Every single table was dirty. We stood at the counter waiting to order for about 5 minutes and then we were served by the most unfriendly crew I've ever encountered. Several people behind us in line just left in frustration. We should have joined them because when we got our $20 meal (for two people) the fries were old because they had 3 cooked baskets of fries just sitting over the fryer and the hamburger we ordered with no ketchup was made with ONLY ketchup. SMH One of the worst McDonald's experiences I've ever had. No excuse. Gross food, filthy restaurant and unfriendly staff...bad combo. read more

Manager from tonight cussed so loud in Spanish and English to workers while customers were awkwardly looking at each other. I was so mad because she cussed to idk who saying SHUT THE F*** UP in front of my little friend who is a minor, it took me a lot to hold my tongue. I asked for her name (she's Hispanic btw) and someone told me it's Gracia but then she said who's asking for my name and I said me, then she was like Briana but I know she was lying so I said I know you're lying bruh, and she was like I'll show you my ID and I said okay let me see but then she walked away mad saying no with an ugly mean face and I was like okay yea I know for sure your lying so yea that manager was extremely rude and mean. My 8 cheeseburgers were made without the pickle and onions that's been on them for 40 or 50 years. Got 1 Burger instead of 8. Employee was walking around both inside and outside carrying my credit card with them. Employees said nothing to me as they handed burgers over...too busy talking to someone else outside the store in a foreighn language. Recently this McDonald's has dropped the ball. I've gone two times in the last month, and both times I have been very dissatisfied. Cold food, flavorless drinks, and slow service. I walked in last time and it was blazing hot in the store, also their prices are only going up which is extremely frustrating when I expect things to be $1 on the $1 menu. They upcharged me 60 cents to add pickles to my sandwich which is crazy. I will be bringing my own pickles next time... I tried to pour myself a sprite, orange fanta, coke, dr pepper, and they all tasted like carbonated water. I went for the sweet tea after realizing the sodas were scuffed, and that ended up being close to unsweetened too. Needless to say, I wont be coming back to this location unless they get their crap together. read more

We hit the drive-thru after our trip to Wal-Mart on Saturday to grab a quick bite. They have this crazy 2-lane drive-thru that joins into a single line for the windows. I have no idea how they manage to keep that straight but they did. Our order was right, the fries were nice and fresh and my wife' s McCafe drink thing was good. I haven't been in side but apparently the family went there early Saturday morning to grab some breakfast and so the two little kids could play in the giant "PlayPlace" which they had an absolute blast in. According to their website they have WiFi, which is always welcome, but I've never actually used WiFi at a McD's. From what I gather you get a code on your receipt or something. Anyway, this new location is a bit more convenient appears to be on the ball. The one thing I do not like, they charge for extra sauces. In the drive-thru window they have a breakdown of how many sauces you get for the chicken nuggets and chicken strips and of course it's not enough. One container of sauce for 6 chicken nuggets? Get out of here...and it's 30 cents for an extra one. I've always hated McDonald's that do that, stop being so cheap! I love dunking my fries, burgers and filet o' fishes in the sweet and sour. Don't nickel and dime me because I want to enjoy my food! Because of the sauce fee they get docked a star. read more

We stopped in this location after a long trip from the Raleigh Airport. My children are financially responsible and buy extra 'wants' with their own money. Anyways, my 10 year old goes to the counter and orders his food. The lady states, "Your total is $5.01." He did not have the penny. He looks down, sees a penny on the floor, and picks it up. She says" You can't do that, that is stealing." Naturally, my maternal instincts kick in and begins to defend this child who was simply trying to order food.. With money he earned. So, I asked her, if I can bring the penny in a minute so we are not holding up the line. Of course, she says, "no, I'll wait." I went to the car, shake some floor mats, and found a dime. Now she has a line of 6+ people that she held up for a penny. She takes my dime and then gave me no change back! You hold up a line over 1 cent. Which he had but you refused to let him spend and then hold my 9 cents hostage?? Then, to top it off, she got his order wrong. The manager comes up, she apologies, and then refuses to correct it. She defends the cashier for her actions. To be clear, my rant is over the fact the cashier accused my son for stealing a penny from the floor. Then she kept my other $.09 after holding up 6 more people. The other 6 people were with my 10 year old and offered the penny. She refused their penny too. All over a penny. Shhhs. In conclusion, I would avoid this stop if possible. read more

