Well it's time to check on my BIG TOE. I cracked it a year ago and I was told by another doctor to just to let it heal and it would be ok. Well it heal or is at 95% but it's healing incorrectly. My toe won't bend backwards toward me without hurting and when I place my foot on the ground flat footed the toe is barely touches. So I came here because it's always and I mean always crowded-I know that's not a good reason but it's a start. It's crowded now. Secondly the reviews online said that I maybe able to trust them. So I am here. Now my appointment is at 10a and no one has come out or even looked at the sign in list - it's a little after 10. Now I will say I was a little hesitant about visiting after making my reservation. The reason why is that the young lady I spoke to on the phone seemed to get irritated with me as she took my information. I finally get new patient paperwork for my 10am appointment at 10:19a. Pretty ticked about now...They finally saw me at about 10:47a. They are good people, I wished they would smile more. Now Dr. Cuza is cool, knows his stuff and a Doctor that I recommend. I would have given them today a 3 star rating but the Doc and his personality and love for what he does pushes it to a 4 read more

I had the worst experience with a white middle aged secretary called lisa she had short hair is chunky and looks like she hates her job or just hispanic people. I was checking out and spoke to an assistant next to her wearing glasses I thought she would check me out but she said that lisa would she she said ill check if you have a copay and i was talking to the one with glasses telling her i met my family max and lisa turned to me and said dont you see there is a patient infront of you and i was in no way rushing her . She spoke to me very rudely i was so disgusted by her lack of professionalism and racism. She treated the white patient really well before me. As she is checking me out she says you have a copay of 50 dollars i told her i do not i met my family out of pocket before i can ask her to check anything she smacks her lips and rolls her eyes as if anything was coming out of her pocket and we get into it and i told her she is rude . I asked for her name and she called me rude and started to yell. we both just kept yelling back and forth as i was trying to ask for manager .she slammed the door of the front check in very hard i am surprised it didnt crack. The manager did not offer any solutions just apologizes. It seems to me like she talks to anyone in that disrespectful manner who is hispanic. The girl that had glasses even apologized for her she seemed like she was scared of her and is used to her pissy attitude the doctors are great i am just disappointed they allow such unprofessional low class people to work in their office . read more

I just had my first appointment with a podiatrist, Dr. Scott McKinney, at the McKinney Podiatric Associates office in Pasadena (Texas.) After having had severe, chronic foot pain for about 4 or 5 months (that was interfering with my life and productivity, and making me feel constantly tired and in pain), Dr. McKinney assured me that there was a solution for my pain. The first step was to make a diagnosis as to when the possible cause of the foot pain was, and then take xrays and run some blood tests to confirm what was the cause of the pain so that it can be properly treated, and treated correctly. The goal is to not only relieve the pain and swelling, but to prevent such problems in the future. I just had my lab work done today, the day after my appointment, and I am optimistic that I will soon know what is causing my distress, which will be the first step to finding a way to solve my problems. I have an oral steroid that I'm beginning a short course of to reduce the swelling, and then a follow-up appointment in a couple of weeks to go over the findings of my lab work with the doctor, and to begin a new treatment (based on my lab results) to end the disabling pain in my feet so that I can end this constant pain, and get my life back again. I'm feeling good about my experiences and my future prospects here so far, after not making any progress with my regular general physician. I definitely needed a specialist, a really good podiatrist, to solve this horrible health problem that I've been having for almost half a year now, and it looks like I have finally found that. read more

Setting up appointment was easy. There wait to see the Dr on the day of appointment was minimal. Dr Moss was pleasant. He assessed my issue and explained the problem. He offered several options to address my foot problem. I'm very pleased!!! The only thing that prevented me from giving them 5 stars was the fact that the Rx for my pain was not sent to the pharmacy in s timely manner. I had to call one time a few hours after my appointment and the following day after the appointment. I was able to fill the medicine before the pharmacy closed a day after my appointment. read more

First I will say Dr Hassan is a pleasure, but that is where the accolades will stop in this review. I chose this office because I am an employee at the hospital next door (like literally connected). Imagine my shock to find out that this physician doesn't accept my insurance. I was not notified until 3 months and 4 visits later when I was sent a bill. Not only that I was making payments each visit since this was a specialist so it's not covered at 100%. The office staff failed to notify me, and no one really knew why I wasn't notified. Also I had the keri-flex nail applied to my toenail and the person who did it was completely incompetent. She didn't wear a mask, hardly wore gloves and isn't a trained nail technician, but the office charges $75 per nail. It only lasted 5 days. All in all besides Dr Hassan being nice, and friendly everything else is a wash, and I won't be going back. read more

