Most flies that have ever existed in a restaurant. Been twice en route to mountains and experience was same both times. Gross.

They don't accept other McDonald's coupons and the prices don't equal the size or quality of their foods.

By far the worst McDonalds I've had by far. First things first, the little Mexican lady at the counter was RUDE! The chicken was dry. I got the chicken Big Mac. Also had to wait over 10 minutes to get my drink. Sat there at the register waiting while all of the workers just stared at me and proceeded to blow me off. Do not recommend stopping for this location. Just keep on truckin. read more

I ordered 3 coffees and some food. The food came out pretty quick, I was able to eat my whole meal, still have time to put together my happy meal toy and yet the 3 coffee drinks never came out. I had to walk up to the counter with my receipt to show I ordered 3 coffees. When the coffees finally came out they were wrong. (also a couple weeks before this incident I found hair in my fries and burger, I only went back because I assumed they were just having a bad day and wanted to give them a second chance.) Luckily there was no hair this time but still disappointed. I would also like to note that most of the staff went to break at the same time which caused there to be short staff. Where to start, where to start... well one thing I will say is do NOT leave the drive-thru until after you have checked your order and if you have any fries, TASTE them! This place is absolutely notorious for cold, old fries. They have no qualms putting fries that have been sitting for a long time into your order, instead of making new ones. Perhaps because that would take time, and mean increasing the usually LONG line backed up through the drive-thru. (The only other drive-thru in North Carolina that is slower is the local CVS). The remodel is an example of how not to spend your money remodeling anything. It was a little dated before, but it was warm and inviting. The new look is totally sterile and looks plain/dumpy in front. Zero "wow" factor. The 2nd drive-thru lane was never put in, not that it would make a difference because the staff is normally not concerned with speed and getting your order to you quickly. As someone else mentioned, this is definitely not a "corporate" store and they definitely do things their own way. Time for another franchisee to open up another one in the area. Maybe when they destroy the main road with 4 traffic circles all right next to each other... nobody will go here anymore and a new owner will build somewhere. One can only hope... read more

I love McDonald's I always have but in this area ours is private owned and the managingg pArt of thiS business is very different! The prices are higher and not all that you wwould expect to be on the menu is! I went in one say and tried to order a special they had displayed just to be told they aren't running the special anymore! I told them that they shouldn't falsely advertise if they arent going to honor their own special. But as I said this is a small town And things are very different I am hoping the management can make some changes and evolve as a business that's constantly growing!!! They do have good food !!!! It's crazy how they don't get your orders right I had to go back at least 4 times for 1 burger I an also don't understand why u go to the restroom its dirty and is very much unclean I have loved this place for so many years and lately it's gone down hill and there is no heat in the back a couple days ago a woman was cold and asked for them to turn the heat on they ignored her and was on their phone I am very disappointed in the outcome of this I will never go here again read more

Why can't the management team turn on the heat in the section by the restrooms?! I saw an elderly lady ask them to turn on the heat and the manager or duty said she didn't know how! This is one of the better McDonald's out there. It's updated, has friendly staff, and the food is good for McDonald's. I usually can tell a good one from a bad one with the Mochas (trust me, some taste bad!)... and this place makes the good Mochas most of the time (but not everytime).
