Last night (7/13/25) I waited in the drive thru for six minutes at the speaker for my order to be taken. Then the car ahead of me waited for 11 minutes at the pickup window. My order was handed to me quickly but it clearly had been sitting there awhile and it was cold. I told the woman at the window and she shouted at me, "Pull up!" Wow. Okay. So I pulled up and waited another 8 minutes.,I had ordered a fish filet. This one wasn't quite as cold but it had barely any tartar sauce on it. Usually the sauce is excessive. Ordered thru drive thru and the person who handed me my food had such an attitude when I asked for a straw-you would think he was paying for my food. I waited to post this negative review until I gave McDonald's a chance to respond to my incident report, but that did not happen. I usually come to this McDonald's with my daughter due to the indoor playground. On my previous trip I got my usual half cut sweet tea. Unfortunately for me I sucked a bug up through my straw. Initially I thought it was a piece of ice and spit it out when it didn't dissolve in my mouth. To my horror it was a ugly black bug. I went up to the counter and told an employee. She said "what do you want me to do about it" so I asked to see a manager. The manager told me there was absolutely no way a bug could of got into my tea because they keep careful watch on it. (Yet everytime I visit this location, the lid is never on right or not on at all.) I was not even offered a refund or an apology. She took an incident report with my phone number and email. I have yet to hear anything back and it's been months, so I'm assuming I never will. (I've also submitted a complaint on their website and heard nothing back) read more

Again a horrible customer service situation. I only went out of desperation and hungry kids. I forgot to add a cheeseburger and every last staff member was rude and can't add on can't edit the order yes you can....tell me I have to get in line again no way not for an item I brought to your attention immediately before I paid. Then they all started staring and making smart remarks and if that was the manager saying we don't do add ons not even coming to speak to me but all those rude kids coming to the window to look at me or make a smart remark sure did- I did get the cheeseburger but not without being made to feel like I was asking the impossible. This one is the worst and please remind me for the rest of my life to not ever ever return there. read more

I visit McDonald's mainly for their coffee, milkshakes and hotcakes for my son. He loves their hotcakes and it's a quick cheap lunch for him when I'm running around. The employees at this location could be a little nicer. When I asked for a straw with my drink they rudely said it was in the bag but it was not. Not that serious just give me a straw. Hard to drink a milkshake without one. My son is a fan of their new blueberry slushee now too. We don't typically dine in here because it has not been the cleanest. I placed my order for a quarter pound deluxe meal and it sound like the girl taking the order said the price of my meal. When I went to the first window to pay I was asked in I placed my order. I said yes. The girl informed the young man she told me I couldn't order lunch till 11am. It was now 10:59. He was going to place my order for my some else told me I had to drive around again Everyone was rude except the young man at the first window I will never go back to that McDonald's except to speak to a manager. Yet again. I said I would never go here again. But I did, in a desperate attempt to satisfy my hunger on my way home tonight. I ordered a Big Mac and tenders. They placed me in a reserve spot for 20 minutes while I watched 9 other customers get their food. When I walked in to get my refund they said my meal has been ready and they would refund me and give it to me anyway. After waiting another 7 minutes to process my refund, they gave me what I ordered. Which was incorrect anyway. So I gave it back and thanked them for wasting over 20 minutes of my time. If you have an extra half hour to burn in your day, and would like an incorrect order at a falsely advertised "fast" food establishment. This place is for you. read more

It's a mcdonalds. The burgers are greasy the drinks are cold and the fries are stale. With that said my son loves this place. He called it Donald's. There is a nice play area that if he was allowed he would prob spend the whole day climbing around. As a parent I can only hope that they send someone in with a can of Lysol. A while back they completely messed up a drive threw order and we ended up with a free breakfast the next morning. The only thing I feel I can even partially recommend is the parfait. I was at theblebanon church MCDs on Wednesday 7/25. I ordered four hot mochas. I had a coupon in the app and receipts showing I had purchased five (buy five get one free.) Because my app does not register the purchases I was told by a DISTRICT MANAGER to save my receipts as proof of purchase. The cashier had no idea what I was talking about. She called her manager. The manager was horrible. Yelling at me, refusing to accept the receipts, then standing there yelling "I'll pray for you." All this for a 4.00 mocha ? Let me tell ya, I reviewed the reviews on this, but still gave it a chance because they were not busy at all when I went. I got to the window and the man kept messing up everything I told him that I wanted. He also didn't even let me finish my order before telling me my total, in which I had to tell him my order a SECOND time since he put it in without asking me if it was everything. When getting to the window, everything in our bag was completely wrong so we stayed and waited. The man looked so confused and reviewed our ticket 4 times to himself, and told us that "we didn't order any cheeseburgers." In which we ordered three, and he even repeated to us. We re ordered our cheeseburgers and the man told us to pull up. Which we waited 25 minutes for three cheeseburgers. When there was no line. He also forgot all of our sauces, and straws for all of our drinks. So when he came out with our two cheeseburgers after 25 minutes, we asked for our sauces and straws, which he returned with one singular straw and no sauces. Thanks so much drug addict McDonalds! Mcdonalds continues to slip in the customer service category. It's a beautiful summer day and there is no ice cream available or milkshakes. To find out there was no ice cream, I waited in line for 15 minutes while an employee was ordering a meal. She even ran around the corner of the counter to tell the grill people how to make her order special for her tastes. The counter person had to wait for her to come back to finish the order and serve the customers who actually pay. The best part was that, while eating my meal, another employee sat two tables away from me brushing her hair. Every McDonalds in the south hills is owned by the same owner operator who seems to have zero standards. Another employee walked around the dinning room with a drink and was coughing with out covering her mouth. This was my first trip to a McDonalds in a few months. TERRIBLE my wife worked a double shift and stopped here to grab something quick and she waited in her drive thru lane for 10 minutes. They promptly said as soon as she pulled up "one moment please" and one moment turned into ten minutes. After this time had passed somebody pulled up into the other lane and they took their order! Soooo. . . Some things are different at the Cincinnati McDonald's and the Pittsburgh McDonald's. . . one. . . when I order water at the ones in Cincinnati, they give us large ones. We do order other things like apple pies, fries or other drinks. . . this particular McDonald's gave me a small water. The other, when we order happy meals in Cincinnati, we are able to order double fries, here. . . unable to do so. Maybe it was this particular McDonald's, and if they had people taking advantage of this, then I understand. . . you have to run your business the way you need to run your business. The one cool thing that happened was we ordered two small slushies, and the cashier saved us some money by adding the one small slushie to the happy meal with a small upcharge, then rang the Apple juice separately. . . so that saved some money. All in all. . . McDonald's is McDonald's. . . which is like Wal-Mart, you're not going there for the best food or necessarily the best service. . you go for convenience and reasonably priced fast food. . . and when you do get that supreme service that you don't typically get. . . that is a pleasant surprise. read more

First drive through lane not working. Drove up to window after 15 mins. Worker asks what did you order. I said I didn't and that I had been in lane with speaker that doesn't work. She says, oh yeah it's been staticky all day. She proceeds to get the next persons order on the headset. Then stops to page manager for an override. I say never mind put a sign out. I also called the store to inform them to put a sign up for their own benefit. Person that answered stated that both lanes were working as if she did not believe what I was saying was true.
