Always is a good alternative if I don't have time in my day I between classes. The food is most of time good but sometimes the order is wrong. Sometimes the service seems dead but sometimes it's pleasant around the place. I like this McDonald's. Recommend if you're in a rush. read more

I work night shift therefore grabbing a simple meal at McDonalds before work. I get greeted by very rude people every time, making me think is it worth it to go there for a simple mc chicken to get me through the night. To their defense I do have a slight double chin but not bad enough for them to wean me off my second mc chicken for the last 3 times I have gone there. I am always polite and greet them when they open the window to throw the bag at me ("with one mc chicken when I ordered two" ) , and not say a thing like throwing scraps to a pig. Once in a blue moon, I head over to McDonald's during the afternoon/evening. I prefer maccas in the morning and BK in the afternoon, mainly because I had a few bad experiences with Mickey D's in a different town. Every other morning, I grab a few sausage mcmuffins and maybe a cup of coffee before work, and never experienced any types of problems. The mcmuffins are probably my favorite food on any fast food restaurants (that I've been to, at least) and the McD's in town always makes them perfect. I've never had a problem with the staff, one of which is super nice and always engages in convo with me, and the wait time is pretty small. Overall, I'm pretty happy and the McDungheaps in town is probably my favorite out of all the Maccies I've been to. P.S., Please add all day breakfast (ADB)! I know quite a few golden arches in other cities that have it, and once I found out that the Donald McDonald in town didn't have ADB, I was pretty sad and disappointed. A big shout out to the management at this McDonald's! They work so hard! I went through tonight and had to wait a really long time to get through the drive thru and when I got to the window, an exhausted manager kindly gave me my food. There were only 3 people working due to employees that just didn't bother to show up to work. This is one of the better McDonald's I have been to. We had to wait for our food, but I think it tastes so much better when the food is not served immediately from a heat lamp. There's one person who works there who's always high on something and it's so clear. I'm not sure her name, but she's gotten my order wrong every single time because she's so out of it. I just got a bacon & cheese quarter pounder & a coke from here and I've never been so pleased. Every worker was super nice and the burger was made perfectly. Once and awhile I try to give this place a try again and continually am disappointed. Today I ordered two bacon doubles, no pickle, no onion as I have ordered them for my entire life and a large Coke. The order never appeared on the drive up screen but I was instructed to pull forward. After paying it took 4 minutes to receive my order, which was handed to me with no napkins and just an open bag zero personalism. As I drove away I checked the bag and both my burgers had pickles and onions. I turned around and went inside to get a refund. As I confronted the woman who handed me my bag (later identified as "Debra" a shift manager) and asked her if it seemed professional to just hand a bag out the window with me napkins and not folded or anything? She told me she wasn't the one who handed me my bag. I informed another shift manager who was sitting in the seating area who's name I don't recall to check the cameras that Debra was blatantly lying. The lady at the drive thru window was really rude and condescending. Once I pulled up to the window, i waited 20 minutes and still was not assisted. I had to pull up to the next window and was then given attitude for not using the proper window even though the designated person was not at their station. Not impressed to say the least. Every time I go there they get my food order wrong. Not only my order, but three people before us as well. Wait time in the drive up is at least 20 minutes. They are always out of product. Sometimes they close overnight, sometimes they are open. Very inconsistent. I sent a message via McDonals website, and never heard back. It's like the management doesn't care. Probably the slowest service ever at a fast food restaurant. Told my mom I would be home in 20 and it took about 20 minutes for them to make the food. I've been the only one in the drive-through more than once, where I've had to wait around 15 minutes to get my order. When I get my food, I can usually expect it to be very dried out. The food is about the same as any other McDonald's, but the service is the worst I have ever seen. Even after using their stupid kiosks to order, you still have to wait five minutes to pay, and then longer to get your food. Did I mention that there's NO ONE in line. Not a good place to eat, and NEVER ask for the corporate address. I did bc I lost it and needed to check on a letter I sent them. The manager, Jeanie, sent an officer to my home and claimed I was demanding the address so she banned me from the restaurant. But I have a video, which is on youtube now that proves I was not demanding. Not a great place to work either. Many quit b/c of management. I used to sit there 5-6 days a week for 4-8 hrs a day for almost a year doing homework and seen what goes on. Management is only good when corporate is there. Have heard management swear before and holler. Don't give suggestions or point out a dirty table, etc. Management will get pissed at u. Visited with family last month and had the opportunity to experience the best McDonald's I've ever been to...everyone is so professional, pleasant, sincere and welcoming and they also seem to be really enjoying their jobs. The man who stood outside in the freezing weather on December 18th, 2014, carefully adjusting the words on the yellow sign with that long pole symbolized, for me and my family, what an impact one person can make on others. These employees, I hope, will remember me and my visit there that morning...we were so honored to have met them all and if any of them ever find themselves in New York, I would love to show them our McDonald's...thanks again to all of the team in Vermillion! When you order two iced caramel mochas, they should look the same and taste the same. One should not be all caramel and the other a mixture of a lot of chocolate and a little caramel. And when the customer says that it's wrong, you should take it and make a new one that is CORRECT. Maybe then your rating would be higher and I wouldn't be giving you a single star. I would never leave a yelp review but this McDonald's has continued to disappoint me. The past three times I've been there my burger has tasted like actual chemicals. It's also incredibly sloppily made with ketchup everyone and half of the bun basically off the burger. The meat tastes old and is for sure not fresh. The fries always come half full and are either old or burnt. They are continuously out of product and the wait times are forever. My biggest problem though is the lack of customer service. 9/10 times whenever I order from there I'm never greeted at either window. The person at money just takes my card and says nothing. Then at handout I'm either waiting for 5 minutes or my bag is just shoved in my hand without a word said. I've asked for ketchup in the bag multiple times and it's never put in there. I previously worked at a McDonald's location in another city which I was told it the top 3rd best McDonald's location in the world, and I believe it. Too bad 0 stars isn't an option. Routinely slow service, consistently fill orders incorrectly, constantly understaffed, and the staff that is there is just flat out rude. Its like its an inconvenience that they have to serve you food you are paying them to make (or at least warm up). I've never experienced such poor customer service from an establishment, ever. At the end of the day, these folks don't even deserve (or earn, for that matter) the higher minimum wage rates they demand.
