Having a nurse do my nose swab incorrectly having to do it twice. Not being able to eat all day. Being sat in a hallway in an uncomfortable chair. Barely being attended to. Not super great. Getting attitudes from female doctors/ nurses. Not a good thing. I understand it can be/ get hectic but it's their job to care for patients no matter what. I'm pretty disappointed in my experience. Not all of it was bad but majority of it was. Definitely will be going to HealthPark instead if I ever need to go to the emergency room. I usually have good experiences with this place , but now..? It's not that good. The guy doctors/ nurses had way better attitudes and customer services than the girls. ‍‍

I drove myself to HealthPark never been here before and wasn't sure what to expect, what I did know was I had no hope!..From the second I stepped in I was proven absolutely wrong. The staff was so amazing from the waiting room to the ER to being moved upstairs after being told I would not be leaving that day. Everyone I encountered made me feel comfortable, they all made sure to express how important me and my situation was to them. My nurse happened to be a travel nurse so she isn't always going to be there but I was lucky enough to have her. She was absolutely amazing! I don't remember her name unfortunately to give her, her flowers I wanna say it was Joanne..But I would definitely recommend I stayed for about 13 hrs before having to be transferred to another hospital.

The trauma team that whisked me in as we arrived have to be the best group of doctors and nurses and other care workers I have ever encountered. I had a phone interview with Lorraine and Darrel on 3/22 that went well enough that they brought me in for an in person panel interview on 4/05. Yes, a bit of an unusual delay, but that is their MO, in spades. Read on. That interview went extremely well and I really was convinced that I'd found the right place and would fit in immediately because of how well my diverse IT background fit the organization and what my responsibilities would be. The HR rep, Ryan, told me that if everything went as well as it appeared I could be on board by "mid April". Well the end of April and first week or so of Nay came and went and...nothing. I was frustrated and told them I was disconcerted and no longer interested. The HR dude was off for paternity leave and his replacement asked a week or so later if I was still interested. I said I was even though they had since told me IF they brought me on it would be at a lesser grade level for less pay "so you'll have room to move up." More weeks went by and after I asked was told that Darrel, the manager to whom I'd report, wanted to bring me back for a 3 hour one in two with him and his PM whom I'd be working with. Sure, I thought, what do I have to lose? I went there for 3 hours and again it couldn't have gone any better. Darrel knee he could plug me right in and I'd immediately be productive. He said he wanted me in, as he told Lorraine, the boss woman who's been there over 20 years, after my first in person interview. He said to expect someone to get back to me by next Wednesday (3 business days). Next Wednesday came and went, as did the following week. I finally emailed Darrel directly, and he said he'd call me by the end of the day. No call. Now two business days later I got an email from Ryan, the HR guy for their IT / IS group saying, sorry, don't shoot the messenger, but you didn't get the job. Today is 6/25, over THREE MONTHS after I was first contacted. I am 100% convinced that Lee Health is inept and irresponsible not their hiring and most likely their management of IT and most likely other departments and after over 3 months of being strung along feel grateful they did not hire me so I do not have to put up with their unprofessionally inept practices on the job. I HIGHLY recommend you steer clear of ANY job you may wish to apply for with LEE HEALTH of Ft. Meyers, Florida.

But in Er department after coming in by ambulance Had shut the door call light fell and was 45 minutes with out a way to communicate. My phone was dead no charger. They have private rooms only thing when you put on your light they answer from the wall and ask what do you need, instead of May I help you . Lots of people not listening to the patient. The doctor whom I saw was Dr Erika Johnson. Dr Johnson was very nice to deal with, discussed my situation and we had a plan. I think the best thing is you never felt rushed or that it was some sort of treadmill type of facility. It was as if I was at my physicians office back home. Would not hesitate to use them again and will recommend them and Dr Johnson as well.

After waiting nearly an hr in waiting room, there was no communication btwn staff, we must've seen 3 MAs over 5 different times for a walking boot. The DO claims she read his PMH and RX list which included anticoagulant and still pushed for NSAIDs.. which I refused. She came in with an aircast that could fit my kid. When I refused to the aircast she returned w/a walk-in boot which she handed to me saying " u do this all the time, so u do it". Like wth Today appt was at 1015, got there at 945, and wasn't seen til 1120.. I had to go out of the rm to find out what's going on. I was told another MD just came in 30mins ago and they r playing catch up‍. At least the MD was more knowledgeable than the 1st one. Still makes me scratch my head with certain thing or way it's done. We were not told abt a FU appt, he barely looked at my fiances ankle.. just said " no bruising on bottom of foot that a foo sign, cuz that means surgery ". Like smh.. then asked my fiance what his restrictions should say?! Aren't u the Dr here ? All I'm saying is "employer if ur looking for OCC health " don't choose Concentra.
