Waited at the counter to pay for my order- lady working eventually said she would help in a minute- she had to deliver food to the people at the table- manager was standing there the entire time- even asked her when she was going to take my order- the counter lady was busy. She then took my tag and I paid- I got part of my food order - waiting on the coffees (counter lady was waiting on one of my sandwich- they said 'working on it') she went to take other orders- still no help from people standing there. Counter lady finished filling my bag- I left- got in truck- one of the two McGriddles was a Biscuit!! If I'm at McDonald's find me on the road, this was a mid Sunday morning stop that found the drive thru wrapped around the building. The lot was pretty full as well. Walk up clear of debris was a great start. The inside of the restaurant had business, but not crazy. Counter service friendly. The wait was around 15 minutes, but they were getting creamed at the drive up. Unfortunately the dining room needed tidying up, but not horrible. They had no staff to spare. The order sausage, egg & cheese, McGriddle sausage & cheese, hash browns and two ice coffees. Everything hot and tasted great! Especially surprised how good the coffee was. The restrooms were also clean. I'm a 3.5, but rounding down to a 3. This is a recommend. read more

That enigmatic middle child of the public hygiene family-not quite a biohazard, but not exactly a spa day for your senses either. Let's begin with the ambiance. Upon entry, I was greeted by the familiar "Eau de Lemon-Chemical-Meets-Regret" scent, which is always a promising start. The floors were mostly dry, save for one suspicious puddle that seemed sentient and probably had a name. (I called it "Gerald." We're cool now.) Now, the urinal situation. Oh boy. There it was. A display that defied logic, biology, and basic decency: a half-eaten muffin perched like a sad gargoyle on the lip of the urinal. Was it blueberry or possibly banana nut? Either way, questioning every decision that led it to this point in its short, crumb-filled life. Was this a snack break gone wrong? A protest? A new form of passive-aggressive art installation? My order got messed up three times, I went to get my drink and it took them way to long to give it to me even though they already had it and I had to ask for them to give it to me. We ordered 2 McChicken Sandwiches with the BOGO for $1 - great tasty deal! In addition, we had 2 sodas and an order of small fries. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There service was so bad I had to leave I waited for 20 minutes in the line then got some of my food but they forgot the double cheeseburger then I asked a worker there and I asked her that they forgot my double cheeseburger and she said we'll go tell 'em and I asked well I have kids in the car can you tell them and she said fine. Then I waited another 10 minutes and no one brought it out so I had ti ask another worker and then waited 5 minutes and finally they brought it out but they brang out a cheeseburger not a double so I had to walk in the store and go tell them I ordered a double and they were like prove it and I said show me the recipe and one of the workers took the cheeseburger out of MY hands and threw it away and finally they gave me the right one. read more

I've been to my fair share of McDonalds, but this was by far the best in terms of service. Maybe it's southern hospitality or maybe it's just this location, but all the employees were so polite and good about making sure we had everything we needed. We had some mishaps on ordering, but the staff really went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. And the restroom has a cool feature where you can open the door with your foot so you don't have to touch the door handle and can avoid getting your freshly washed hands dirty. Extra points for being super clean too! read more

Stumbled into this McDonalds on the way back north. I didn't eat anything but fries but they were hot and fresh and hit the spot. One thing I LOVED was the bathroom. It was clean. There was sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, and soap of course. The sinks worked and there were paper towels annnnnnnnnd they had a hands free door opener that you kicked so you didn't have to touch a thing!!! It was a germaphobes dream bathroom. Now I could be certain that my fingers would be clean to handle those fries. read more

Then she says oh you wanted the meal oh okay. We get to the window, I check the bag and I'm missing the additional hash brown and there is no cheese on the sandwiches. I have been here quite often and have received great service. No problems. I've been through breakfast, lunch, and dinner time frame. I would highly recommend this McDonald's whether you live here or you're passing through I-95. If you are in a hurry and the line is long, they have the new digital kiosk machine where you can make your own orders really quick without waiting. The only time that I have found it to have trash on the floor was one the high school kids arrive and they make a mess. Other than that I give this McDonald's a five star. read more

My family and I ordered three big mac meals, a quarter pounder, and a happy meal. We walked away with only three big macs and drinks. We sat at the drive-thru for thirty minutes and were not updated on the status of our order the entire time, after about twenty minutes we got out and asked for our money back. They suggested that the problem was on us because we "ordered six fries" (we did not) and took their sweet time giving us the refund. Stopped here while on a road trip to use the bathroom. I walk into the ladies room and it was being cleaned. Obviously that is a good thing. I go to use the one stall available and see that it is covered in spray cleaner. I ask the lady who is cleaning if it is ok for me to use that stall (expecting that she would wipe it down and finish it first) she then says "yea you can use it, you just might have to wipe down the spray cleaner on the top of the seat." While I appreciate that the bathroom was freshly cleaned, what I do not appreciate is as the customer, being told to finish cleaning the toilet before I use it. read more

The gentleman working out front at the kiosk was so nice and helpful. He held the door for customers. He helped us at the kiosk. He took orders for people at the kiosk. He took our trash for us. He checked in on us to see if we were doing ok and needed anything. Such a nice guy. I didn't get his name. Also noted the whole rest of the crew was very friendly and working hard. One person was ensuring the restaurant was well kept by cleaning the tables and floors. Well done! We don't live near here and were passing through but glad we had such a positive experience. MAD to GLAD ! On Memorial Day 2018, 12:50 pm, we stopped for lunch at this Mc D's at 921 W. Broad St. St. Pauls, NC. We have had problems in the past with orders for 6 people thru the drive-thru so I decided to go to do a take-out order and get back on the road. We bought Dbl Qtr cheeseburger meals, couple McChickens, 2-20 piece nugget boxes (Also, asked, Please may we have some extra honey mustard to go w/ all the nuggets), large fry & couple extra drinks. (the receipt showed 7 honey mustard sauce packs- no charge) After paying and waiting a few mins, the General Manager (not sure of her name) of the store handed me the bags. I simply asked her if everything was in the bag and she looked at me like I was a darn fool for asking such a dumb question and exclaimed "of course!" Hmmmm... so we got on the I-95 headed home and when we got all the food distributed around the van, "of course" they didn't give us the large fry we ordered and also NO honey mustard! NOT ONE CONTAINER OF HONEY MUSTARD TO GO WITH 40 CHICKEN NUGGETS! Next time I will ask them to pull it all out and check off the receipt as they re-pack the bag. Now for the "Good Stuff"... So, I called back and talked to the wonderful Shift Manager, Sarah Wright. She was most apologetic and was upset for that to have happened, and even asked us to go to the next store south, that is one of theirs too, and they would make the order right, but we had already passed that exit. She said she would see what she could do to make it right and actually sent me a $10 gift card in the mail along with a handwritten letter explaining how she appreciated my business and was sorry for what had happened. To say the least, it was a first to get a Shift Manager to care enough and actually send a gift card and a handwritten letter to a customer for a problem! Kudo's to her and hope she soon gets a promotion! Good chance we will stop there again and hope that Sarah Wright is managing the store and not the General Manager next time. Luke read more
