I entered about 9:45 on a weeknight. I used the order kiosk as I do when I'm at any McD's just to make sure at least the order is accurate. There was one employee that was doing double duty of cleaning and running the front register. She was at least courteous and checking to make sure people had been served before going back to cleaning. I ordered the Quarter Pounder meal to go. Ready with acceptable wait time. NEVER AGAIN! We ordered three Egg MCMuffins, but the MCMuffin part was clearly made with biscuit dough. It was dense, doughy and not an English muffin. I spoke with the manager and asked her if there was a mistake and biscuit mix was accidentally used to cook the muffins. She said no, this is their new recipe. She also said she didn't like it either. I have checked, McDonald's has not changed the recipe for the bread they use in the egg McMuffin, at least not in any other McDonalds. I'm including the photos so you can see there are clearly no holes like you find in the egg McMuffin bread, this was biscuit dough cooked to look like McMuffin bread. It just did not taste good. I am just getting home from there now and went thru the drive thru ordered 3 McDonald's a 6pc nugget and 2 apple pies went thru the line and 1st thing was no apple pies so I went inside and was told they were supposed to tell me it would be 10 minutes for the apple pies but did not then was told they don't even have apple pies right now but the point is they were just going to take my money for the pies and rather than tell me the situation just take the money and try to get away with me going all the way home without my pies!!! No rating for the McDonalds in Tarboro NC.If I could give it a negative rating I would. I ordered the food, then drove to the first window where no one was standing. I then proceed to the next window and told the young lady what I ordered and she advised me that I did not pay for my food. I then told her that no one was at the first window. And then we waited for about thirty five minutes. Then got the food. Quarter pounder, fry and a drink. Was trying to help out a homeless person and had to sit there waiting on the food while my ice cream that I had just purchased from Foodlion melted. I rarely get food from McDonalds and now it will be even more rare. I understand the situation in this country bad and all businesses are having trouble hiring quality employees. This McDonald's in Tarboro is to be avoided. Two months ago I went to through the drive-thru and when I gave the cashier my care, she rung my card up for some other order. And today, through the same drive-thru they got my order wrong and I heard one of the cashier saying I didn't say that. This McDonald's has the worst customer service and a manager with non managerial skills what so ever. I came late and order a quarter pounder and nuggets. When I got home at 1am the burger was raw. For starters the manager Teresa or Bird is very disrespectful and her employees are as well. Arrive there at 3am to order food and the lines wasn't busy at all a total of five cars to handle 3 out if the 5 cars hit their food my car and the other car had to wait 45 minutes at menu screen and nobody ever came up to take our order so me and the other car pulled around to the second window to see what the issue was. When we got to the window they proceeded to say that they couldn't serve us cause we didn't order at the menu screen. I proceeded to explain how we've been sitting at the screen for 45 minutes and asked to speak to a manager, the manager bird never came to the video and told her employees to shut the window when we asked to speak to her were still waiting for explanation how they serve 3 cars before us and now all of a sudden they're system is down and not working and told us to go to Waffle House . Still no manger came to the window to address the situation only sent her employees to deal with the complaints and unprofessionalism on the managers behalf. We drove around to the menu screen again where the manager was being rude on the screen saying that her system is down and she had people to call out on her which is understandable but your not suppose to take your anger out on the customers I said all we wanted to do was to speak to you directly and not to your other employees that rudely kept shutting window in our faces we just want food she said well I already ate when I explained that we were hungry and just wanted to order . She called the police on us and then proceeded to come out when all of it could have been resolved in the beginning if she would have been a manager and came to address the situation. Let me just say I have visited this restaurant 5 times in the last 45 days and everytime I go through the drive thru they never get the order right. But yet and still I was determined to believe it was just coincidence. I came through the drive through at 4:55pm 11/14/2016, placed order for my family....3 Big Macs, 1 10 pce nugget, 2 medium fries and a Mc Rib combo with Dr. Pepper. Paid and moved forward, got 3 fries handed to me and my Coke (yeah not Dr.Pepper) at 5:0pm and asked to pull forward for my order. Pulled up and another car that was behind me pulled in beside me also to wait for their order. 5:15pm young lady walked to my vehicle and said here's your order wait what did you have, big surprise not my order it was the lady beside me that was walking back in with my order they gave her wrong. No one come to tell us anything, at 5:23pm I finally take my reciept and walk in, all for the manager and the young man calls a nice man named Cedric to help me, I begin in a low voice to tell him what was happening and that is been over 20 mintues with wrong food then no food and no contact, lady whom I don't know who she is at this point cause remember I asked to speak to the manager and was speaking to Cedric whom I believed to be the manager, she interrupted my convo loudly and said we making that mess right now. I said excuse me please I'm taking to the manager about this whole situation. She doesn't present herself as a manager nor does she have a name tag, but Cedric does and I notice it says Assistant Manager, I tell him still not knowing she is the manager that I would like my meal refunded and remade die to the inconvenience. She rushes over to the counter in front of a group of people and says well you lost your mind, you ain't gonna tell me what to do....never told her what to do, that's just common courtesy, I ask her for corp number she tears off the paper from register and starts writing number and her name, I said can you please listen to me I'm trying to tell you that I'm a customer and you have made my experience unsatisfactory, she said yeah well YALL MADE OUR LIVE UNSATISFACTORY FOR YEARS, I was not sure right away what she meant until the boy behind me said that's right she probably owned slaves. So I'm a white lady and she is a black woman that says this, just to clarify what the comment actually must have meant. I said I'm definitely calling corp now, she said go ahead they ain't gonna do shit, I will just deny it all, I said your workers heard you, she said no they hear what I say they hear if they like their hours. I said if course you have cameras, she said yeah no auto bitch. And walked away, a lady beside me said something about Trump, and Renee Scott told me to kiss her black ass. I'm discussed with this restaurant and I'm not gonna let this situation go, I want her held accountable for her complete disregard for my time, money and feelings.
