I live across the interstate from this McDonald's and never have a problem with it. I usually go through the drive through to get food and it's usually always quick. Sometimes the people are not that nice but recently it's been better. The outside is always clean and the 2 times I was inside the bathroom was clean and so was the inside. I stopped here to grab a fresh hot coffee from the drive-thru after leaving Lake Charles in the middle of the night heading back home to Florida - although they are open 24 hours the coffee was definitely fresh at 4:00 AM and the service at this hour was outstanding. There was no customer traffic at this time of the morning so I was in and out in no time and back on the road. Used to talk highly about this location but for the past 2 months I have not received a correct order. I come here almost every other day and never leave with a correct order. If you order a burger make sure you leave it as is or say plain, anything besides that it gets too complicated for them so they just give it to you as is. This goes for most items actually and make sure you check your bag because they probably forgot an item or gave you somebody else's like today I asked for a burger and a plain hot n spicy with cheese. I did not get my burger and I got a hot n spicy that had instructions on it for to be light mayonnaise. Long line in the drive thru-we went inside. The line was very short. Staff was very nice. Lightning fast order was complete. I went to the rest room. My Coke spilt & busted in bathroom stall. As busy as this location is, they are fast and mostly polite. Long lines don't mean your food will be a long time, here.

I used to love this location... they used to have a great morning staff and I only had issues with people on the late night shift. They have proven different in recent times. If they clearly mess up your order and don't ring up what they're supposed to, they force you to go around or go in to correct THEIR mistake... not considering your time and that you might have to be somewhere but they messed your order up. They refuse to fix their mistake at the window like all other fast food services do, because they do not want their time at the window to look bad to corporate. Has happened multiple times. we waited 30 minutes for a 6 piece chicken nugget happy meal... we had to call to remind the workers because they forgot we were waiting! and the happy meal was missing apple slices and we were given "boo boo fries" and a disabled looking princess peach toy. it was a horrible traumatic experience! read more

Slowest drive through ever. I call the manager and tell her my husband is in a red mustang and going to order a fish sandwich without cheese and to please tell him to get 2 of them. While I wouldn't normally post a review for a McDonald's, this particular location deserves special notice. The bathrooms aren't quite backwoods-truck-stop dirty, but no sane being would choose to spend any more time in them than necessary. The shift supervisor seemed to know what she was doing, but it would not surprise me to learn that it was the first day of employment for everyone else working there. There is zero evidence that any of them has ever received any training whatsoever. 1st issue: Placing our order... Imagine that you just landed in a foreign land and tried to order a few basic selections but you didn't speak the language. Now imagine scratching your head as to why that's what it feels like to order here from a kid (they were all kids) whose first language is English. Just one example: I ordered 20 McNuggets. Now, McDonald's has been selling this item as part of their everyday value menu for quite some time. But, in this case, the kid asked, "So, do you want two 10-piece meals?" Um, no. 2nd issue: The food... I have, admittedly, eaten way too many McNuggets since they began selling 20 of them for $5.00. They have all been more or less the same. Until today. These were THE greasiest things I've ever seen. Like squishy greasy. The outer texture was weird-looking. They had burn marks on them. I can only guess that someone dumped a whole bag of nuggets in at one time which reduced the oil temperature. Whatever the case, the result was disgusting. There were a number of other examples we could share from this disaster-of-a-franchise, but I think you have enough information to make an informed decision as to whether to stop here or not. read more

Stopped by after a concert ... we had to beep the horn for someone to take our order. Then we were told only breakfast was available and that they were only taking cash. I would give it 0 stars but I had to at least give 1. This is the WORST McDonald's that I have EVER been to. The workers are too busy dealing with their personal issues at the drive thru window than checking your bag to make sure your complete order is there. This location is an absolute joke. I will drive all the way to Denham now if we ever want McD's, which is on very rare occasions anyways. I pulled into the first drive thru lane no one responded. Then backed up and pulled into the second lane where some marine finally answered and ordered a chocolate milkshake and a hot fudge sundae. The lady breathes heavily into the headset microphone, as if it was a problem to make it. Then proceeds to tell us the ice cream machine is broken.
