Charcuterie board for four

Incredible decor, and ambience, like historic but well kept. They had just put up Christmas decorations when we went, and it was very festive in a warm way. The food was incredible. I could not believe that this place was not packed to the gills. The filet mignon was one of the best steaks I've had this year. The sides and desserts were lovely, the wine prices weren't overinflated, and the service was perfect. This place could easily compete with The Precinct. Take folks here you want to treat right.

This was our first visit to McCollum's and we love the look of the restaurant. I feel that the prices for the entrées are very fair with what you get, but I feel like their sides are a little overpriced and nine dollars for six rolls and an additional three dollars if you need extra butter is a bit over-the-top to me. My husband said the pork chop was amazing. I got the short rib gnocchi and it was fine, but it would not be a do over for me. I did not think it had much taste. We would definitely give the restaurant another try.

Pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes. Yummy!

The food, the service were perfect. Jennifer and her team have something special here. It's a beautiful space that will only get better with the outdoor addition in the spring. We will be returning soon.

LOVE!!! I had been to York Street cafe a handful of times years ago. Went here on a whim for New Years and was so impressed. Staff from the moment we arrived was so kind and personable. They had a prix fixe dinner which we didn't know about when booking reservations, I don't eat at many fine dining places so this was a new experience for me but was so happy with everything. I hardly eat meat or fish but this pushed me out of my comfort zone and truly every dish we had I'd order again. Crab cakes and pork belly were shining stars on the menu, for someone who doesn't normally eat either I was beyond impressed. They revamped the space to give a more elegant feel, making it the perfect date night or special occasion dinner. The owner informed us they'd be opening their patio this summer as well as turning the second floor into a lounge. Needless to say I will be back. There are so few places that offer this level of hospitality, quality food and old school atmosphere. They're a true gem and I can't wait to visit again.

Amazing service 10/10. Ryan was very helpful with the menu. Beautiful place for a date! Very friendly and inviting, felt like family.

Exciting new beginnings!

I am sure that during this rebranding it's hard to keep people because business is slow. Our server was great ! She and the bartender were the only people there on the floor. The place was not full but our server the blond hair lady but busting tail, she was hustling she at one point look like she had at least eleven tables, inside and out! She was obviously great at her job but we probably would have ordered more but didn't want her stretch her more than she was! I am assuming maybe some called off or did show up for their shift but with a great server like her, she might not stick around long because she is being stretched thin! Food is great you guys got that down but the atmosphere is what needs improvement! But we will be back the food is worth it!

The location is nice, but definitely its one of those touristy type of spots because of the view of the river. The restaurant was pretty empty for Friday lunch.... Maybe a few patrons here and there but nothing crazy. We ordered a bunch of soup dumplings and their honey walnut shrimp. The soup dumplings were pretty okay, honestly hard to judge only because I am from Southern California and there are a lot of dim. Sum/ dumpling establishments that are so legit. Not too shabby for Cincinnati. Our server was really nice and attentive, she also brought out a nice matcha cheesecake and celebration of my mom's birthday which was really nice. Overall it was a good experience, but nothing amazing.

We were hungry, but not starving. It lasted the whole day. We started with the salads (both of good proportions). My wife had the Caesar, and was happy with it. I had the Chopped salad. The lettuce felt soggy, but the carrots & radishes added texture. It tasted good. The NY Strip was the best I have ever tasted. I usually order mushrooms on my steak,m and this one came with them. The steak had the perfect balance between tenderness and texture to taste and feel just right. I haven't had a steak this good in a long time. My wife was very impressed with the Sea Bass and loved it. The water was very attentive through the main course. As my wife usually eats have the main course, and boxes the rest, it appears the waiter may have waited (in vain) for my wife to finish her Maine course before bringing our desserts. I had the cheesecakes, which arrived when I was at the bathroom. It was good (as cheesecake usually is). My wife had the Key-Lime pie, which was the same. One of the things that sets the Chart House apart from other places is the view. It is on the river front with a great view of Montgomery Inn. The 1 price Easter menu was exceptional.,

