I'll talk about my second fiasco. They sold me a "loaner" which turned out to be a wrecked rental. When I gave car back the front tire kept going flat. They aired it up and sold it to Bryan as a "loaner" that had never been owned by anyone. They had this car for months and couldn't clean one drop of the primer off. The GSM yelled at me in Service and called me a bully. That time they hsd the car 7 weeks and did nothing. I recorded it. I found auction it came from which included pictures. This dealership is absolutely ridiculous. I purchased a vehicle here and within less than 30 days of having the car it is no longer drivable. The seller lied about the vehicle's condition. They provided misleading information and hid the fact that the vehicle has major issues. After contacting the dealership the "manager" Donald Williams gives me the run around for 2 days and refuses to take my calls. He even hung up the phone while trying to explain all of these issues. The vehicle has now been towed to 3 different mechanics. I had the car towed to another Cavender dealership near me (as I was instructed to do) where they proceeded to tell me that they are not even able to operate on the vehicle be they don't have the adequate system to do so. This has been the biggest headache and also unlawful on their part. I have been trying to get in contact with a supervisor but the so called "manager" Donald Williams refuses to give me their contact. I am completely shocked w how they run their business. This is an absolutely horrible place to purchase a vehicle with horrible management. I have been without a vehicle for almost 2 weeks now be they sold me a piece of junk and refuse to offer me a solution. Do not purchase a vehicle here unless you want to go through the hassle of having to file complaints w the attorney general, tx department of motor vehicles, and hiring an attorney to pursue legal action due to their unlawful practices. If I could give Cavender's more than 5 stars, I would. The General Manager, Stavros, is absolutely amazing and truly goes above and beyond to provide top-tier service. To be transparent, our initial visit wasn't great. The experience was rough, and the customer service just wasn't there. We purchased two vehicles, and I immediately regretted mine. It had some mechanical issues and just didn't feel right. I felt like my concerns weren't being taken seriously, so I asked to speak with the GM--and that's when everything turned around. Stavros listened, took immediate action, got the repairs handled, set me up with a rental, and made sure I was completely taken care of. Knowing I still had concerns, he even offered to help me find something else. He gave me time to think it over, talk with my husband, and explore my options with no pressure. When I found something I liked at another location hours away, Stavros had it brought in. After driving it, I wasn't thrilled--and he noticed. Instead of pushing the sale, he encouraged me to try something else, and I ended up falling in love with a different car. He made the financing and paperwork a breeze. Stavros is a true asset to this dealership. I know Cavender's has had a tough reputation in the past, but give them a chance--big changes are happening, and it's because of people like him. I purchased a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox from this dealership not even two weeks ago and it is already in the shop with a check engine light and no acceleration (limp mode). It was my first time buying/financing a car so I brought my dad and stepmom with me to help me make the best decision. We picked a car with a reasonable price and under 23,000 miles. This past weekend it displayed "reduced engine power" and "limp mode" then the check engine light came on and I had to have it towed to a Chevrolet dealership under original warranty. I explained to Cavender the situation and how frustrating it was to not have a vehicle to get to and from work and asked them for a solution as the dealership had no loaners available at the time. Cavender said they could not help me and would not supply me with a rental or loaner because I didn't drive the car 40 minutes to them (even though warranty explicitly states these types of repairs should be done at a Chevrolet dealership). It's their "store policy" to not assist with loaners if the repairs are not happening there. Also, they didn't even read my messages properly because they messaged me asking about my interest in the car I already purchased and if I took it to them for repairs (first message stated I did not). So basically I am out my car I JUST financed with them, AND they will not assist me with any solutions. I was hoping my first car buyer experience would be positive but it is starting to be ruined and, more than that, beyond an inconvenience. read more

They will sell you an SUV that has no oil changes for 20,000 miles and lie about doing an oil change the day you buy it. When this SUVs engine goes out and needs to be replaced because of the lack of maintenance by the dealership they will take no ownership of the problem and say there is nothing they can do after trying to deny that you purchased the SUV from them. I have the purchase report and tag on the back says Cavender! If you want to be out thousands of dollars then please go ahead and buy a car from them, but be prepared to buy another one less than 3 years later because they do not care about their customers or reputation. read more

