Currently, I do not have issues with quality. Both projects were completed timely. Unfortunately, the two-star review is for the financial transition experience for the car on 12/26/24. We tried reaching out via text, website contact, email, and Facebook contact with zero response. My husband was quoted 400 verbally for the tint of the car. He told my husband if you pay Venmo, there is no tax. My husband had to step away and I handled the financially transaction. My husband in hindsight, wish he was there, to confront the payment. He charged 550 for the tint of the car. He also told me, that there is no tax if you pay cash only. He said that there is tax if you pay Venmo. I paid with card, as I had no cash on me. I told my husband, he charged 550. My husband said that is not what was agreed too. We tried reaching out for explanation before we wrote this review, but there has been no attempt by him. As for the other observations, I will note in this review. Extremely late to both scheduled appointments. On 12/25/24, on Christmas night, we get a phone call after 10:30 PM. We did not pick up the phone. We were in bed. Who calls on Christmas night after 10pm to a customer? We believe the call was to confirm the appointment on 12/26/24. He also texted afterwards on Christmas night. Upon paying, I noticed that he was very "tired" & "slow" talking, semi spaced out. Upon explaining how to care for the tinting, he kept repeating the same thing about 3 times. His partner had to step into the conversation and say, what he is trying to say is....... try to cure the car in the sun. I didn't have good experience observing the slow behavior and talk. I also found it unprofessional that they had a very small dog or puppy in their vehicle on cold day as they worked. I didn't notice this until we paid. I would have questioned this, if we noticed the dog earlier. I suggest if you do get your vehicles serviced to request a paper or electronic trail of the quote, NOT verbal. He also didn't put break light back in. We called. He gave an attitude and seemed bothered and OFF, when we called. Stay away!!!

I would avoid this shop at all costs…read more I was told I'd be getting a package with PPF and a 1 year ceramic coating, and that I should drop my car off Saturday with pickup on Sunday. When I dropped the car off, I was suddenly told they don't really work weekends (even though people were clearly working in the shop) and that it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. They also claimed they were using "Legend PPF," which they said was better than XPEL. When I collected my car, I immediately noticed issues including a bubble in the front hood of the PPF, but Chess wasn't there. The lady at the shop brushed it off and told me to talk to Chess. When I called Chess later, he said sunlight would fix it and told me to come back a month later for them to check it. A month later, the PPF already had several rock chips and scratches and was not self healing ,all in just a month. I scheduled another appointment with Chess to fix the bubbling, smudging, and because they said they would thoroughly check it and fix any issues they found. I drove an hour from Buckhead, took time off work, only to arrive at a closed shop. Chess made an excuse, saying the person who needed to be there had left, and then sent me to a different shop, AP3 in Marietta. Maybe it was true, but it was not professional at all and I ended up wasting a whole hour. At AP3 Marietta, I was told the front hood PPF needed to be replaced. They simply trimmed around the worst spots of the poor install. Chess promised to replace the full front hood PPF, but when I brought my car back, he went back on his word. Instead, he told me their shop "allows up to 10% installation error," which is unacceptable. To make things worse, one of the installers dismissed my concerns by saying, "It's just a Toyota." Chess had also mentioned at one point that they "only work nights," which made the entire operation of the shop feel very strange and unprofessional. At this point, I don't even know what PPF they actually installed. Their Instagram says XPEL, Chess told me Legend, the invoice says nothing, the installer mentioned another brand, and the shop signs advertise yet another brand. The film is clearly not self healing, already scratched, and performing terribly. Seeing these issues, I recommended my girlfriend not go ahead with Perfection Wraps. She had her PPF done elsewhere with XPEL Plus, and they did a mind blowing job. Her car has already taken rock chips and healed as expected. Meanwhile, I am stuck with a disappointing install, poor customer service, broken promises, and film that doesn't perform as advertised. Overall, the entire experience has been exhausting and disappointing, full of broken promises, delays, and complete disorganization. I am now considering taking my car to another shop, the same one where my girlfriend had a great experience. It is a bit pricier, but at this point I will be racking up a bigger bill just to reverse the job these guys did and the poor quality PPF they installed

I can't say this enough. They were more on top of the communication than I was and I need this done quickly.
