Had a meeting to attend to and it happened here. Got the appetizer of soft pretzels. 3 sticks that came with three types of cheeses. All decent though the horseradish one does take a getting used to. They have this burger called the snack Bru burger (3 oz) for those with smaller appetite. Alsobtried the he teriyaki salmon sandwich - decent. Yes, a little fancy with the menu (heck they make their own ketchup) and maybe more than what you want to pay for a burger but its pretty good every once in a while. read more

Service was extremely slow. We sat and waited to order drinks for over 20 min. One order was brought and then the other entree not for another 10 min. Drink machine wasn't working properly so we had to flag someone down to replace it. Sauces were also missing from order. Server was very friendly but service was just poor due to previous issues mentioned. Food quality was decent but priced high. Have had better experiences here before but his was not great experience and would think twice about coming back anytime soon. read more

I ordered a carryout of a large Gorgon berry salad. I asked for light bacon and 2 cups of dressing. I've always had good luck at this location but not this time. The salad was old and brown, no bacon and hardly any cheese. They did manage to give me two cups of dressing. Unfortunately I didn't open the container til I got home. If I didn't live 25 minutes away I would have gone back. I didn't eat it but the garbage disposal did. read more

Unfortunately this place is just over priced bar food. $50 on a burger (so so), chicken sandwich (alright but very greasy), side of Mac n cheese (basically butter noodles 0/10), chili cheese fries (0/10 fries are horrible), and a milkshake (cheaper and taste better across the parking lot at graters). Disappointed with the food for the price it was. I had much higher hopes. The restaurant was clean and a nice chill environment. Cannot speak on the service because we did take out. We love Bru Burger!!! Burgers are always really good, the salads are also great...we love the gorgenberry pecan salad. The restaurant is always clean and there's usually not a wait. We enjoy sitting outside and they have a covered patio. We were sad that they got rid of our favorite goat cheese dip and the burger that had goat cheese on it. We also love the cod sandwich which was taken off the menu but our local restaurant in KY kept. But we will keep coming back and visit probably once a month. read more

Bru Burger has several locations in. the Cincinnati area. This is the first my wife and I went to and probably my favorite. I've loved every burger I've tried. The Mexicali and the Bleu Cheese burgers are my favorite. The drink specials always look good and there's a really imaginative cocktail menu. We made a reservation late this Saturday afternoon through their website, and had no problem getting seated at our table as soon as we arrived. The restaurant was full, but not overcrowded. He had the double bacon burger, which was two 4 Oz Pattie's with bacon in between and on top, and he loved it! I had a basic burger (which is 8oz.) with onions, tomato and lettuce, and it was perfect. Fries were tasty, and their house ketchup was slightly sweet and delicious. Drinks were good, too. He had a Kentucky Mule, and I had house Cabernet. We'll be back whenever we want a good sit down experience for a good burger and fries! read more

Easy to find, great location, and parking. You get what you pay for is how we see it. The burgers were big and juicy, the onion rings was crunchy and delicious, the salad was refreshing and a great size, the chicken fingers was probably some of the best we had. Bru Burger is consistently a delicious burger joint. I don't love that it's not super local, but it is delicious, good price point and quick service for a sit down. We started with the BBQ nachos which are super good! Probably my favorite non-Mexican place to get nachos. Very creamy cheese sauce without being overwhelming. A large variety of burgers to pick from! My favorite is typically the Provencal Burgers, but tonight I got the Stilton Bleu Burger which had a killer truffle aioli! Fries are the perfect boardwalk fries. Their onion rings are really hearty onion rings - actual onion not the whimpy little flimsy ones you often get. Finally a place in Northern Kentucky that has excellent burgers such as Mexicali burgers melt your face burger lamb burger and bourbon bacon among many others. Great drinks my drink of choice was peach margarita. Our group all got burgers with sides of onion rings French fries or coleslaw. I decided on a bru burger with tallegio cheese bacon and tomato jam with carmelized onions. Enough said. First time trying this place out and it was pretty good overall. The burgers were a decent size and the staff was friendly with a relaxing ambiance since it wasn't crowded. We had the beginning burger and the bourbon burger. I wasn't fond of the bourbon sauce but I think I would give it another try next time with a different burger. This place was awesome. We came at about 8:30 on a Friday. There was a short wait, but I think it was so crowded since they just opened. Our server was friendly and new a lot about everything on the menu. I was little worried that I wouldn't find a burger that I liked, but I ended up loving the Bru Burger. They gave my brother the wrong burger and he didn't notice until having a bite of it. They brought a box out for it and got his right burger out within 10 minutes. Their onion rings were so good. There's not much onion to the so it's basically all crispy breading. The fries were really good too. They make them there. They make their own ketchup and it tasted great with the onion rings. The waitress brought out a whisky fudge brownie for my parents anniversary. It was delicious. I was worried that the whisky taste would be too strong but it wasn't. I would come back and just get that. I think this location will be very popular. I'm sure it'll be around for a long time. read more

Typical burger restaurant. To start off I ordered sweet tea, and it tasted like sugar water so I ended up getting water. I chose the lamb burger since I am a huge fan of lamb. Sadly, my lamb was under seasoned but after adding salt it was much better. The in-house cole slaw was bland. My daughters Bru Burger was the worst I've ever tasted. It tasted like the burger meat was mixed with manure. I couldn't believe it, I was shocked! My daughter didn't eat it and don't blame her. The triple dip appetizer was very good. This understated neighborhood spot has all the things you want on a Friday night: quick service, a diverse drink menu, and delicious food. We stopped in excited to try the locally sourced burgers and we weren't disappointed! I tried the Garlic-Three cheese burger with fries. The meat was perfectly cooked, but the cheese was still pretty solid and unmelted and I have to admit, I scrapped the garlic cloves off, but I attribute this to personal preference and not an error on their part. My companion tried the Beginning burger and had nothing but compliments for the taste. We shared the Bru fries as an appetizer and felt the fries were a tad over cooked but the accompanying dipping sauces were a 10/10! Our server was a joy and we appreciated the prompt service. Came in a little after 1pm on Friday for lunch had to sit at the bar. It's a little noisy to be honest. ordered the bourbon burger and fries. Both were very good and cooked as ordered. Companion had a salad with kenwa and grilled portobello mushroom. I sampled it and it was very good. We both had tea to drink. I would have given it 5 stars except for the gurl waiting on us at the bar. Didn't really feel like she paid much attention to us or checked back on us. Never was offered a refill on my drink had to ask to order had to ask for my check. The receipt was not itemized so not exactly sure of the price of each item. I'll visit again but will make sure some else waits on us. read more

Aside from the wait, we were all quite pleased with our food. I ordered the Mexicali BBQ burger & it had ALL the flavors: savory, sweet, some heat, crunch... it was well-seasoned & quite delicious.
