I apologize now that I don't know the official names of the following: they have something used to stretch the neck while standing, a squished ball you sit on to help warm up the hips and back, and a "bed" you lie down on that massages the back and neck. You visually see them clean everything after working with a patient. They ended up taking the doors off the hindges so that patients didn't have one more thing to touch. Seating is about 6 feet apart and other patients are aware and definitely keep their distance. Dr. Glennon is friendly and definitely knows how to align someones back. I think it's completely ludicrous and unfair, hence why I am posting a review today! I have been a patient here since September 2016 and joined because I was was pregnant with my second baby and experiencing severe back and neck pain. After a very thorough consultation, a plan was recommended for me to not just "snap and crack" away my symptoms, but to really treat the underlying issues. It was a rigorous program and a time commitment from me at first, but as soon as I showed positive progress, the sessions decreased. The goal with my plan is to get me to a place to where my issues are resolved so that I no longer have to receive treatments. Without insurance, it would be quite pricey - as would most health treatments without insurance. I am fortunate enough to have insurance so it does defray my costs, but it is a financial commitment. But - it's also a commitment to my short and long term health, so I have made it work. To the previous reviewers point - if you are looking for a one time in and out, snap and crack place that doesn't value your overall health - then this place isn't for you. If you are looking for doctors to help you to truly overcome your issues - then look no further! I searched by my insurance for more options and I came across Blooming Bellies. I started with Dr Alterman when I was about 5 months pregnant. She helped with my chronic pregnancy pain and if anything happened (I slipped once) they fit me in for an extra adjustment right away. I love the flexible scheduling, sometimes I had to come straight from another doctor and nailing down an exact time can be challenging. Chiropractic care was the only thing that helped my pain level and stuck over time. Another amazing aspect of this practice is the overall care team. They recommend certain specialists. I've been seeing Renata the massage therapist since about three months pregnant. She specializes in the lymphatic system and I didn't swell at all with a huge twin pregnancy! Not to mention massage feels really good and I could sometimes even get some sleep on the table! They also had a recommendation for an IBCLC and she has been amazing too.
