Ok, so it's a McDonald's... I don't know that I need to get into too deeply here. But I did want to say that I'm not sure why such a low rating by most. I found it to be on-par with most other locations. The ordering process was normal, the staff was normal, and the wait time was not excessive. The food was hot and looked/tasted like normal. I don't know what everyone else is doing/asking for but this was a visit that fit the bill - exactly what you look for when you visit a McDonald's. Don't let the low rating scare you away, this place is a Mickey D's through and through. read more

My family and I were driving through from leaving Florida the kids were hungry so we stopped here before the crossover to lunch. Not really sure why they locked the doors to prepare for the switch, I was able to get inside before breakfast ended. The inside was clean enough. The young man who checked us out must be in training because the manager(black rude lady with short hair) berated him not only in front of me but the other customers waiting to place their orders. We heard her swear a few times repeatedly asking him to lock the door even though it was already locked. Not only did I disagree with her demeanor the other customers were also baffled at her attitude. The food was good just wish we hadn't gotten the side of "tude" with it. There is nothing wrong with correcting your staff there is a professional way to do it though and there is also a place and time. read more

Why encourage customers to use the self service kiosk, take a number to sit on our table, then no one brings our meal? We finally went to check on our not-fast-food and were told "well we called your number...oh you was sitting around the corner." At least 3 of the crew walked to the bathroom while we were sitting there so they knew. Plus one worker kept visiting the ladies room which smelled like marijuana. To one workers credit, she gave us hot fries to replace the now cold ones in our order. (I think she was the manager, but not sure). Won't be going there again. read more

I placed a mobile order and was MAD when I realized I placed it there, just knowing I messed up.. but the desire for that $5 McDouble Meal Deal is something I couldn't ignore, so I went anyways. During my recent visit I received great service. I ordered through the mobile app, provided the code for my order at the speaker and my order was ready when I arrived at the window. Everything in my order was hot, fresh and correct. The Chicken Big Mac is my new favorite menu item. I highly recommend the McCafé Iced French Vanilla Latte. I recommend downloading the mobile app because they have special discounts and you earn reward points for each order that can be redeemed for free food. read more

Meh. The food was classic McDonalds, the service was... sadly classic McDonalds. First off, the menu board is so hard to read and they have 2 of them with 2 places to order. You'd assume these boards are identical. You'd assume incorrectly. Had to pull forward to the 2nd one because the first one didn't show breakfast stuff at 9am - stupid. Ordered and pulled up. Of course they got things wrong and had something on there that I didn't even order and then had something on there that I did order all wrong and mixed up in its execution. I'm lucky that they made a mistake in my favor price-wise, because they read my order back to me perfectly, but entered it wrong and charged me the wrong (lesser) amount for some reason. We stopped here on the way to visit family. We chose this location because a billboard advertised a Play Place. We dined in at this location so we could let the little one run around. We were here for breakfast on a Sunday and ordered a Big Breakfast with Hotcakes and a Sausage McMuffin. The order was correct and we didn't have to wait long for it. The bathrooms were clean at this location. The little one enjoyed running around and it was a good stop off the interstate on our trip. Would we return to this location? If we're hungry and the little one needs to play- definitely will. read more

Probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The cashier had the hardest time taking my order. We had to debate with them about getting us our sweet tea. They never gave us a cup and if they did there was no tea containers in the lobby to fill the cup up with. Bathroom needed cleaned and the garbage cans were full. Very busy and not prepared for it. They have a kids playground, which is why we chose it. The playground was nasty. It also doesn't have the section for the very small children. The wait for food was long and they messed up a few orders ahead of us. We got our food minus a hash brown that came later. We also had given the request for our nugget sauces and didn't get them, so had to stand in line again while our food was getting cold. French fries seemed undercooked. Mc Donald's has its standards. The standard breakfast fare pervades with early AM choices ranging from eggs, sausage, biscuits and even oatmeal. The hash browns that accompany said items are sheathed in a paper sleeve that leaks oily residue. So why was I here? Because one of the kidlets wanted to eat here. After subjecting the family to hours upon hours of driving I felt it was an easy compromise. This is where my story turns. My upbringing has always told me to not waste food. So when we find our tray including an extra hash brown, I should not have felt the need to finish everything or even feel "lucky." The women's bathroom was hot and felt like the heat was blasting. The whole place had bothersome flies hanging about. This fact was quite annoying trying to slurp the last of a warmish way-too sweet orange juice. As I write this I can not believe I did not see the signs. And so 168 miles later off the I-10 I felt it...waves of nausea and sweats...yes the movie- Bridesmaids 'hot lava' does come to mind...ugh. Luckily no one else in my party had my symptoms, but I learned my lesson the hard way. I can easily overlook early teachings and forgo the free hash brown in the future. Will there even be a future with me at the Golden Arches? As this new teaching has taught me: "An extra offering on one's plate does not exact luck it is only that...extra." read more

It's too bad McDonald's has taken such a turn for the worst. I haven't taken the time to write a review because I had hoped it was isolated to our city. Unfortunately it is not. We have encountered more McDonald's that have these same issues: poor service, slow drive thru (compared to competitors), and terrible accuracy (wrong orders more than not). This location was no exception. The hardest part was that the food was also terrible. My hamburger was overcooked so much it was crispy and the fries seemed to be double fried in oil that was 10 days old (tasted funny and were almost chewy). I couldn't even finish my meal. If the owner is reading this, please take note of your reviews. They say a lot about your management style and of what Corporate is overlooking or condoning. I can't believe MCD's doesn't send representatives out to its franchises on occasion to see how things are being run. The complete opposite experience (consistently) can be found at Chick Fil A. For the love of all things sacred, do not eat here. Terrible service. Even worse food. We stopped in for a quick bite. Wife wanted fish, I wanted McRib. No McRib so I reluctantly ordered a Big Mac. Fish was cold. Bun was old and was missing part of the top. The Big Mac patties were cold. It was very obvious they had been cooked hours before. Good thing they applied 6 lbs. of "special sauce" to hide that pesky detail. My wife's fries were lukewarm at best and when she went to the counter to ask for ketchup, she had to wait awhile because the worker was texting on her cell phone and was oblivious, or not, that she was standing there. Anyway, I know it's McDonald's, but decent customer service goes a long way, even when the food is subpar. Too bad both were less than decent. And they want $15/hr. What a joke. read more

I walked into the restaurant and stood at the counter for some time while the employees had their back to the counter. Finally another customer came up and said excuse me and a black male with a shaved head( management I believe) turned around and was obviously annoyed that she was bothering him. Her order was incorrect and she wanted it corrected. He finally looked at me and said "you wanted something?" I placed my order with a sweet tea and He gave me an empty cup. I asked where was the drink counter and he said its over there but we are out of tea . I will bring some out. As I stood there with an empty cup, he grabbed the tea dispenser and disappeared in the back. He returned a few minutes later empty handed and I finally asked another employee if I could get some tea from behind the counter. I I have been here 20 minutes and no tea dispenser has been brought out. My cup is empty and so is my patience. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

Literally the worst McDonald's experience I ever had. It took them 10 minutes to realize I was at the drive thru. Then I ordered a bacon quarter pounder with med coke and fries. I tried to use a coupon and it took them 10 more minutes to figure that out. I got charged for a Big Mac. Received the quarter pounder and coke.
