I would give them 0 stars if possible. Terrible customer support. Purchased a brand new travel travel trailer. There were some issues with the camper. We brought it in for them to fix. They claim to have fixed the issue, but issues were not resolved. They 'complete' the fixes and forget to let you know it is available for pickup. When you discover the issue is not resolved, ypu bring it back for them to fix, and they keep it for another 2 months. Personally, we have had a primary system not functional for the past 2 years and when asking for a replacement system, they get angry and hang up on you. Highly suggest you avoid this retailer when purchasing your next camper. read more

I bought a brand new pontoon from them and it has had issues with trim Guage and other things and getting them to perform warranty work has been impossible. Haven't heard from sales as a follow up at all after buying to even say thanks for the purchase. read more

We dropped our boat off never got estimate. Many calls and no return unless one great receptionist from Fargo who went above and beyond with helping us. The young man who sold us the boat and never would return calls when we had issues etc. Would not come to talk to us when stopped in shop to check on the boat repair. Will never recommend or purchase another product from them. read more

Hmmm all of the reviews here are 1 star, with good reason IMO. See the 1994 Glastron 175 on their website for $5000? I actually purchased that boat, THEN they checked it mechanically and discovered an issue that required a new part. Depending on who you talk to, it either HAS been repaired or HASN'T been repaired. We got tired of waiting and asked for our money back. We received it in good time, no problem. I did ask if the boat got repaired if we could have first dibs, one salesperson said it is repaired, it has also reappeared on their website so beware and ask for your own independent mechanical inspection before committing to purchase. Sad that a longtime FM business would operate this way. Be particularly wary of Greg Michelson, he ignored me repeatedly. read more

Wish I could give these guys zero stars. I made an appointment to have the electrical system looked at on my boat because we are having issues with the switches for the Balist and the radio. They said they were backed up three weeks so rather than have it sit outside at their lot I made an appointment three weeks ahead of time. When I brought it in they said they would look at it that day or the next day at the latest. Three weeks later after calling they still haven't looked at it. Then having to call two days later they finally look at it and tell me they can't replicate the issue. They charge me $200 and it took them six weeks to tell me they couldn't replicate the issue. Then I get it to the lake and try to flip on the switch and it literally falls out of the dash! Are you kidding me? They obviously never even looked at the boat. read more

I bought a new Yamaha outboard motor at McLaughlin's RV and Marine in Fargo, ND. I subsequently brought it back to McLaughlin's service department every fall for winterizing. Last summer, when I put the boat back in the lake, it stalled within a few minutes. The diagnosis was a ruined lower gear unit because the lower lubricant plug had apparently become loose or had not been inserted at all. The lower unit is serviced during the winterizing process. McLaughlin's, however, refused to accept even partial responsibility for the motor's failure just a few minutes after subsequent use. I was forced to take what I felt was a major step of filing a lawsuit in small claims court. However, I did not have a mechanic as an expert witness. The judge did not seem to understand outboard motor servicing, so denied my claim. This spring I brought the motor to a another licensed Yamaha dealer's service department for repair. The mechanics at this service department, on inspecting the damage, said that only one thing could have caused this lower unit oil plug to fail: it was improperly installed during the winterizing process. Repair cost more than $1,600. While there's nothing I can do now, I wish to relate the facts of this case to someone who may be considering this dealer's service department. I feel it did not stand behind its work, even for a loyal and longtime customer. read more

