What can I say, I came here for a refreshing shake and I got what I came for. If you like ice cream consistency shakes come here. The service was some of the best I've ever experienced at a cook out. They sometimes fall short on actual good customer service, due to not having enough staff to serve people when they come up to the speaker. Which there again most def causes problems and/or issues arise that are out of your control... etc. read more

Stop by this Cookout because it was the nearest quick stop on my way back to work. I order a tray with the double burger, fries, chicken nuggets and a water. My order was completed properly and all the food was hot. I received three chicken nuggets but understand it is considered a "side". They honestly didn't have a whole lot of taste so the dipping sauce definitely gave them some flavor. The fries were well seasoned and the burger is chargrilled and it was one of the tastier burgers I've had from a fast food restaurant lately. I will definitely be back to get one of those again. The lady that took my order was very professional and helpful. As far as the aesthetics of the restaurant it looked like it was maintained , however, all the "stuff" around the perimeter of the location gives off a junky and not cared for impression. It's fast but not good. Food quality was inferior. The hot dog reminded me of the ones you buy at the grocery store in an eight pack, very salty and small. The chicken sandwich was tough and chewy. The fries were mostly broken pieces. The soda came in the biggest styrofoam cup I have ever laid eyes on. Friendly staff. Prices were a bargain. read more

I've only tried the milkshakes but I highly recommend them! They're so thick you usually have to eat them with a spoon and often include bigger pieces of fruit if you have a fruit flavored one. This is a plus for me! They have over 30 different flavors so you have plenty of options to choose from. My favorite flavor is the Banana Pineapple so far but I'm slowly trying all the flavors that I'm interested in. They have two drive thru lines and a walk up option and although the lines can be long sometimes, they move fast. Service has been friendly and efficient all the times I've been here. I highly recommend stopping by to grab a shake (or more) here! read more

There I sat, rubbing my eyes with sweaty palms as my three children turned into ravenous wolves attempting to devour each other as we approached the end of the first day in the line. It was by the third day and my truck was running on fumes before we approached the ordering stand. A loud crackle screeched through my truck window as I called for help, eagerly expecting a care package of monumental proportions. I ordered the biggest burger on the menu. The kids, chicken fingers to replace the ones they had gnawed off each other. My girlfriend, a milk shake and a Diet Coke. By day four, our care package arrived. A fair price, we expected the food would be gone before we pulled into the parking lot. Disastrously, the wide eyed staff clearly broken in spirit, packed our bags with trash. Inedible, trash buns covered 2 charcoal briquettes, 2 soggy pieces of lettuce with cheese that smelled as if it had just been scooped from the factories spoiled curd discharge piping. The dog wouldn't touch it. The chicken fingers were useless. On the bright side, this joint has stayed in business throughout the pandemic, conveniently COVID-19 eliminates taste and smell and clearly this cook out has reaped the rewards. The Diet Coke wasn't bad, a little flat but at least we didn't die of thirst. read more

Yeah, you can't go in because of Covid, but best fast food place I have ever eaten at. All their locations that I have stopped at, are consistent in quality. I usually smoke my own pulled pork, but if they are close, why bother. Cheaper and (I hate to say) better than mine. You do not need sauce. Honestly, try it without sauce. Have them add slaw to it and it is awesome. Burger is, well I don't know, because I never have gotten past the barbecue. Oh, they sometime sell a corn dog will barbecue. Even if the don't have that special, get a corn dog, as it is really good and crispy. Reminds one of corn dogs you got as a kid at the fair. read more

I was stopped in and ordered their big double burger and what I ended up with was a hamburger smaller than a McDonald's cheeseburger and the patties were the same thickness but smaller. The value for the food is not there. The flavor in the meat is average and the customer service was not very well. I asked for their cookout sauce and it was like I had asked for. The hotdog with chili cheese fries go very well with the shakes. I was mad when I found out that they stop selling the footlong and we need you to bring it back. If it's your first time here order the cookout tray. (You can't beat the deal. A burger, hush puppies, fries and a Cheerwine. Under $5.) My favorite milkshake is the watermelon shake is to die for. Check you tray before you leave! Food is always good and quick, but often times they forget to put cheese on my fries. This the best place for all people that want good food and they have a lot good options and great place and everybody needs to try this place. Rating today is solely on the customer service. Went thru drive-thru at 205 and had to ask the guy working the driver's window side 3 x for my correct change. Geez, if you can't count change and at read your register because it tells you how much to give back. I would bet his drawer is off today ... but he knew exactly how much he owed me. My change was to be $14.42 ... he gave me $14.30 ... then 2 pennies and then, after I rattled his window, he had to "go get change" and handed me the rest of my hard-earned coin. Food was ok, service was terrible. I asked for honey mustard with my nuggets and didn't get any, they didn't even give me napkins in my bag. I was leaning all the way over to reach and get my food and the lady was barely sticking her hand out the window. I should've just gotten out of my car and walked up to the window and gotten it because apparently this woman couldn't reach out the drive they window. Not your typical fast food. You can get hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ... All with chili and cheese if you choose. They have a ton of different flavor milkshakes. The menu is unusually HUGE for fast food and there are 2 drive thru windows so there are never long lines. read more

Well, I'm a northerner that's a fan of Cook out. Everything I've had [or stole from my family] has been great. Hot dogs, burgers, fries, chicken tenders. I'd like to also add the list of seemingly 100 flavors of shakes is awesome, just so overwhelming that I've never tried any other than strawberry. I got a shake. The shake was good a solid thick and creamy shake however my friends shake was runny and sad not a real American shake. Also my shake took 10 minutes and when I was told why it was because they forgot about me. Overall my friends shake included I would put the food rating on this experience a 6/10 and the customer service a 3/10 while yes my order was discarded and forgotten about I was treated kindly. read more
