Theresa "Annie" Palmer made my home sale painless and successful. She found a buyer within 48 hours of going to market and sold my home above my asking price! She even efficiently helped me with navigating some necessary repairs and on the ground management of the sale because I was out of state. When deciding how to price my home, she listened to my desired price and then delivered very well researched comps and formulas explaining reasoning. We were in agreement, but I would have adjusted my thinking based on her sound, logical approach to pricing. She took the time to listen and really understand the value of my property. Because she prepared so well in advance of going to market, she was able to effectively market and get us multiple offers above our asking price within 48 hours of listing. We also closed on time! Every step of the way from navigating offers, counter offers, inspections, and closing, Annie was on top of communications, and details. She would be sure to inform me in a very timely way of any news and give me all of the details so that I was able to make quick and effective decisions with her. She is detail-oriented and all contracts clearly reflected what they needed to. She got all paperwork delivered on time, made sure all was in order. If you've ever sold a house before in New Orleans you will know how valuable this "cat herding," skill is! Had you asked me a month ago and this rating would have been 5 stars. We were the first tenants to move into a apartment complex being renovated and loved everything about living there-the leasing agent, office staff at McEnery, the building owner and Steve the handyman were all so awesome. Then it came time to renew our lease and we decided not to due to a job transfer out of state. We gave 30 days notice to the property manager who has only been there for about 4 months, and let them know we would make sure it was move out cleaned. There were 2 spots on the walls where a command strip had come off and some paint was lifted as well so we asked the owner for the paint so we could spackle and repair with the matching paint before we moved out. Upon move out the property manager, Rosy came by and walked through with my husband and said everything looked fabulous and we turned in the keys. A few days later when checking on the timeline to receive our deposit, the property manager informed us that we were gonna be charged $450 in damages because the walls had to be repaired before they would rent it!! This is an apartment that has been meticulously cared for, had a housekeeper clean every month and the owner was in our apartment multiple times over the year we lived there. Not only was I shocked but also furious that none of this was disclosed at the final walk-through. Based on how we have been treated upon move out, I would not recommend renting from this particular complex to anyone. The property manager is not someone you want to deal with ever!! read more

Horrible experience. With the agent's recommendation we listed the house at a number that we felt was higher than it's worth... After months without an offer we recommended lowering the price and this continued for over 6 months. We finally sold the house for less that 70,000 of what they originally told us to list it for. The agent was never at any of the showings. We had no open houses. I would never list a house with the agency again. The agent who listed our house was rude and we were honestly just glad to sell the house and not have to deal with them anymore. read more
