Our second visit to Cee Cee's. This time for dinner. The staff and service here is always top notch and the food is phenomenal! Went with the crispy Nashville hot chicken handheld with the added jalapeños. The house bun grabs your attention but those house made pickles steal the show. The chicken is crispy and pairs well with the honey, arugula, and the jalepenos and honey thyme buffalo sauce add just a little heat without being too hot. Another great meal at Cee Cee's! read more

This was an amazing place to stop in and eat while visiting USD. Our server was so nice and the restaurant was well maintained and had a great ambience. My family all got the Japanese Bbq chicken poki bowls and they were delicious and very filling. So I give you a commented 5 's. read more

Ruscitti and I love trying new places. We are staying the weekend in Vermillion SD and decided to stop in at Cee Cees on a whim while on a walk to see Main Street. The first thing we noticed about Cee Cee's was how amazing beautiful the restaurant is. It reminded us of a turn of the century bank that was renovated into a restaurant. Next, our server (Shalom) was beyond patient and helpful, and explaining each menu and drink item to us. We were not really sure what to expect when ordering our food, but I will say Cee Cees chef did not disappoint. We started with the Easter Island appetizer. A dish consisting of beet hummus, meatballs and baguettes. As well as a dish called Mushroom Toast. Both very very good and very filling. I would have been happy there, but we pushed on and tried the Cheese Steak sandwich and she had the Deaner, a double patty hand smashed burger with aioli and cheese. WOW to both! Great tastes, cooked to perfection. Truly amazing! Cee Cee's was have a drink contest while we were there. Each bar tender created a signature drink. (I believe there were 6 different entries) You picked a drink out of those six that sounded like something you would like, you tried it and then you reviewed it via the drink menu, rating one to five. We liked the idea of including the customer in deciding what could potentially be a new drink on their menu. All in all, we cannot rave enough about Cee Cee's. Great food, fantastic service and a beautiful place to just sit and talk. Kudos to Cee Cees and their staff! This will be "our place" when visiting Vermillion. read more

We usually go to the same spot for dinner when we are in Vermillion, but decided to try something different this time. We had a party of 7 mostly work colleagues in town for an event and made a reservation for after. They were very kind and accomodating when our event ran long and we called to push the time back a bit. The ambience is excellent. Lovely lighting. Sleek and retro at the same time. Cozy yet a bit upscale, especially as compared to other choices in the area. Cocktails: highly recommend the Paloma. I also had the Basil Bliss, which was nice. Everyone at the table really liked their drinks. Food: Two people got the Philly cheesesteak, one got a burger, one got Chicken Bao Down, 2 got the sirloin shishito bowl. I got the sweet chili salmon. The people with cheesesteaks really loved them! The people with the bowls and Chicken Bao Down were impressed as well. My dinner, however, was disappointing. The salmon was overcooked, dry, and tasted fishy. The couscous was okay. The asparagus was heavily seasoned. The appetizers were delicious and I was not going to waste time with overcooked, fishy salmon. I mentioned to the server that she could take it. She grabbed the plate and took it to the kitchen after she asked if I wanted something else. I declined and said I'd just have some more of the appetiser instead since it was already there. She then returned and made an excuse for the dish, saying that is how it is made there. I hope and really don't believe this is the case, because why would anyone purposefully make a dry, fishy salmon? I've had lovely salmon in many places across the country, and never has it tasted badly. For appetizers, which I do recommend, the table got two Goat Grubs and one Blueberry Crostini. They were priced fairly high for something of that nature, which probably was only noticeable because the entrees were more typically priced. They were great! In all, the only downside was my meal, so we will definitely go back and I will try something else! read more

This is a nice place. It's fun and they have lots of food options for gluten free people. They do put quite a bit of flavor in their food and it can be a bit overpowering but I'm used to eating at home and we do heathy foods that are more mild and we don't so heavy sauces or things but the Deaner smash burger is good. They have gluten free buns which is great. The burgers are a bit greasy for my liking and the garlic aioli kind of makes my stomach burn, even if it tastes good. If they could do gluten free French fries that would be so nice! They use a CeeCee's salt on most things that's a bit spicy and I don't have them add it to my orders. Overall it's a fun place and I like the steak tips you have to ask for those they're not always on the menu. read more

