I've ordered breakfast from this location dozens of times during peak breakfast hours. This McDonalds is one of the cleanest facilities I've been to. The women's bathroom is always spotless and the same can be said about the rest of the customer facing area -- tables, floors, ordering counters, outside parking lot and store entrance. No trash overflowing and no fingerprints on the doors. Every orders I've made has been consistently filled accurately with no more than 5 minutes wait. I like how often I see the employees I've encountered genuinely pleasant and upbeat. You don't see that very often elsewhere. We ordered iced coffee with different modifications-- husband likes his with 5 creamers and extra caramel. Mine with one extra creamer and extra caramel. Both orders were filled accurately which we were both pleased. Many places give us the coffee as is during peak hours. I don't blame them when it happens but still. What they did was precook patties and when you ask for no onion they slap one of those cold pre cooked patties on a bun - yeah for SURE. The cheese and patty were both cold. And then decided to give you what THEY think you should get not what YOU ordered...which was 'no onion.' Why get mad and go back...they're McDonalds...they're never gonna get it right. Of course when I picked them up, I immediately checked to make sure I got my order right and of course they did not put any pickles on the burgers. I told the drive-through guy. This McDonald's is rather busy... all the time. There's no lee-way when it comes to ordering lunch a minute early, but even though they want you to stick to the schedule, they will take about 15-20 minutes to create your order, and there's a guarantee that it will be messy or incorrectly made. This specific location is bearable for the deal you're getting, but I cant reiterate enough, you get what you pay for. The cream in my coffee tasted like spoiled milk, and my Mac Jr.'s left me wanting for more. All I found at this McDonald's was impatience and heartburn. Not worth it, to be honest. I feel like I shouldn't even have to review a McDonalds because my experience is pretty much the same at all of them. This McDonalds is particular though, I always experience problems. My last visit was the one that pushed me over the edge though. I ordered my food at 9:14: 1 McDouble Meal with an Egg Nogg Shake. Over 5 minutes had passed before the cashier mentioned their shake machine was not working, so the manager had offered a Smoothie instead - which I agreed to. I got a 3/4 full smoothie, smh. I continued to wait, and wait, while only 2 more customers came in and got their food. It wasn't until 9:45 that I had received my food. This is an extreme situation but very frequently it takes close to 10 minutes for an order. If you're a late bird, good luck with the service past 11pm. Some very rude employees, and be prepared to stand at the register waiting to order while no one wants to ring you up. The physical image of the store is fine though, they usually have an employee cleaning tables or floors at all times. Ketchup and Sweet Tea are usually out of order more than half of the time though. read more

We took our kids up to DC for a day at the Smithsonians and stopped here on the way home. Traffic had been horrible on I-95 (shock, I know) and since the kids had been so good we decided to take a break, pull off, and reward them with some ice cream. This review is about one of the employees working that day, a woman named Erin (or Erica, maybe?). Like many of the other reviewers have noted, this place was BUSY. It took a very long time for the sundaes to arrive (though it is worth noting that everyone was appropriately apologetic - we experienced none of the rudeness some of the other reviewers described), and my kids were getting restless. Erin - who I should note had already finished her shift - came over and entertained my kids while we waited. She noticed that my son also has Down syndrome and said "he's like me!," which my son loved. She talked to my kids, made them laugh, and made what could have been a tedious situation very pleasant. read more

Stopping by on a long road trip the day after Christmas, we ordered in the restaurant. While waiting for our food, a customer went from the dining area to a staff member with a sandwich he had not ordered, an egg and meat biscuit. I saw the staff worker (wearing a black shirt, so she was a manager?) put the customer's sandwich down in the food prep area (where I couldn't see it). A few minutes later she gave me our bag of four sandwiches. After opening it on the interstate, we discovered that instead of the egg mcmuffin we'd ordered, we got this hand-me-down sandwich. First of all, this McDonald's employee gave us the wrong order. Secondly, it is unacceptable to give one customer's sandwich that they had handled to another customer.