Terrible service!! ***Please read your sale control before signing! **** They tried to include things that were never agreed to multiple times before we signed paperwork but left out things we had agreed to off of the final sale agreement. I was told that the vehicle purchased was brand new but used as a loaner vehicle for the service department. Later, after getting settled into my car, I found registration paperwork for the prior owner of the vehicle I had just purchased... I brought this to my car salesman's attention, and it was met with pure apathy nor an apology. I was able to make contact with the prior owner of my vehicle who brought me up to speed with the reason she is no longer in this vehicle. To make a long story short, the vehicle has primer all over it! The dealership did not work with the prior owner to have all this removed instead got her into another vehicle and put the same vehicle back on the lot to be sold with hopes that a naïve customer would purchase it and not notice these defects. Also, I have reviewed all the documentation that was provided to me and discovered that multiple things I was told would be included with the purchase of the car, we're not! I am very upset with my purchase here... save yourself the heartburn and go elsewhere. read more

2022 review- Well informed of their product. Upfront Pricing... Owner was actually there while I was buying and was pleasure to deal with. This Nissan dealer changed owners sometime after I bought my Truck. Current events: 2025 Service review.Took my 34k in warranty 2022 Nissan Frontier. due to: 1. Transmission Recall - Not completed by them 2. Broken rear seat belt under warranty - Not Completed by them 3. ADAS (Advance Drivability Assistance System) malfunction. Vehicle Condition- Aftermarket windshield for the last 2.5 years 2 inch lift 3 years. According to Nissan Rockwall Service, I needed to pay a 3 hour re-calibration fee just to diagnose it. First red flag... Re-calibrantion takes 10 minutes. They claimed the malfunction was due to the aftermarket windshield & camera loose. FYI Mirror was lose not camera. So, I said no because they were both on vehicle for 2.5 years. to that I told them they made a wrong diagnosis if they could not figure it out to leave it. I went to pick it up and they had the nerve to charged me one hour... over $200.00. They never did the recall. They wanted to charge me for the seat-belt because it was broken after I bought it. Whats the warranty for? I took it elsewhere, 2 minutes into it They had a solution. It had a malfunction code clear as day C1B00-49 Bad camera. Replaced the camera..., problem solve. Replaced seat belt under warranty and did the recall. Nissan Mckinney has knowledgeable Technicians. I took it to Nissan because it is under warranty. It just so happens that I am an ASE certified master tech. They may play those games with others but not me. These people in Rockwall are either not very good at their job or they want to suck us dry. Either way I would not recommend them. Side note: They lost me as a client and I've bought my last 2 vehicles with them. This is the first warranty type issue. and this is how they rolled it. Think twice before going there. 1 read more