Steak was good but sweet potatoes were burnt. Totally black on one side. Atmosphere could be modern and cool, but it looks like grandma stopped and brought all of her plants that didn't fit in her house! They are everywhere! My daughter is allergic to all plants/pollens. I do not know how the food is but service is slow. We have been waiting for over an hour and when we asked they said there was a big party in the basement. I think we are going to leave. We ended up staying but that was a mistake. My food was ok but Rhonda's chicken was so overcooked it was inedible. read more

First of all when we walked in the door we felt like everyone turned and looked at us as if we didnt belong there and the lady that asked us where we wanted to sit asked us to sit by the door and it was a cold and windy day so we asked if we could sit in a different spot and she seemed very snooty about it. There was also a sign at the front desk that said please dont take any of out starting of our plants. Like who goes in a restaurant and steals plants? Then both waitresses were also ruse we were there 2 hours for appetizers only and felt like we were out of place the whole time. Our waitress couldn't remember to bring us water didnt ask if we needed refills they were not busy at all and the other waitress kept walking by us giving us dirty looks as if we did something wrong. We are not from vermillion we are from out of town and thought we would have felt welcomed there and that was so not the case. The only person that was close to nice there was the poor kid that was cleaning off the table he had a smile on his face and was the only one that asked us the whole time if we were doing okay or if we needed anything else. We just asked for our check and did not leave a tip as the service was horrible. read more

First visit here and did not disappoint. Such a different fresh tasting food. All 3 of us were very pleased with everything. Our server Nate was very pleasant and attentive. The ambiance was great and everything was clean and fresh including the restrooms. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive from Yankton. Here's to the chef and staff. Came here for Mother's Day brunch buffet. the service was terrible if you can call it that. smallest buffet table in the corner. line was stretched across the restaurant because they would only being 6 clean plates out at a time. the food was constantly running out. servers behind the bar were very rude when I went up to ask for a refill on my water. they ran out of coffee after only being open for an hour. if they offer it again next year I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Service, ambiance and food are amazing. I started with an espresso martini, it was fantastic. They suggested the bread and oil as an appetizer, I thought it was pretty basic but went with it, the dipping sauce and salt is STUPID GOOD. Get it, you will be thrilled you did. My daughter and I each got the sirloin and Shishito bowl, it was so good. The waitresses checked on us several times and were so sweet. The velvet chairs and posh ambiance was spot on. Service was great and personal. They asked questions and helped through anything we needed. The restaurant is gorgeous and holds a different type of feel than the rest of Vermillion. I am not a fan of many of the items on the menu while a select few are very good. I believe they are new and need to improve on the dinner portion of things, otherwise a good place to sit, have a beer or wine, and enjoy a feel good experience without ordering food. read more

My roommate and I went to CeeCee's this evening for dinner. We were asked by the hostess if we were going to order food or drinks and we said yes. She then told us to sit at a couch and our server would be around soon. We proceeded to sit and wait for 30 minutes with multiple different servers just walking past us like we didn't exist. Every single other table and person around us had gotten served. Even people who came in after we did. This is not the first time it has happened. Very disappointing. read more

Where do I start? The food is great, the service is better, and the drinks are the best! The couple behind the business are sweet, knowledgeable, and will take time to make sure your visit is beyond worth it. The menu is rapidly growing with more and more delicious and creative meals and drinks. They have an extensive menu of amazing mocktails so kids don't feel left out as the adults enjoy delicious handcrafted drinks from the bar. My favorite mock tail from that list is their "Peach Fizz" a sweet peach drink balanced out by the subtle sour after taste. The restaurant itself has a nice feel to it with comfortable chairs and board games to play during the short wait for your food. The staff are sweet and will take time to talk to you and get to know you as they keep the lounge feeling nice and friendly with constant warm smiles. Their signature burger "The Deaner" is a delicious meal to enjoy with its two smash patty's and sautéed onions and garlic topped with truffle aioli and Peruvian sauce between 2 home made buns and served with a side of kettle chips. It is one of the best burgers I have ever had. If your in the area it's the best place to stop and get an amazing meal! read more
