My food was fresh and everything came out right away. I ordered a 20 piece, fries, a coffee and Diet Coke. The coffee didn't have any sugar.

NO- NO BEUNO. Unfortunately that's Spanish for: not good. I arrive to the McDonalds center of Poughkeepsie New York, seemed more like a trash can center in New York City! The worst part is, my old friend Lucian came with me (sorry lucian.) Ill start off by alarming you guys that I ordered a fish- FISH. Did I get a fish? DIDNT SEEM LIKE IT!! It was. bird- no- a plane- NO- a raw piece of meat, on a cheeseburger. I think I spoke English when I said fish, not like I said cheeseburger. Not to mention, on a side note, awfully, yet on topic, Lucian got an ice cream- and it fell. I RACED to pick it up, and a McDonalds employee just stared at e as I hit the floor. By the looks of his tag, his name was Angelo, Angelo Bat. I looked up at Angelo in terror, wondering why nothing was being done. It was a complete disaster. I asked him questions like "Why didn't you help me up?" "Will you make him a new one?" He shook his head, saying it looked like Lucian dropped it on purpose after saying "EW! this tastes bad!" We pleaded our truth, told him what's right, and to make a new soft serve ice cream cone (sorry Lucian, Burger King would do it.). I couldn't help but hold a frown, tears, even, after being so embarrassed infant of my old buddy from work. It felt like I couldn't even talk, let alone get a new fish. I was so flustered, Im still reminiscing while writing. After we began to pack our luggages after a tough day at the 'Donalds, we were exiting the premises when we stopped in our tracks. There was a dog on a leash, coming towards us. Poor Lucian, he hide under the table. I can't even believe my eyes, I blinked about 17 times fast and quick, and rubbed my teary eyes until they were red and puffy, then realized the dog was at my feet. What is this? The McDonalds dog? Last time I checked, this isn't Target, is it. (Love ya for this Target.). I backed away, and as soon as I did I backed right into a stranger! Even worse, a McDonalds employee. I chuckled in disgrace. Did my besties ex boyfriend, Will become the manager of this place, or something? Why do note of you understand boundaries and discomfort? This waste of a building you call "McDonald's" is rather unsettling and shouldn't even serve food to the homeless. How is this allowed, bro? I shouldn't even be writing this review dawg, this stuff is getting to surreal. I will be contacting the hit show "Kitchen Nightmares" about this place, if u guys dont clean up your act. I was laughing earlier at this, but honestly, I dont think this is a joke anymore. Gordon Ramsay will be very displeased at the lack of comfort you give your guests. Let's just start off by saying how unkrganized the people are working here. Everytime I go to this McDonald's my order is wrong. And im saying really wrong. Example today I ordered #7 and 2 mcchickens. I get 4 mcchickens w no burgers and the chickens have ketchup and mayo on them and I ordered my chickens plain. Another time I ordered a #7 and I get two burgers w no meat. This is too often an occurrence and management needs to do something about this. Unacceptable. read more

Worst McDonalds in the entire planet. Just horrible staff, worst service and poor customer handling across the board. Went here last week and I think I am done with this store forever. Got stuck behind a weed smoking pick up truck who decided to change his order at the paying station. The ladies at the registers were surprised that we weren't thrilled about 15 mins wait. It sounded like something was wrong with me getting upset over the wait. I think that made us more uncomfortable how phased out the people in the store were and how disrespectful they were to me. Well, there is going to be a review on every platform about what I had to deal with and if I could only give this store zero or negative stars. You really need to train the staff how to deal with situations like these instead of mocking them. Like seriously .... If I could give no stars I would give no stars. Employees are super rude and have a lot of attitude. Don't work in fast food if ur not fast, respectful and competent. An employee took her stuff out on me when I was being calm waiting for the machine and her and the other boy at the window were saying very rude things about me and my presence. Right after I go to eat my food and my order is messed up anyway as usual. I will never come to this location again, a shame because it's very close to my job. Hire nicer and new employees. This location has a high turnover of employees. I'm unsure why perhaps McDonald's corporate can look into this but depending on which batch of new hires they get dictates the service you will get. I've gone here with no issue, and then sometimes there will be 3 visits in a row where asking for something is like pulling teeth and you get the wrong order every time. read more

Not following McDonalds mask policy. I was planning to get something at the drive through tonight when I saw that inside the restaurant there were four teenage guys at the counter, chatting up the clerk not wearing masks. I called the manager to ask why they weren't following their own policy. He told me they were busy; I said they were about to have one less customer. Shockingly lax about the health and safety of their workers and customers. I don't want my family members getting sick because the manager here is lazy. read more

Small and laid back, this particular McDonalds is pretty easy going. With staff that is not kept particularly busy, they are eager to engage in conversation, and great with fitting your needs with whatever they can supply you. This particular branch often runs out on certain products such as some of the smoothies, and apple pocket pies. I'm guessing since they deal with lower volumes of customers, they stock less here. I have noticed that they share the same phone number as a McDonalds phone number as one with the address of 1255 State Rte 376, Wappingers Falls, however I did confirm on the McDonald's webpage that the address here matches the phone number. read more

Employees are miserable! The employee who took care of us was very sloppy in her appearance and her food presentation was at the same level as her attitude, poor. This should not be the case in a food establishment. Long wait time and rude staff. Skip this McDonalds and go to Rte 9! read more

Although I do enjoy treating myself to McDonalds on occasion, this is a location I would try to avoid. Upon a recent visit, I went through the drive thru. The first thing I was told was that did not take credit cards at the drive thru, only inside. After placing my order and proceeding to the first window, the attendant apologized and asked if he could change my drink order. The change was minimal so I agreed. I then went to the next window where the attendant advised me that he machine was broken. She attempted to substitute a lower cost item for the same price. When the attendant went to get a manager, the manager also asked if I was willing to make the substitute. When I agreed the manager left and came back to tell me that I owed more for the item, despite the fact that the menu price was lower. I filed a complaint with them and never heard back. Very poor service at all levels. This is not the first poor visit I have had there. read more

It's slightly busy at around 8 pm. I order one quarter pounder an cookies with 4 mchicken an 1 cheese burger an 2 fries. I pull up to the window pay an I look at my receipt. Everything correct except instead of 4 mchickens it says 3. When I pull up to the window i tell the kid about the mistake an he counts everything in the bag an says an I quote, "they're 3 mchickens in here," he then goes back an tells the manager an appearently they're too "backed up" to make another mchicken an charge me for an extra. Watever, it's fine no big deal. I go home an take a look at everything in the bag.a quarter pounder, cookies,2 fries, cheese burger, 2 mchickens.... seriously??? After not listening to me the first time an literally checking in the bag an confirming that yes they're 3 mchickens I come home to 2. I have never cried about food before in my life but I am 36 weeks pregnant an watching my bf eat 2 sandwiches an frys an me only eating one sandwhich an one thing of spilt bag frys really just made me sob. This morning I ordered 2 sausage, egg, and cheese mcgriddles and a small french vanilla cappuccino. There was hair in only of the mcgriddles and the small cup size was a joke and it tasted awful and bitter and had no flavor at all. read more