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very very unprofessional workers at least some of them. Went in to order and while there a fight broke out between 2 workers. They had no respect for the customers using profanity and disregarding the customers who had placed outside orders. Bad experience!!! I think management needs to better interview their workers. Thank you to Sam that took my order at the window. He was very professional and prompt. When I arrived at his window, I found him to have perfect manners and a kind smile (that is rare these days). Jahan at the pickup window was focused and I watched him check my items with the receipt to ensure each item was accounted for. I've asked twice to pass along my complement regarding my 2 previous interactions with the young man taking orders (Sam) and I asked him at our 3rd meeting if he ever had received a "pat on the back" for a job well-done and he said he had not.. Please take the time to do this for each of these young men. It is a boost to hear that someone appreciates you and I believe in giving compliments when they are due. If I encounter these two again, I'll ask once again if they've been recognized in any way.. read more

Hardly ever have a problem with the day shift either inside or drive thru but at night its terrible. I would rather fight Congress to approve a constitutional amendment approving gay marriage then go to McDonalds. The drive thru took 5 mins to even say anything. Then pulled up to the first window, as instructed, and sat there for ten mins and no one came so we pulled up, cashier was really nice and had our drinks ready, which weren't full, then informed us that they were waiting on our fries and asked us to pull up. So we waited, and waited, they pulled up the truck behind us and about 5 mins later they bought out the food for the people behind us first. Then 5 mins later they bought ours out. The fries were fresh, and over salted, and the chicken nuggets were cold. And the cheese on the burgers wasn't melted. All in all a very bad experience. Gonna stop going at night. read more

Today we took my mother to our local Mcdonalds as we normally do on Sunday. My mother was very much in the mood for pancakes. So, we got our pancakes,coffee and unsweet tea. We went to the condiment bar and I realized that we had no butter for the pancakes. There was also no unsweet tea. There was also no forks or stir sticks for the coffee. I went back to the counter to ask for butter and was told that they had none. They also had no forks. When i said that we needed butter for the pancakes the woman just stood ther and stared at me. So, we gave up drank our coffee and diet soda pop (since there was no tea) and left. If you are not going to provide butter or forks you should tell people when they order. Also, if you do not have unsweet tea do not sell it. read more

This McDonald's is absolutely horrible. I ordered a double-fish meal. The fries and Coke were fine. The fish was overcooked, hard and horrible. I called back to speak with the manager who had to think of his own name, George. He said I had to bring the sandwich back today. I was 20 miles away (almost home) and told him I would be back in Wallace tomorrow. He said there was nothing he could do about that. This wasn't my receipt, I didn't receive one. Upon asking for it I received no response or receipt, so I picked this one off the of the floor among other trash. When ordering, the cashier Tony was so confused I had to explain my order three times (I was ordering the two sausage burrito meal) my order was not at all complicated. After ordering, he left the counter even though my friend was behind me in line wanting to order. She had to call him over to the cash register to order her food, which also not a complicated order (bacon cheeseburger with extra pickles, medium fry, medium drink) she also did not receive a receipt. When she got her food, she had extra pickles, no bacon. She went to get that corrected only to receive and attitude and a very "lame" excuse as to the mess up. Also, when filling our drinks, we noticed there were no kids for the cups! Nor did the ketchup squirted have ketchup! Nor were there cookies in the display case! Nothing was stocked. No napkins either! Then to top all of that off, we sit down to eat, the lights shut off! I understand if they work on a timer, but they could have rectified with a switch I'm sure. Or, prevention... Instead of giving us the dine in option, they could have told us it would be take out only. We brought every issue up with staff and manager just to get ignored. read more
