaotic. We ordered through drive thru 2 burgers and 1 large fry no drinks. They ask you for your name and your car info. The color of your car and type. The worker came out with a drink and asked of we ordered sweet tea. We said no. She came out again and asked if we ordered a drink. We said we didn't. She brought our food to us. We were stuck in line waiting to get to the window to pay. When we finally got to the window the workers looked at us. We told them we needed to pay. Then they were confused and asked us for our name on the order. Could we have just left without paying? Then she asked if we ordered a drink again. We told her no for the 3rd time. Why take all that info in the beginning but not use it? There were a ton of workers inside everyone looked confused. Some workers were just standing there doing nothing. There was only 1 girl working outside and bringing people food. Why are there 2 lanes to order but only 1 line that gets served? Anyway, the food was bland. The fries have no salt on them. If you want MCD's fries with no salt go here. The burger only had mustard as the sauce. It was very plain. Do they not put ketchup in their burgers? The onions were chopped weird. I found 2 chunks like this in the burger. For the price, it was $20 for 2 burgers and fries not worth it. read more

Not a fan of the self order touch screens. Not sure what the problem is but touch didn't seem to work as it should. Order with mustard and Mayo, when finished it had no mustard. It's an ok burger but the fries leave an after taste. I think the oils used to fry now are the issue. Lettuce looked old. Guess I expected too much. This new location is fine and pretty clean although its dining area is rather small. Food quality is significantly better than the Boiling Springs location, but do not order their chicken wings; they're awful. My experience with service is exclusively at night time which is good and can complete your order within 10 minutes with responsive staff although is can be unsafe due to it being in Spartanburg. read more

Friday/Sat night shift around 12am seems like the cooks had to make something they didnt have already cause my order took longer than everybody else because the people after me left before me. What lovely way to to thank me for ordering what they had to make (do their job) was drench me and my wifes burger in mustard.
