Wy wife and I stopped in for our weekly lunch date in early July. The parking lot was pretty busy when we arrived but we had no problem finding somewhere to park. We sat down and someone came by and took our drink orders. The menus were already at the table so we began to look it over. We immediately noticed that the prices were VERY reasonable! I chose the Philly combo hoagie sandwich with a side of tater tots and my wife ordered the club sandwich with a side of tater tots. The interior and exterior of the building is very charming and appears to be well kept and clean. We did notice there was a back wall of cooler doors that appeared to be full of different drink options, we aren't sure if those are intended to be to-go or if they can be served with your meal. We both ordered ice water so we aren't sure. Our food arrived lightning quick and looked great. We both agreed the tater tots were cooked perfectly, nice and crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle! We both enjoyed our sandwiches as well and felt taken care of by our waitress. She dropped off the check and we paid at the counter. We would highly recommend to others and will be back!

Great breakfast food: eggs cooked perfectly to order over medium. Sausage was good and hash browns were crunchy. Biscuits tasted homemade and the pancakes were fluffy and big. Service was good very friendly staff and the food came out quickly. This gets 4 stars because the coffee was zero stars. Totally not worth the $1.95 it tasted like warm water. Should have asked them to take it off the bill. Otherwise the ambiance is like a old timey southern diner and overall was enjoyable.

Country-style restaurant and gas station in the rural part of Yadkinville. Not sure if the gas pumps work, but they got the wall of refrigerators for the drinks, just like a gas station convenience store. They serve southern food like barbeque and fried stuff along with burgers and sandwiches. I got the fried chicken liver (good) with hushpuppies (decent), fried squash (delicious), and beets (tasted like beets). Prices are inexpensive, as the whole platter was like $5-6 plus tax and tips. Pretty decent food given the price.

Beef tips, mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole!

It was very cold where we were sitting and the server allowed us to move to a warmer spot. We ordered a fried mushroom appetizer. This was very good. They came with ranch and I think it was the horseradish sauce. The orangish sauce was very good. I ordered 1/2 rack of dry ribs with mac & cheese and green beans, and 2 hushpuppies. You get a choice of Texas toast, hushpuppies, or rolls. My coworker ordered salmon. When the food came out, my ribs were wet. I told the server that I had ordered dry rub. He stated they were dry but had sauce on them. I'm sorry, that is not a "dry rib", in my opinion. The first piece of rib meat I ate was soft and juicy. The next two were super dry and I could not eat any more of them. My coworker joked that that was probably what they were referring to when they said "dry rub". The green beans were ok. I added a ton of pepper and some hot sauce. I saved the mac & cheese for lunch the next day. The hushpuppies were dense and needed a little more flavor. My coworker commented that her salmon was ok but nothing to write home about. I should have went with my first instinct and ordered from the kids menu. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice.

Although it's tucked away in an unassuming business district, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting space and exceptional service. Everyone made us feel welcome, and the attention to detail throughout our meal was outstanding. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. It was served over a bed of crisp sliced cucumbers and the most amazing vinegar coleslaw. The combination of flavors was fresh, light, and memorable. Even the warm dinner rolls were outstanding and set the tone for the meal. For our entrées, the meatloaf was everything comfort food should be. It was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served over creamy mashed potatoes with fresh French green beans. We also ordered the Chef's seasonal Squash Casserole, and it was phenomenal. If it's on the menu when you visit, don't miss it. Milner's way exceeded our expectations: wonderful food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable evening. We will absolutely make the trip back the next time we're in Winston-Salem.

The customer service was great. The staff checked on us throughout our meal and made sure we had everything we needed, which I always appreciate. I ordered the Salmon BLT (hold the bacon) on sourdough with a side of sweet potato fries, and oh my goodness it was so good! The portion size was very generous and definitely filling. The herbed mayo tied everything together perfectly it was *chef's kiss*! They also serve the sweet potato fries with a cinnamon butter for dipping, which was good. I also had a Caesar salad. It was exactly what you'd want from a Caesar salad fresh, flavorful, and another generous portion. If you're a fan of salmon and/or sandwiches, I definitely recommend giving this a try. Who knew a salmon sandwich could be this good? I'll definitely be back! There is parking off to the side though, it is very limited. Be prepared to parallel park !

On the host's recommendation we chose to go inside and sit at the bar. I had not been inside before as I usually opt for the outside seating so I was surprised to see that the interior was more roomy than I had imagined. Once we were seated, near the soothing water feature with a Koi pond, our waitress promptly took our drink orders and apologized for any inconvenience if we were waiting for table and service. Once we got our drinks they served us several orders of warm bread with several different butter choices. At that point, we ordered our main menu items. Service was prompt and went smoothly. We didn't have to wait very long for our food to arrive. The food was very good and there were no complaints from our group. I ordered Ahi Tuna salad. It was a large portion w the Tuna perched on top making an appetizing display. It was reasonably priced at $18, in my opinion, as it was a large salad and I wasn't able to eat the whole thing. Our group had a very pleasant, unrushed time at this restaurant and the host was always nearby and happy to answer questions and chat with us. This restaurant is one of the jewels of downtown 4th street. Stop in for a drink or a nice meal, you'll be glad you did.
