He could only say a handful of words at 2.5 years old. I was worried, I would hear other children during playdates saying their colors and numbers and I felt my son was behind. Within only a few months of sending him here he speaks full sentences and he has completely transformed into an advanced speaking child. The teachers are above and beyond and you can tell they really care about their students. The owner and principal are amazing as well. My son does not cry when I drop him off, he is actually excited to go to school and never puts up a fight.

Despite talking a lot about the curriculum, Oak Grove really just provides babysitting services. They will show you the binders of curriculum and that it's posted outside the classroom door. But curriculum is only as good as how well its implemented. There was little education or development during our time there. The staff at Oak Grove is babysitting, not educating. The large classrooms look fantastic, until you realize how many kids they have in a classroom. They will tell you that they meet state requirements for teacher/student ratios, but just because you CAN have so many kids in a classroom doesn't mean that you SHOULD. Classrooms are chaotic and teachers are overwhelmed. There were a number of other issues during our time with Oak Grove, but the overall issue is that you can get better for your money. Oak Grove may seem cheaper at first, but other daycares include extracurriculars in the tuition that Oak Grove charges extra for. By the time you include the cost of extracurriculars, Oak Grove is not cheaper. Also, Oak Grove had parents provide food and supplies for holiday parties, but at our new school all holiday parties, egg hunts, etc are funded by the school. So much more convenient for the parents! We regret the time we wasted at Oak Grove and are so much happier with our new school. ------------------------- Note about the response from the school: Again, they quotes ratios. Be sure to ask how many kids total are in the class and how many of the adults in the class are true teachers versus helpers/assistants. I know that at one point there were almost 30 kids in my child's class. That is simply too many toddlers in a room. That said, considering the number of families who unenrolled their kids this year, the ratios probably have improved... but not for the right reasons. Also said in the initial review, the leadership talks a lot about the curriculum... but the curriculum is only as good as how well it's implemented. Lastly, why on earth would the owner want to contact me months after we have left other than to attempt to improve my review? If they were truly concerned, they would have worked on improving the situation before we and other families chose to leave.

The academics are top-notch and the athletics and extra-curricular offerings are all that you would get from a larger school, but with more opportunity given the smaller size. You and your children are "known" at BCA and are part of a large, loving family. Our children have made their faith their own and all have strong character traits that we greatly attribute to BCA. Since BCA goes through 8th grade, our oldest child has recently transitioned to a large public high school and is flourishing. Thank you Bridgeway for loving, teaching and shepherding our children so well!!! We have often said...Bridgeway is the best kept secret in North Fulton for Christian education!

20/20 is hindsight here... this is lengthy…read more In mid-July of 2019, a foster child was placed in my home. You can imagine my anxiety and stress at the time, but when I got a call from Cynthia saying that I can enroll my kiddo in their GA Pre-K program, it was such a relief. Paperwork completed, court docs submitted to the school, hastey orientation/open house provided... the school year was rocky, but with a lot of patience and support from Ms. Lisa and Binal, we made it through to March 2020... COVID 19. Honestly, Ms. Lisa and Binal are why I am giving two stars instead of just one. Bright from the Start categorizes our students based upon their socio economic status and needs. This is done behind the scene's and is the provider's responsibility to request adequate documentation and properly categorize the kids when reporting to the state. Needless to say, my foster child was miscategorized. I was charged monthly for meals which the state/federal gov would have provided at no expense to me, if this clerical error did not occur. I found this out when applying for much needed aid during this pandemic. Again, due to this error, my Child did not qualify. I spoke with the DOE along with the Department of Human Services, and because the reports were submitted in error, there is no way to correct my student's record. After finding all of this out, I requested a full refund and the value of the aid lost. I emailed Tiffany, Brittney, Cynthia and their Bright from the Start Rep. I followed up, requesting a corporate contact... no response. I contacted the corporate office's generic number and recruiter and left messages. After a month of no response, I emailed the CEO and CFO of Spring Education, whose name I pulled from the secretary of state's website, along with the school administrators. I FINALLY received a response. This response was from corporate's counsel & yes, all blame is being put on me. I didn't provide the documents needed to properly categorize my Child, and apparently, I was asked "repeatedly" for it. A blatant lie. If you are thinking of enrolling in the GA Pre-K Program here and your Child has an IEP or is on MediCaid, do not. The administrators of the school are not familiar with the services available and are clueless when it comes to Public Education Programs.

Overall, we've been very happy with the experience at LSP Roswell. The teachers and staff seemed to…read moretruly care about our daughter (and all kids). While a couple of issues have come up during our tenure there, we have to give credit to the Admin as they have always been quick to address and taken any of our concerns seriously. However, I feel I would be doing both myself and the community a disservice if I wasn't honest about what we encountered. Within just one week of attendance, our concerns grew. We collected our 1-year-old son twice to find him in dirty diapers, and the general cleanliness of the facility was lacking. While the teachers seemed genuinely invested, the high child-to-caregiver ratio likely led to these oversights. Alarmingly, we witnessed young children being placed in timeout, a practice not allowed for their age in GA. When we raised concerns, especially after paying $3,000 for that week, the daycare dismissed us claiming they were very clear upfront about setting expectations. (We clearly expected more from them than they did of themselves.). Eventually the daycare stopped answering our questions. Parents, please think carefully before choosing Little Miss Sunshines playhouse.

There is an app you will get authorized parental access to and you will remotely unlock an outdoor door then further an inner door and you will be warmly greeted by the Director, who is working to make sure all families are happy. The PreK Teacher is also very warm and friendly although my son was too young for that program and is now in a science program for gifted children. I struggled dropping my baby off for the first time, but we have both grown to love daycare so much. Now when I pick him up, he doesn't even want to leave. New ownership in 2023 has made so many great changes. There is better communication, cosmetic touch ups to the school, and I believe there is more teacher training. We can't recommend Goddard Holcomb bridge enough.

Crossroads Christian Academy has been our school of choice for our children for the past 5 years. We have sent 3 of our 4 children there starting them at 12 weeks and finishing through preK. The school is very attentive to children's needs, student to teacher ratio is always maintained and the communication with parents is exceptional. The director is always present and does an excellent job working with parents who have children with additional needs or strong will! I am always at ease when dropping my children off I know they will be well cared for. Highly recommend!
