Should be 0 stars Purchased a 2026 CX5 Premium…read moreI have so much to say but it gets too long. Buying a car from this dealership was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was all set to buy a car from Autex Mazda in Keene, but I was not crazy about the color selection they had. The one color I wanted was on their lot. Biggest mistake of my life. Mcgee was great before I got to the lot. Contacted me almost daily to get me there. Once there it all went downhill. I never had the salesman's full attention, I felt like I was intruding into his day. I got zero effort from him once I picked the car I was going to purchase. (good thing I knew what I wanted) He never took any time at all to explain the warrantee, never offered or talked about extended warrantee, never took the time to do a walk around to show me all my car could do and all the new technology included. I expected to go back to the office to finish details of the sale, instead he sent runners to my house with the car and pages to sign. I thought he was coming to finish up. I should have sent them back, I was unprepared to deal with that and honestly felt uncomfortable about it. That is on me for not speaking up. The next day I was getting emails with forms for me to sign that should have been done before the sale was finalized. They just wanted my money, once they got it, they wanted me gone. I had some issues with the car. Went to the dealer ship twice. service dept was condescending as hell. Argued with me about the issue being with me. That being just a woman, the car had too much technology for me to understand. Said my issue was either I didn't know how to correctly push the button on my phone to engage remote start or it was my cell service. They thought I was too dumb not to know the difference between cell service problems and app problems. When I sent a letter to the GM about this, he responded by calling me Karen, that was not a mistake. With the way the service dept spoke to me, this is the atmosphere at this dealership. Next day I was argued with again by another man in the service dept telling me it was my cell service and nothing was wrong with my car or the app. They clearly didn't want to work on my car because they either didn't know how to fix it or knew they couldn't but instead of being upfront and telling me there was an issue with the APP, they blamed it on me. I had been in contact with Mazda customer care center. They admitted they were having issues with the app but were working on it. I received notice from Mazda a week later telling me a new software update was available, and I had to take it back to the dealer. I told her I would never step foot in there again. She made my appointment at Autex. It is now fixed. Autex were wonderful, even if I didn't buy it from them, they care about their customers and their satisfaction. So Mcgee, do you feel good blaming the issues on your customer when everyone knew it was with the Mazda app itself? Great business tactics. Perhaps a meeting with HR is in order

We were there to look at what our options were and how much we were looking at for a payment we didn't even have a dollar in our pocket YET WE LEFT WITH A CAR. At first he was cool and chill explaining to my man with no credit he wasn't going to be approved for a truck like he wanted. So the salesman showed him something in his budget which was a 2016 Subaru Impreza told my man he has these cars for credit building and the payment would be 330 a month. He was telling us what we wanted to hear. When we called for insurance we were told a number which mad it so we wouldn't be able to cover everything as we had a newborn at the time. When we told the salesman that we couldnt afford the insurance so we weren't gonna move forward with the car. The salesman payed the first month of insurance himself so he could continue pushing us into the car well we left with it and have made the payment work. Here a year later I'm finding out he over sold us by 10 thousand dollars we took it to a brand dealership and they put the car through Kelly blue book and the car is only work 6 thousand at the most and he sold it to us for 16 thousand plus a 3thousand dollar warranty so we can't even trade the car in and we have already spent near to more than 2 thousand dollars on repairs and to find out the whole exhaust is rusted through. This place is a scam and we are stuck with this rust bucket cuz no bank will approve us for a loan for a car when we have to roll over 10 thousand ontop of the new car.

After working out a deal on the phone--with offers confirmed repeatedly over text--on a trade-in of my existing Crosstrek and a lease of a new Outback Wilderness, I visited Dan O'Brien Subaru psyched to leave with a new car. After waiting for almost 20 minutes for the sales manager's time, my wife and I sat down at a table intending to sign paperwork to complete the transaction we had agreed to before coming in. Instead, after making something resembling a sexist remark involving my wife, the sales manager presented me with a deal for a purchase of the car--not a lease--that would have resulted in a monthly payment almost $200 more than what we agreed to on the phone. Then, when I insisted that I see the lease deal they offered on the phone, the sales manager went back to his office for several minutes. He returned with a lease offer that was $100 more per month and shorter in lease term than what I was quoted on the phone. He claimed it was the best offer he could make. When I asked why there was such a difference between this offer and the one I was promised, he blamed the online estimation system they used to generate offers. He said that, in his time at the dealership, this had been a consistent problem: the online system seemed to always generate inaccurate offers. Bottom line: the sales manager at Dan O'Brien Subaru is knowingly--and apparently repeatedly--using an inaccurate tool to offer quoted prices that he has zero intention of honoring. I'm guessing he's doing this to lure people into the dealership in the hope that they'll agree to the higher price once they're there and see the car, etc. If I were a lawyer, I'd look into fraud charges. But I'm not, so I'll have to settle with having spent an afternoon learning to never set foot at Dan O'Brien Subaru again, and make sure that no one I care about does, either. One star because the play area they had for my kids was nice, and because free bottled water and snacks were a nice gesture.