I purchased a 2018 Jayco 26.5 RLDS, thats when my problems started. This unit has caused me problems from day one. Some of the promlems were electrical, 3 water leaks, air conditioner, tv antenna, interior trim work, linoleum, furnace, draining holding tanks, interior paneling, slides not sealing, control panel door, should I go on. In the late fall of 2018 we purchased a Premier pontoon boat from McLaughlin's RV and Marine. The sale went smoothly. Trade in, storage and title transfer were very well handled. In the spring, when it came time to pick up our pontoon boat everything went downhill. McLaughlin's service department dropped the ball on numerous occasions. It was as if we didn't matter after the sale was made. We made an appointment to pick up our pontoon boat, we were assured the boat was ready and that prior to our departure a walk through would be given as to the working of our boat. An hour and a half into our trip to pick up our pontoon boat we received a call from the McLaughlin's service desk canceling our appointment due to the fact that our boat had not been prepared and was still being worked on.....they were awaiting parts. The fact that the boat was still being worked on was news to us and a complete contradiction of the information the service desk had given us earlier in the week when the appointment was booked!!! I had rented a trailer for the pick up and the two people along to aide me had taken days off from work to give me a hand only to be turned around half way through the trip.......AND NO PONTOON!!!! At this point a manager called me and told me they would deliver the boat "to my dock". The day of the delivery arrived and I received a call at approximately 10:30 am telling me they were leaving Fargo with my pontoon. They were made aware that I was on crutches due to an injury and was unable to aide them in the drop off. They told me it was not a problem. That they had two people dropping it off. And a dockside delivery would be completed. All seemed well. Not so much!!! At 4:30 pm a single driver arrived at my home with my pontoon boat in tow. He said he needed a person to help unload the boat and to drive it to the house. I told him that I was told earlier that morning that I was assured that two people were delivering the pontoon boat to me and they were aware of my situation. The driver told me that he reminded his manager that I was on crutches and was unable to assist in the delivery....he said his managers response was "I don't care....you are going alone". That statement alone shows a tremendous lack of character by this manager AND lack of character of the company he is employed by...McLaughlin's RV and Marine!!!! I purchased a '97 Lund ProV here and after hearing it run I purchased it. Once on the water it wouldn't run more than 20 seconds, also the trolling motor didn't work. After them not fixing the trolling motor I brought the boat to a trusted dealer back home and ended up paying over $1500 to get it fixed. Fuel pump was out, dash lights for oil level, many other things with the motor. I was told this was the most shoddy work they have ever seen from a dealership. In short if you don't want to get screwed out of money STAY AWAY from here! read more

READ ALL : So we bought our camper last year @ the "fun factory" in Fargo... The camper had some warranty work so this April I brought it in to have done before the warranty expires... They had it a month and nothing... Couldn't fix it because they could not get the parts in time... So I said.. Just send me the parts I will do your job... Casey or Corey , the general manager called me in May.. Said he would have a tech come to my lake spot and make the repairs... By June ... So.. Last week someone calls me to drop off the parts at my house.. I said no.. You guys are suppose to do the work at Cass lake... Ok the guy said.. I will be there next week .. I will call you and let you know when... No call all week... Today my wife Erika Omdahl calls them and says wtf... The same general manager calls me back.. Basically told me I was a liar.. He never told me that... This man called me the first time... Offered it to me.. Cause their service sucked! Now I am a liar and have no right to get upset... Now he tells me to get bit.. Not only will they not do the work.. But .. I have to pick up the parts in Fargo ... I said.. See ya in court... He said piss off... Now .. I told him I would spread the shitty service word.. The only reason I gave one star is because Mate was really good. I have an issue with them and have called four times and left messages and no one has gotten back to me. When I purchased the camper I was told by the owner they will always be there and when I had an emergency on the way camping it took 4 days and another three phone calls to get someone to help me I ended up going somewhere else to get help. They are there when they want your money, but as soon as you give it to them nothing. I waited 2 months to write this review thinking I would give them time to fix their wrong and nothing so unless you have everything at your place that they have don't go there! read more

We stopped in on a Sat. which the sales staff was very helpful however that's where it ended, We tried to trade in our old camper and get a camper that suited us better and it was to late Sat. to get answer about the financing so we were told they would run it Monday. We didn't get a call back so I called about 5:10 pm which they close at 6 pm and no one knew anything. We did finally get a call about 8:10 which we were told we would need extra down payment of $2300 and we needed to fax a copy of our camper policy which I did Tuesday morning and again no call all day.I then I called my salesmen which he had no idea what was going on.These was at 3 pm I finally got a call telling me I needed another $5200. Went here to have an RV fixed in 2012. They said I could just drop it off on a Saturday, it took 30 minutes to get someone to help me to tell me where to park it. Then they were suppose to have it fixed by Tues, they did not get it fixed until Friday. Then did not call me to let me know it would not be fixed on time and whenever I called I got put on hold and nobody could tell me when it would be complete. This was warranty work and was suppose to be submitted under warranty. I paid my warranty deductible and heard nothing more from this business. Then a year later in 2013, I get an invoice for work in 2012, the bill was not sent out for over a year. I called to get more info on the bill and nobody would return my calls. The bill just had an amount on it and no other information on what it was for. Then I got another bill in October of 2013, the first bill was July 2013 (which they would not return my calls on), with a note saying it was sent to collections. I called again and demanded to speak to a manager. I spoke with Jess and he had no documentation on what the warranty company told him and why some items were not paid, he told me to call the warranty company myself. He said he has no idea when bills go out and no documentation on if they had billed me or not. Even on the copy of the bill it says "Complete 26 July 13" which is over a year from when the work was completed. Jess was extremely rude and not very knowledgeable. I suggest you find a different company to work on your RVs. read more