Our Server Ben, was personable, very knowledgeable of the menu, and fun to interact with throughout dinner. The restaurant is sophisticated, dimly lit, offering live music in the bar area that could be heard throughout the room. Floor to ceiling windows offered a stunning view of the Ohio River and Cincinnati skyline. This is a must try if you're looking to have a different steakhouse dining experience as MRBL offers sushi and seafood too. Disappointed that they don't offer any soup i.e., a lobster bisque on the menu. And to mention the mussels were less than desirable, small in size for the price and of a better buy at other steakhouses locally. Most sides are shareable and the sushi ordered by a few at our table paired well with other menu items. Highly recommend... Dessert: Lemon cake, fried ice cream, and blueberry cheesecake. Sides: Asian green beans, potato volcano, crispy brussles sprouts, and lobster mac-n-cheese. Steaks: 14oz ribeye, bone-in pork chop, angry dragon roll, lobster sun-kissed roll, and the MRLB Tomahawk. Drinks: Troy's Old Fashioned, Suntory Sazerac, and Fuji Dew Drop Enjoy!

Brian bartender was top notch and did a great job of explaining menu, drinks and specials. Was not pushy or didn't try to steer us towards one item or another. Jalapeño poppers for appetizer was good. Wife got the swamp water mahi mahi with side of jambalaya. She loved it and only offered me 1 bite! I got the swamp water pasta. This was also fantastic! Portions are large and filling. We didn't try any desserts as there was no room Cool vibe to this place. Nice ambiance. You could tell there were many regulars and everyone was very friendly. I'm not a crawfish person (too much work) so I usually get the Louisiana BBQ shrimp (which is NOT BBQ sauce - it's like butter and herbs and it's spicy but in a cumin way, not a Tabasco way). This time I got the wings that come with the same sauce and they are 10/10. Ranch dressing is housemade and the real deal. The char-grilled oysters are not to be missed. Happy hour has deals on both food and drink (as all good happy hours should) and includes oysters. Overall, prices are super fair because the portions are huge and most things come with a side or two. The jambalaya is worth bringing home if you don't have room and the cornbread is moist even the next day. And it's weird but I like the side salads, they aren't just white iceberg lettuce and two cherry tomatoes. Service has always been great. You can't get seated until at least half of your party is there but that's fair. We accidentally got a table for six and had eight show up and they just let us pull up a couple chairs and get in their way but acted like it was no big deal. Get there early because it fills up quick, including the parking lot. It's an old-school restaurant and the decor fits. It's got corny signs, tables made out of wine barrels and a fireplace in the corner. There is outside seating that I haven't sat at (I mean it overlooks a parking lot and there is usually someone smoking but at least it's there). There is a grumpy but capable bartender and young people working the host/ess stand who greet you cheerily and always say goodbye on the way out. Swampwater is right next to the Riverside Antique Mall, so make it a day and do some shopping beforehand. Both are more than worth the visit.

Both were friendly & acknowledged the birthday girl in our party. Atmosphere is great. You could comfortably walk in wearing jeans or come dressed up. Neither would be over or under dressed. The menu has juuuust the right amount of options, which is great! Heather was our waitress & while she was kind, her service skills were lacking. Granted we weren't at a Michelin Star Restaurant, but we also weren't at a dive bar. There was an endless amount of awkward reaching through, over & around when refilling drinks. There were a couple of instances where she actually touched our shoulders to nudge us to the side so she could reach through. Totally not okay during service at a restaurant nicer than a dive bar. We ordered the cheese sticks starter which were so yummy! Highly recommend! A couple of us ordered the Cesar side salad & were highly disappointed. The dressing tasted like it was mayonnaise heavy & then watered down by lettuce that wasn't dried after being rinsed. Even adding tons of extra pepper didn't help. The lettuce also tasted like it has been too wet for too long. The lobster mac was ordered in the group & it was tasty but soooo greasy. So, order with caution. We had the Black N Bleu salad in the group & that was good. The Atlantic Salmon was another dinner ordered & the crust seasoning was delicious! Sadly, the salmon was a bit overdone. It does come with a lobster cream sauce, which confused me. It was only so so & I definitely skipped it entirely. The steamed broccoli was done to perfection though. Not soggy & not too crunchy. We also had the 12oz ribeye & that was great! Flavorful, cooked perfectly! I will add though, that the steak knives need an upgrade. I really wanted to love this place, but we won't return on our next trip to Newport/Cincinnati.
