Texas Gulf Coast Foot and Ankle is the podiatry medicine department of the larger Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group. I am a patient of Dr. Giacomuzzi (Dr. G for short). Dr. G has been a practicing Podiatrist since 1988. He was originally with MacGregor Medical Group when I first became his patient. For those who have been in Houston a long time, you'll recall that MacGregor was a 12-clinic system associated with The Methodist Hospital System (similar to how Kelsey-Seybold is with St. Luke's) that closed in 2002. Dr. G has seem me and my immediate family for various foot ailments, multiple avulsion fractures, custom orthotics, and surgeries to remove foreign objects from our feet. Dr. G is very personable and provides excellent care. I have personally referred many people to him over the years and now I am referring him to you. In my opinion, you can always tell what type of person a physician is based upon the amount of turnover you see with his staff. Dr. G and Dr. Briggs have had the same basic staff for years with very little turnover. To me, that speaks volumes about the docs. Appointment Tip: You can call Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group to schedule an appointment but I have found it easier to call the Podiatry Department directly and speak to Jennifer. Dr. Richard Hung, M.D. completed an Ethmoidectomy Total surgery; however, during surgery, the doctor poked thru the lining into my husband's brain, resulting in a two-night stay at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston. She does not get payed anymore because of it, insurance does not reimburse her any extra. She spends more time and material simply because she wants to deliver superior long term results! They gave an estimate of removing all 4 wisdom teeth it was a large amount so Only one tooth came out the SAME lady came back to give me another estimate on my other 3 wisdom teeth and she gave me the same number if not larger that wouldn't make sense if i already had one pulled it's not like I'm getting all 4 removed if i only HAVE 3!!

I told her I had $5k to do dentistry, it wouldn't be enough for what she said I had to do. This upset her and she was like well my 30 years of experience is worth it. I never said it wasen't I just dont have more than 5k. Thanks god for her assistant! Her assistant told me to goto UTMB Dentist school.
