Twice now McLaren has come to my rescue! First was for a rat issue under and over my house (yes they were in the crawlspace AND in the attic - those jerks). Mike from McLaren pointed out the likely access points, setup traps, and came back often to check on the traps and help with cleanup. Second was a wasp nest in our backyard. I'm deathly allergic to stings, so even though the nest was small, I would've been in big trouble if even one of those things decided it didn't like me. We use Don with McLaren pest control and highly recommend him. Super nice guy that doesn't overcharge like most of the pest control places we've spoken with seem to. We used another pest control company in the past, and always had them call the day before they were coming out so we could put the dog away, but they started showing up unannounced, and since the gate was locked they would leave and their new software/payment system charged us anyway. So we ended that! We did not have a pest company for over 2-years and only just started getting bugs showing up, so we wanted a pest company the would come quarterly and Don's was the only one that would. Not only that, he didn't have any additional "up front" initial additional charges for our "first" servicing, most we checked with wanted double the maintenance rate for the first service. I don't think it's necessary to have a company spray every other month, but they sure love to set it up so that you pay every other month. Don's is great! We moved to Tracy last summer from the Bay Area and discovered quickly there are a lot more bugs and critters out here. Our main issue last summer were black widows (we moved in July so we had quite a few with the heat) and as soon as the weather started to warm up this year they started to come back out. I looked online and found this company and was able to call and schedule an appointment right away. Don was prompt and came right on time and explained everything to me, where bugs like to hide, what he was using to spray (which I appreciate especially with kids running around I want to make sure it is safe) and answered all of my annoying questions without hesitation. We are on the monthly service for now but even Don was honest and said we won't need that for very long and could switch to the bi-monthly eventually. So far since we've had them spray we have seen almost no bugs and zero spiders!!! Would recommend this company to anyone! read more
