Since they came in, the entire atmosphere and level of service have changed for the better. Anything I've ever needed--whether it was a repair, clarification, or help with a concern--has been taken care of quickly and without me having to chase anyone down. Before they arrived, I often felt like I had to constantly remind the office about maintenance requests or follow up multiple times. Now, I simply put in a request and it gets handled. It's refreshing to deal with managers who are attentive, professional, and genuinely care about the residents. They communicate clearly, follow through on what they say, and make sure things are done the right way. They have truly gone above and beyond for me, and I feel the difference every day. From the way they greet residents to the way they handle issues big or small, they bring a level of respect, efficiency, and kindness that is rare to find. Because of them, I feel valued and heard as a resident. Overall, I can honestly say the management team has transformed the experience of living here, and I'm extremely grateful for everything they do.

Lived here for 3 years had a new car that was hit & run twice (purposely parked in front of a security camera only to find out it did not work). People trying to open your door in the middle of the night or trying to lure you to the door to open multiple times. 2nd month of living here I witness physical fights outside. Moldy ceiling which was not properly repaired (leaked again after a month with even more mold). The gunshot through my ceiling was the final straw. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS.

My apt. was a one bedroom but VERY spacious, and included both a utility closet with a washer and dryer as well as a really large walk-in closet. The bedroom was the perfect size for a queen size bedroom set (a king would also fit!), and the bathroom was also more than big enough and also had a closet. I have no words to express how amazing the place is. If you are looking for an apartment in which to stay either temporarily or permanently, DO NOT make the mistake of just going with the "big name" apartment companies without stopping here.

I was apartment hunting and scoured the internet and every apartment hunting site and app to try to find the perfect apartment. I couldn't find a place that felt like a good fit. Then one day while searching on Craigslist, I saw a listing for an apartment that was very affordable and seemed to be almost too good to be true - it was the stuff scams are made of... BUT when I actually went to view the property it was better than expected. Although I ended up moving into a different unit than the one I saw the ad for, I was very pleased with my experience. I always felt safe. The staff was very attentive (at the time it was Danielle and Ebony if I'm remembering correctly, but later was Danielle and Keina). Any maintenance issues I had were handled quickly and efficiently. I loved all of the resident appreciation events even though I couldn't make most of them. Also it was very quiet. I saw many neighbors come and go, but they all were good people despite their walk of life. I honestly could have stayed at the Arts forever, but working in the film industry, the dual strikes made my place a bit harder to afford. Also due to work I'd spent the previous year away from home anyway so a move was inevitable, but overall, I HIGHLY recommend. I've had a few apartments before, but The Arts was by far my best renting experience to date. If I ever move back to Louisiana, they will be my first stop!

lived here for a year. overall a good experience. i moved to nola during covid and needed a safe…read moreand secure place to live. tbh, if it wasnt for covid i would have tried to live down near the city, but nothing has been going on there for over a year now, so seemed kinda pointless. make no mistake, bella ridge is def not nola living. you are pretty much in a middle of a industrial area living here. for some, getting away from the city is a good thing, but just keep in mind the location. the rent when i moved in was fairly low, about $1200 for a nice one bedroom. it has risen in the last year about $200-300 a month. so you are starting to get up there in price. the units are pretty nice, decent size with updated appliances. the staff is excellent. i had zero complaints, esp with the maintenance team. they respond almost instantly to maintenance requests. the community is okay. def a mix of diff types of people. try to get a 3rd floor unit because alot of noisy and loud people and you can hear everything through the walls. one thing i noticed is a decent amount of sports cars reving engines and speeding throughout the complex. also, an insane amount of pot smoking. sometimes the entire complex smells like a pot dispensary. ample garage/parking space..never really a problem to find parking. security is decent, but there have been several issues while ive stayed here. management called in a security guard for a week or so after one of the incidents and installed cameras on the gates. but overall i would say its a safe place to live. the main issue, and this out of managements hands, is the massive construction project literally right outside the gates. non-stop loud construction, and i believe it will last for years. i got lucky to get a place on the other side of the complex but if you do a visit here make sure you do it during a week day to hear and see the construction (they work on weekends too sometimes). this has basically rendered the gates a mess to get in and out of and also insanely loud at the pools and the one outdoor common area. also a giant poop plant is right outside the property so you will smell warm turds parts of the day when the wind blows right. there is also a beach volleyball place right in back of the complex which gets very packed at evenings and they blow whistles until after 10pm. can get annoying. also a confusing aspect of the property is that even though it appears as one apartment place, it is split into two different complexes (bella ridge north and south). im sure there is a reason for this but its kind of weird and awkward. for example, i actually live closer to the south pool but i cant access it. i can only access the north pool. you can also only control the entry gate for your complex. so many times someone came to the wrong gate and couldnt get in so had to call me and i had to get them to drive to the other gate. this should def be corrected as it is not an amenity, but simply an access point. supposedly the south units are nicer, but i def wouldnt pay more to live there esp since it is bordering the construction zone now. overall i would recommend living here if you wanted an escape from the city and are willing to deal with some of the annoyances. every apartment place in the world has annoying tenants and minor issues. i didnt ever encounter anything so negative i wouldnt recommend bella ridge. its unfortunate about the construction, but you would just have to see if it all balances out for you in the end. i am moving out of state, but if i had stayed, i would have probably tried a spot down near the city now that things are picking up a bit.

Dumpsters are constantly overloaded with garbage spilling out of them. Trash is all over the stairwells. Neighbors are grilling in the parking lot. It took two weeks for my maintenance requests to be completed as they stated they were not staffed. The complex is filthy. They stated that I changed my locks that were in fact never changed. Upon me calling the office Emily was very dismissive and rude.

The Bella Ridge North apartments used to be great but not any more. I have lived there for over 10…read moreyears and the people in the office have become intolerable. I got a notice saying that my automatic rent payment was cancelled with no reason given. I called the office from 830 to 10 and nobody answered the phone. This has become common every time I have to contact them. Usually I have to go there in person to talk to someone. This time I could not do that and so I kept calling and leaving messages. Finally a woman picked up and basically told me that they had sent out email and sms about system changes that would require me to change the automatic payment. The mail never came and I asked her to resend it to me and she told me she would not talk to me because she had some other people there and had already sent the notice. She then rudely hung up on me! That is how they treat a resident who has lived there for over 10 years and has always paid rent on time. This is not the first time this has happened. Last year, they changed the system and again the automatic payment did not go through. Nobody bothered to call me or contact me in any way. I arrived home and found they had started eviction procedures. They fixed it but It was really a terrible experience. There is no way to contact them when you have a problem unless you go to the office in person. They don't answer voice messages nor do they reply to SMS or email. The service has gone from excellent to abysmal. I do not expect to be treated so rudely when I do finally talk to someone as just happened. The other issue is the maintenance. It used to be great. But lately they take longer and longer to send a technician. My latest experience was a few months ago when one day, black rusty water started coming out of the faucets. The water was so dirty I couldn't drink, wash or bathe with it. It took almost a week for them to send a maintenance man to fix it. They have one guy covering the complex and several others so when there is a problem they take forever to fix it. I do not recommend Bella Ridge North Apartments and will not be living there much longer.
