Worst experience I've had at any restaurant in quite some time. Hit up the drive-thru for a couple of burgers for myself and some friends around 12:30 on Sunday, and ended up getting parked and waiting for almost 25 minutes. Finally got fed up and went inside and asked to speak to a manager. The most unhelpful manager came out and literally said "I have two 14 year olds back there, what do you want me to do?". I hope the owner of the franchise sees this; you want to work on your staffing, starting by firing that manager and hiring more folks to work. Will not be back. read more

My wife and I went through today, 7/8/2024. There were 6 cars pulled to the side waiting on food. We ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal, a double cheeseburger and a regular fry. In all we waited about 15 minutes. Once we got home, and my wife bit into her cheeseburger, she realized there was no patty. As a matter of fact, none of the 3 burgers had burger patties on them. Two stars is probably generous. Everyone from start of order to finish is monotone and looks unhappy to see you. Unfortunately the food is not any better. I had a McCrispy. It's about the size of a slider. With a large fry and no drink, this "meal" was nearly $9. The sandwich came with 3 pickles, stacked. It's bland, dry and unappetizing. I am done playing the "pull forward" game. McDonald's didn't like hearing this and called the police on me. Prior to the visit that prompted this review, I had two visits in a row where I was asked to pull forward into a parking space and wait for my food. Both times I sat in the parking space for 10+ minutes, and then had the wrong food brought out to me, requiring me to go in and wait even longer to have the order corrected. This time, I thought I had a fool proof plan. I ordered only 2 double cheeseburgers. When I got to the food window, I was asked to pull forward so I politely refused, citing my previous bad experiences with the system. The manager ended up coming to the window, telling me about how I was preventing them from helping their other customers. I responded that the only thing preventing them from helping other customers was them not delivering my food that was paid for, which I could now see sitting in a bag on the counter behind the manager. Instead of handing me my food (you know, so that they could get to helping the other customers), the manager forced me to take a refund and threatened to call the police if I did not leave, all because I did not play their little game. I completely understand the need to pull forward large orders, or orders in which food is not ready but to pull me forward for TWO DOUBLE CHEESEBURGERS is absurd. The meat for Double Cheeseburgers is not cooked to order, it is hot and ready sitting inside a heating cabinet. For sure the worst McDonalds we've ever been too. My fiancé and I literally left cracking up because of how comically bad the experience was. We were both servers, so we tend to be very forgiving when it comes to mistakes, especially on a bad day, but here's the break down.. - forgot our entree, and messed up another - went back through to get our stuff again, got the missed entree, which we later turned out to be some super raw nugs so we ended up tossing them out. - the messed up entree was a #2 with no onions, super simple... the first we got was covered in enough mayo to drown an infant, when we went back through to get the correct order, we repeated the original order on four separate occasions to three different people and it still ended up being wrong (pictured) - like I said, we left the place laughing at how terrible it was, and are still laughing about it now, but it's still super frustrating to not get what you pay & wait for. It never fails I have lived by this McDonald's now for over eight years. And it is the title says it never fails. The owner for McDonald's, or the one who started it would be rolling over in his grave, knowing how sad his customer service has turned out to be. And not to mention the basics of food, safety, and or putting food together. Once again, I had a little bit of hope. Plus I was a little hungry. So I stopped to get me a standard bagel, steak, egg, and cheese. I asked for no sauce. What they call breakfast sauce. And once I get it through the drive-through, what happens? I check the order and lo and behold, what's on it? Mayonnaise BS that I did not ask for. I think it's sad that the people that work for McDonald's, have a specific job, and do not take pride in anything that they do. Including on how they treat people and themselves. This morning, on my way in to get my money back from the screw up order, and employee runs from their car to the front door as I'm trying to open the door pushes me out of the way. I asked are you late for work? His reply was no. I'm just cold and you're in my way. The rudeness of the store is gotten out of control. I personally along with my family will never return to this location again. I would rather go to the one at the bottom in Latonia., at least there, they get customer service right some days. Here's a word of advice. Go back to the old ways and standards. Stop hiring morons who don't know their butt from a hole in the wall. Hold your employees accountable for their attitudes, their responses, and how the business is ran. Because as of this moment, nothing but a bunch of sad, depressed, ignorant individuals work there. Went thru the drive thru, ALL 4 cars ahead of me were directed to a parking spot, I order a 1/4 with cheese and large fries, had to pull forward into the last pick up spot. When I got to the pick up window I asked if the sauce was in the bag and was told yes. Low and behold when I got home there wasn't any sauce. I must give this McDonald's credit... I have yet to be disappointed. I went in there the other day and the lady had us taste the fries to make sure we thought they tasted OK because she was afraid the grease needed changed and didn't want to give us bad fries. I know this sounds corny - but I was appreciative. She was genuinely friendly, not a trait you find at too many McDonalds. Another time I accidentally dropped my (dog's) ice cream cone on the floor. This was the worst service I have ever received at this location. It took 10 minutes just to get from the Drive-through to the window to get our food. We ordered 2 large sweet teas and 2 sausage mcmuffins and only got our sweet teas then had to pull up into a carry out spot, took another 20 minutes to get our mcmuffins and they were cold in every way. While we were waiting the other 3 cars behind us got their food and ordered more than us, again worse service ever. read more

This was the most disgusting McDonald's I have ever been in. It was filthy and smelled so bad. The floors were covered in dirt, grime, and food. The tables were all filthy. I thought that maybe they had just had a rush prior to our arrival, but they weren't busy the entire hour we were there. When we went to sit down and every table was filthy, we had to ask if someone could wipe one down for us. We stood by a table and a teen came out and made a half-a$$'ed effort to wipe a few tables down. After doing a few other tables, he walks to where we were and swipes the table. I still I had to re-wipe because seeds and such were still lying all over. They never had anyone come back in to do anymore cleaning while we were there either. If you take a look at the walls, doors, and baseboards-you can tell that cleaning is not a high priority for them-so it wasn't just a rush time. I don't even want to think about what the cooking area looks like... Just nasty. Stay away until it has better management! We went to this one because it was the only one around with a play place. This place is awful and always has been. It is slow and they have (in my estimation) a 75% goof-up rate. When I lived in this area, I would drive down the hill to Latonia for my McD's fix. We went today about 2pm. It was disgustingly dirty employees standing around doing nothing while food is all over the floor no place to sit especially in the play area. Kids are running around getting food all over their feet and tracking it into the play area one child had even cut his foot on something and he was still continuing to run around in the play area. We talked to the manager about the sock policy and he said no they don't enforce it but they encourage it, well that's a joke because there's no signs whatsoever stating the fact that they even have a sock policy more or less encourage it. When we asked about getting the tables cleaned he refered an employee as a "little girl" that he had a little girl cleaning the lobby.