Typical dealer, they are in the business of making money. Always read over the contract before signing. Finance office added $3,400 in add ons without asking us if we wanted it and trying to hide it by extending payment months, lowering interest by a few points and only raising the monthly payment by a few dollars hoping we didn't catch it. When we asked why the financed amount was so much more, he said he was doing us a favor and got our payment around the agreed amount before walking in to his office. Sneaky sneaky sneaky. Then came back with the usual if you don't take these add ons, we are raising the interest by a couple points. I told them from the beginning I was a seasoned car buyer, this was my 15th car purchase and they still tried to rip me off. Took too long to perform scheduled service. Once I left the service lot, my windshield washer fluid light came on. That tells me that this was not filled up during my vehicles service. I left at around 2:30ish and then called back to figure out why the fluid was not filled. I was told to come back. I came back and got in line and stood out side of my vehicle for a few minutes till some addressed me. They asked if I had been helped. I explained that I just left here for my vehicle being serviced in and there was a discrepancy. He asked me who assisted me and I said it was Brian or something close to that. He knew who I was talking about and said he was out on a delivery or some thing. He told me to wait till he got back from the delivery. I was not willing to wait till someone got back from deliver to just get my fluid topped off when it should have been completed initially . I arrived early to my appointment and spent almost 2 hours there. This is the third time I have been blown off with this dealership. Not very happy or pleased with how business is done at Cavender in Rockwall. *Update 8 Aug 23* Guess what?? Still waiting for Cavender Nissan to fix my issues from the above. Windshield washer sensor is still broke and nobody has responded to my numerous calls and messages I have left. Time for a minus on the stars *. And they won't even refund my money as I am a disabled veteran. I registered for my disabled veteran plates in Greenville. Cavender Nissan of Rockwall will not refund money. They are playing dumb and don't know what I am talking about and here I am at least 5 months has passes and not a single email or phone call. Cavender Nissan. I bought a Nissan Armada August 10, 2023. Bought the "Ultimate Protection Plan" that includes tires and rims protection. Wed Nov 1 I noticed a screw in my front tire drivers side. Under 3000 miles on the Armada/tire. I Drove to the dealer and showed the service dept. I was told they couldn't patch because it was too close to the sidewalk and they'd have to submit for approval to replace it. Friday Nov 3 I hadn't heard anything so I stopped by the service dept again. They had no record of my previous visit. I told them I didn't feel safe driving with a screw in my tire so they put the spare on. I gave them another copy of my protection plan. On Monday I tried to call. You can't call the service dept. directly, you have to go through a central switch board. They put me on hold and said the service dept had not received approval and they would call me when they do. So now it's 5 days, I'm driving with no spare. What good is the tire protection plan if you can't get a tire? I paid over a $1000 dollars for an ultimate protection plan with tire protection that is useless. Ridiculous to wait nearly a week for a tire so I can drive my $70,000 Armada. read more

I have been to a few dealerships over the years and have never had experience like this at cavenders nissan of rockwall. The WORST customer sevice. Our salesperson (Aaron Johnson) very rude, don't give a crap attitude. I've been calling to get a few things done to the vehicle that were agreed to get done when purchased but no one answers or calls back. Requested to speak to the manager and to this day have not heard from him/her. This is a very unreliable dealership. People do yourselves a favor and keep driving past this place. My wife and I had an excellent experience purchasing her vehicle at Cavender Nissan! We were worried about maintaining our budget, given everything we have been reading regarding the limited availability of cars and rising prices--however, this played in our favor. We received more for our trade-in than we had expected, which was a 2015 Nissan Juke. And my wife got the brand new Nissan Rogue that she wanted, with the only downside being that we had to wait a few days for the vehicle to arrive. Huge shout out to Delano Palmer and the Cavender Nissan team, who helped work out our deal to where we felt excited to drive home in our new car & comfortable knowing that we could manage the payments. Beware before you purchase a used car from this dealership. I will never go back. I'm not sure how they stay in business. We purchased a jeep from them on July 1. When we test drove it, the check engine light was on. We had to leave the car and said that they would fix and the car would be delivered on Monday. I told them that I would be at work. Anthony said no problem and they would deliver the car to my work address and pick up the car that we traded in. First thing Monday morning I text Anthony my work address where the car needs to be delivered. I heard nothing all day. Not from him, not from the service department, nothing. I made a call to the service department to check the status. The person I talked to had no idea regarding the jeep and transferred me to someone's voicemail without telling me first. I left a message, I believe it was the manager of the service department. He never returned my call. The next day was a holiday. I started the process all over again on Wednesday. Between my husband and I we left several messages with various people, talked to a few people who said to give them 10-15 minutes and they would call us back with an update. WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALL BACKS! All attempts for communication and updates were initiated by us. This went on for almost a week. Finally on Thursday we were told the car was being delivered that day. Once again I gave them my work address. When I was told he was on his way i got worried when it took unusually long for the car to arrive. I called the dealership to get an update. That is when I found out he was on the way to our house not my work address. Three different times I gave someone my work address. Let me just say, there is no communication among the employees of this place or with their customers. It's very frustrating when you spend a lot of time and money buying a car and once they have made the sale they are basically done with you. Oh one more thing. We had deactivated our toll tag on our trade in. The person who delivered our car from Rockwall to Colleyville took the toll road to Colleyville and then took the toll road back to Rockwall. I found out when we got a notice from NTTA in the mail. Love my Jeep but will never repeat business here. read more
