Strangely, the side of the house farthest from the AC unit was the coldest, while the bedrooms never seemed to cool down properly. Initially, they thought some plumbing underneath the house might be restricting the cold-air returns and recommended that I have that addressed first. I had the plumbing moved to improve the airflow, but unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. The MainStream team came back and continued troubleshooting the system. They carefully checked the ductwork until they discovered a damper that was restricting airflow to the bedrooms. Once they opened the damper, the difference was immediate. The system is now distributing air properly, and the temperature throughout my house is more consistent than it has been in years. What impressed me most was that they didn't simply give up when the first possible solution didn't fix the problem. They came back, continued investigating, found the actual cause, and corrected it. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from MainStream Heating and Cooling and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC service. After each day he would he would explain what happened that day and what was coming up for the next day. Anything that would be further out than the next day, he inform us of that date as well. When his employees completed their task(s), he would swing by again to ensure quality work was done and would have his assistant record any & all "touch ups" for them to complete the next day to ensure quality work and his employees always followed through. Ray and Rachel (employees) were always on time and had the greatest attitudes, not to mention their skills were top shelf. He used a sub for tile installment named Brandon and that dude was the most professional "tile guy" I've ever encountered. He LOVES his job and will tell you about it too! Lol!
