Stopped by McDonald's and was thrilled to find they had mocha frappes! Since frappes aren't available in my town because of the water issues after Hurricane Helene, this was basically liquid gold. absolute terrible service. waited 40 minutes for our food, ordered 3 medium drinks, said they ran out of medium cups so they were going to give us one large and a small. They got my snak wrap wrong so we asked them to remake it again, then they still made it wrong. this mcdonalds is terrible, they have so many workers, and still taking forever. read more

Visit was approximately 7pm on 02/13/2021. I know you can have really awful days - especially in food service. I always try to be polite at the bare minimum. Seriously, if you do not at least have a fake customer service voice, you don't need to be working with the public. I am very impressed at the level of rudeness exhibited by the woman taking our order. She really took rude behavior to a entirely new level. After each item ordered (I didn't make it through our whole order) I was asked "Is that all?" or "what else?" with increasing levels of frustration and hateful tone of voice. This was complimented by heavy sighs after each item. I was especially impressed when she spoke to another person and told them that she would be with them "as soon as this lady decides to finish her order." I was 100% done at this point and we just left the drive through. (For clarification, the order was for simple things - like a 10 pc chicken nugget and a Dr. Pepper - not a burger without four things and add three others.) I highly recommend the Chick-Fil-A across the street. Much friendlier and more polite. You may be trapped in the drive through, but at least the staff doesn't yell at you while you try to order. :-) read more

These people inappropriately took a little over $12 out of my bank account to pay for another customers food. When I realized it, I went in the next morning to rectify it. Instead of returning my money they tried to give me food in exchange. I told them I wanted my money back 100%. Long story, shortened. After "2" months their owners finally reimbursed me. However, there was no apology, and after 2 months of holding my money and not wanting to let it go, they did not offer any "apology compensation." These people could care less about their customers and that goes all the way up to the owners! Their assistant, Joyce, hung up on me once, when I was trying to explain it all. I can prove my case through my bank account and receipts from McDonalds. And, the McDonalds complaint line is worthless. I will never understand why they did what they did, but it was illegal, & immoral. read more

I came through the Drive Thru today to try the new Double Big Mac I had heard about and when I got home and opened the box I had a great laugh at your practical joke. The "patties" were the size of sausage patties. Hilarious. I'm absolutely dying over here. I did call corporate to express my extreme dissatisfaction for this pathetic excuse for a Big Mac and I hope that they will rethink this horrendously executed scam of a marketing ploy. There was no ice in the ice machine so i had to go to the front dest and ask for ice and the ice had a bunch of black mold in it and then right after they started filling the ice machine with ice from the ice that had mold in it. Went to the McDonalds in Travelers Rest, SC. They are constantly out of pies. However this night they were out of pies, Coke and Large size cups. This is McDonald's you do this for a living how hard is it to have pies,cokes, and some cups get your act together. I went inside to order McChicken Sandwiches for the kiddos. When I went to get a drink for me, I saw the dead flies on top of the drink/ice machine along with the discarded ketchup cup. That was pretty bad, but when combined with the moldy looking front of the machine, I'm afraid I've made my last trip to this particular McDonald's. read more

This is solely based on my visit today . We used the drive Thur . We were greeted quickly and our order was taken . 1 Carmel Sundae to share as we had a meeting. They have "new" cups as not to spill the ice cream. They are awesome ! Can't beat the price $1.35 ! read more

In the past 2 years I have visited the Travelers Rest location. Sometimes I would go several times a week. I was the a little over a week ago and went in to eat. I sat near a window be and ate. I was sitting there a for a little while on my phone but I and look at my table and there was a roach walking across my table. I jumped up and moved my tray and there was another one. I took my trash to the trashcan and went to the counter. I told the lady what had happened but she didn't act as if anything was wrong. First of all I'm sitting behind a car in the outside lane drive thru. She keeps yelling hello hello. Well she looks back at me then just pulls up. Now I'm sitting there. I look up their number call them and ask if someone is going to take the other lanes order. She asked someone in there does she have her ear phones on. Says to me I'm very sorry about that. Only reason I keep coming back is because the double quarter pounders are always fresh, however going through the drive through you have to double check your food every time or you'll have the wrong stuff, and fry boxes are always only half full. Food tastes good but it's slow and you often have to go back a second time to get the right food. They fix their mistakes without issue though read more

I love the hotcakes and sausage here. The service was fine and it didn't take long at all. Mind you I'm not here for lunch, which is the busiest for all restaurants. Ever since McDonald's starting doing 24/7 biscuits, their breakfast has suffered. Whenever I go to this McDonald's for breakfast, I am getting 1 out of 3 types of biscuits. 1) good, fresh biscuit 2) a hard, old biscuit made who knows when 3) a hard, burnt biscuit. My last trip I paid extra to sub white cheddar and egg whiles on the BEC biscuits. Instead I only got white cheddar subbed on hard biscuits. I never see hard biscuits from the competition. read more

Absolutely horrible service. With only 1 lane open in the drive through, I had to wait over 30 minutes to get through the line. I was the 9th car when I got there. I had a discount coupon from the McDonalds app on my phone. The grungy looking guy at the "pay" window read the code with his scanner and said, "this thing hasn't worked all day." After a minute or so his prediction came true- it didn't work. Then he said, "do you want me to go get a manager to try and give you your discount?" Once I made it to the second window, I had to wait 3+ minutes for 10 nuggets and two order of fries. I give it a 1 star because I can't give it a 0. read more

This place is always very busy and yet it's always clean the people are very friendly I did have to wait just a few minutes but considering that I wait 45 min to even sit down at most restaurants i'm ok with 5-10 minute wait people want there food fresh but they think 5 min is a long time read more

This McDonald's had gone downhill fast in the past year! Our orders have been mixed up and wrong more times than they have been right! This seems to be a major problem for this location because it is happening to friends and family members also. The quality and customer service has declined rapidly. Today was the last straw after getting home and seeing that our simple breakfast was all wrong. Sure we could take it back and have them correct it but I would much rather go somewhere else where I can count on the employee serving me at least acknowledge me and most importantly, go somewhere that I can count on getting my order right!