Made an appointment for my son, by calling the League city location. Because that's where I live. Only to show up and be told it was scheduled for the Pasadena location. I then drive 30 mins to Pasadena with 2 small children who were ready to leave after waiting a good 45mins without being seen. So we left. And ya'll seriously need to get a handle on informing people what location you are booking them for. If I call the League City location I'm expecting to be seen at that location. ​ read more

I came to McKinney podiatric because I had had some pain in my foot for a few months. Met with Dr. Reyes and she had me do an MRI, and it showed that I had a torn plantar plate. Luckily it won't require surgery, just a medical boot for 6 to 8 weeks, but Dr. Reyes and the rest of the crew at McKinney podiatric are great people to work with. Thanks DR Reyes!! read more

I went to Dr. Mckinney for severe ankle pain, he took pictures of it and said I had arthritis in the ankle, he gave me a shot and sent me home. I was seeing another doctor for different reasons and explained the severe pain in my ankle, he ordered x-rays and come to find out my ankle was broken. I am posting this review on behalf of my mom. I had a hammertoe and bunion correction surgery done at McKinney Podiatric Associates by Dr. Jorge Cuza. After a few weeks of recovery, I went for a follow-up and expressed my concerns about how my foot was improperly healing. Dr. Cuza dismissed my concerns even though it was apparent that my foot was still looking and feeling impaired. I was unsatisfied with this conversation and decided to seek a second opinion. Upon review from another doctor, it was determined that my big toe had been over-rotated in the initial surgery and my second and third toes were misaligned and did not touch the ground when standing flat. There were other findings such as improperly secured hardware to the toe which ultimately lead to a recommendation to have the whole surgery redone. I am extremely disappointed and have had to go through another surgery during the holidays all due to the grave lack of professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by "Dr" Jorge Cuza. I felt like the dr didn't know how to communicate well with patients. i had to ask her to show where the fracture was on my foot. She seemed unsure looking at the X-ray exactly what was going on. She ordered a CT which I didn't receive a call until 5 days later to schedule. I think with a fracture it should have been handled faster. It took 4 phone calls to get a copy of the xray to take to another podiatrist. The last time i called the receptionist answered the phone rudely. I asked for the podiatrist office and she said, "this is" which I thought she was asking who I was. She said I needed to come sign so I drove there to get the copy and was not greeted just handed me the CD I'm at my new appointment with my old podiatrist only to find out that the CD of my X-ray was blank Not sure if this was done intentionally because of all my requests to get a copy or they just forgot to finalize. I really appreciate getting such good service as a first time patient. A lot of places want two months, but they worked me in for an appt. I arrived and found not only the staff to be very friendly, but even the other patients. When I went back for my appt the doctor seemed very knowledgeable and the diagnosis and treatment prescribed was perfect for me, even though I thought I needed to do different. Scott McKinney is being sued in Harris County, Tx District Court case 2018-44624/Court 33 for medical malpractice. The female patient almost died. Her venous system was compromised. Her medical record was sketchy per her medical expert which means it was difficult to tell what happened during surgery . Scott McKinney performs UNCONSENTED procedures. He filed my healthcare provider for an implant in which they did not pay for because it was an add-on service. According to the partial copy of medical record received from the hospital , a Skye Biologics product representative was a part of my surgical team. I wonder was this representative a part of the surgical team of the patient suing him for malpractice. He told my family member that accommodated me during surgery that I had some new diagnosis in addition to what had already been diagnosed. Because I knew that he had no consent to do any additional procedures, I confronted him. When confronted, he did not admit to any additional procedures. Based on my experience and his behavior, I found a new podiatrist approximately 30 days after he performed surgery. I had advanced diagnostic imaging approximately three months after surgery which provides critical information on what happened during surgery. He and St. Luke'sPatients Medical Center where he is or had partial ownership and where the surgery was performed should be investigated by the Department of Justice in particularly the FBI. I wonder if certain patients are being treated differently. Well, Texas has already placed one doctor in prison for life for killing and assaulting patients during surgery. read more
